- Learn how to add a watermark to your video using PowerDirector 15. The logo watermark tutorial for CyberLink PowerDirector 15 Ultimate will show you how to create a logo watermark to use in your videos. Logo watermarks are a great way to protect your videos from people taking your footage and using it as their own. When you place a logo watermark in your video your logo will be in the video if someone tries to take your clip and use it. In this video Maliek Whitaker will show you how to create a PIP Object logo watermark using the PIP Objects room. Then he will show you how to save the logo watermark as a PIP Object that you can apply to any video project whenever you like. This way you do not have to create the effect every time you want to place a watermark in your videos. This is a great tool that you can use to protect your videos and make sure no one else uses your content without your permission.

This was very helpful. I have a question, though: after putting the logo in, I see the box in the area it's supposed to be, but I don't see the logo.

Watched this and the one for Pinnacle. It's interesting to see how to do the same thing in both. It's a shame that PowerDirector doesn't have the 3D rotation feature for rotating the logo.
I was thinking the same thing when I was making this video. Hopefully they add that feature in future versions.

This is great yhanks. Can you do or have you ever done a video on color boarders for videos? I see some people do this but I don't know how. Like a frame on the screen for the video. Thanks keep your flow a rolling.
There are color boards available in the program. If you go to the Library, click on the dropdown next to media, and select color boards. Add the color board to the timeline, add your clip to the track under the color board, and use PIP Designer to scale down your video.

Great instructions - but I must have done something wrong because png logo worked first time, but revised and made new png and now neither of them are will show up in video from second track (after dragging them there). They show up in window preview though.

you'll have to do that using keyframes. he has a tutorial on his channel for keyframes if you're unsure how to use them.

Hello Maliek! Is there a way to customize the aspect ratio in PowerDirector 365? I'm looking for 1350 x 1080px.
When you go to Produce the video select the 2D option, and change it from Default to Custom. Then you can change the resolution.

I like both styles that you use for PDU & PSP. I currently have PS14 and by the looks of your videos, PD has a more fluent zest to it. I'm currently looking at upgrading and was wondering which one has the most bang for the buck. PD16 orPS21 ultimate.
That's really up to you Rick. It depends on which features you will use and which interface/usability you prefer. I recommend getting the trial version of PD16 and taking it for a test drive. Then you can watch my PS 21 and see what you think.

No I don't. The best way to do that with this software is to crop the video or if the text is in a location where cropping will not work, blur out the text.
One thing I noticed when I was resizing a logo like you did.
It didn't seem to go as small as what I would like it to go.
Perhaps that's just the way PowerDirector works. Like I mentioned before
I am used to working in
Corel. And it seems like I can resize it in
Corel much smaller.
I don't mean to the point where it disappears. Just a bit smaller than what you showed in your video.
Could you have made it smaller or was that as small as it would go ?

Your watermark can look however you want it to as long as you can make it using a photo editor.

Whenever I export almost any video on powerdirector15 ultra it comes out laggy and freezes a lot. I have tried changing lots of settings but the result still comes out the same. In preview before producing it looks fine. Anyone know what the problem could be?-But great video

So I have a logo that is several colors, but the main part of the lettering is white as well as the background. Is there any way to get rid of the white background but keep the white on the letters? Whenever I use the chroma key it goes ahead and removes all the white.
You'll need to use a photo editor to remove the white background and save the image as a .PNG image so that the background is transparent.

Hi Malik, I'm following your videos as I found them useful even though I have just purchased the PowerDirector 18. It would be helpful if you make new videos with the latest PD and also explaining how to save and proceed to finalize each item you mention. Today i tried to post my 3 minute teaser fireworks pyro show we have had last night on facebook but it did not accept it so i had a choice of posting it either on Vimeo or UA-cam and I chose the later. Would appreciate to know how I can post on FB and also on Instagram.
Franco Tabone I don’t use the online upload options. I Produce as an mo4 video file, then I go to the website on my browser to upload. For Instagram I transfer the mp4 file to my phone or tablet and upload from the device.
@@PDU_Tutorials I saved the file as an Mp4 but still facebook did not accept it as it said it was over 4Gb which I'm surprised about but maybe because I did not allow PD to make shadow footage so that I have better quality on the video. I'm not an expert and I wish to learn and do things better
@@francotabone4047 If you reduce your bitrate the size of the video will be smaller. Keep in mind the quality will be reduced as well. Facebook recommends a max bit rate of 4000 Kbps (4 mbps). Ciao Maliek, nel tutorial precedente di Pinnacle 20, hai fatto vedere come ruotare il Logo a 360 gradi. Invece nel tutorial di adesso, cioè in PowerDirector 15 non lo hai spiegato come ruotare il Logo a 360 gradi, perché? Forse non è possibile realizza quest'effetto con PowerDirector...?

No. If getting from PowerDirector you have to select the Download option in PowerDirector. You can't select download from the web preview.
