That was fantastic man. Well done, and thanks for all the great videos you make
The BEST CPD teacher just gets BETTER with EVERY tutorial👍
Maliek, I am learning editing as a hobby associated with another hobby, drone photography and video. Your tutorials have been cutting my learning curve with PD. Keep up the great work. I believe it's going to be a PDU binge watching weekend! I have PD 16. Your videos from all versions are very helpful for this version. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful.
Hi Maliek - just wanted to thank you and say what an excellent tutorial this is! I am a knowledge manager who creates tutorials and KBs and I see so many that fall short. Great job!
Awesome! Exactly what i needed. Thank you so so very much. This was super helpful.
Remove an object or remove the background from any video!

Great vid mate. Can you dolly zoom effect for drones with powerdirector 15?Thanks again
Google "PowerDirector customer service" or "CyberLink customer service"
Another awesome video, going to play with this over the weekend!
You are the man! I have had ColorDirector 4 and did not know how to use it until I watched your video. Thanks
This comes pretty close to that "after effects" video I asked about. Thank you!!! Now I just need to get a package deal on color director.
Purchased!! I always watch your stuff over other channels. Thanks bro
Perfect...we were just talking about this...you are the boss !! thank you !!
Thanks, just what I was looking for! Just got Powerdirector and this will be really useful for some videos I'm planning on making
Thanks for the shout out man! Another great video and I´m glad i´m owning color directo, too...Greetings from Germany
Best PD channel out there, liked and subbed :)
Thank you! I've been using PD for a few years and just got 15. I'm so sick of setting up my green screen and the only tutorial until now that I could find was in Hebrew or something. You've helped me immensely.
Wow! What a powerful tool! Turns out I need to pick up ColorDirector!
THANK YOU so much for posted this, it helped me out a lot! appreciate it! :)
I feel silly for not knowing about color director and what it can do. This is exactly what I've wanted to know. I think this'll get me back into editing! Thanks!
Well done I love your videos ! Respect to you brother!
You're a great teacher thank you for your help
Ty for these videos. I just switched to PowerDirector 15 from Filmora. Your videos have definitely helped me with the learning curve with the abundance of new features I get to play with now.
Another good tutorial again to learn more stuff.
Excellent, thank you. I use the traditional Green screen (Big physical sheet) for some of my music videos on another channel but I will definitely be trying this out. Thanks again, really well explained.
I am a Power Director user and it is really good. Thank you so much of your short video tutorial and it really helps me bro.
very useful! thanks again Milek
Thank you. This was really helpful. Its a remedy for shoots where creating green screen backdrops are not possible, especially because it would be expensive to do it - getting the right lighting and so on.
YES thank you so much for this!
Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to make this, been looking for this for ages, even left a comment from another account. I have a newer version than this, but got the just, and know where all the stuff is, I have colour director, never used it. Thank you.
@@PDU_Tutorials is there any easier way at cutting someone out of a video clip in the latest version of Powerdirector 365? Seems to take me ages doing it this way. If you have a more up to date video, please can you provide the link here please? Thanks in advance, appreciate all your videos.
@@oliversmith2 Not that I’m aware of. Hopefully they app the background removal tool they added to the mobile app soon.
@@PDU_Tutorials it's strange it's on the mobile version and not on the proper editor. Thanks for replying though. It drives me crazy.
you should become a trillionare!! thanks MY Guy for doing this I love !
this really helped. I've always wanted to know how to do this.
Great video. Thanks.
Great video. Thank you.
Excellent tutorial.
Thank you so much for this video! I literally was about to switch to premier pro until I saw this video!
That was pretty good.
could you do a few more tutorials using color director cos I have it but I'm still confused on some of the features and there aren't many videos showing me how it works. I'm mainly confused on the 3 Regional Adjustment Tools
ii love it much very niv=ce and great tutorial from you ,,,you are great
Bravo Maliek!
i got color director today asnd am gonna try that trick on my blue wall background videos. Thanks Maliek.
Thanks!
Wow this is so helpful. I LOVE your tutorials.....you make it so clear. I make piano videos and I like filming out in nature. But I’m wanting an alternative for the winter so was experimenting with putting a big green screen behind the piano , lighting it etc but it’s been an epic fail so far! I wonder if the motion tracker mask technique would work for a piano video? Thanks! Louise
Should work but the feature has been buggy and not working for a lot of people. CyberLink needs to fix it.
Love you, man. You're the reason why my videos aren't *total* shit lol
Amazing
In case nobody has mentioned it already, to erase a mask there is an easier method: instead of going to the erase option on the mask tool options, you can toggle the mask/erase options by just holding down the "Alt" key and It will reverse whatever option you are using. For those of you who are users of Photoshop, a lot of this is intuitive and will also work on Powerdirector.
This is super helpful. Anyway you can show how to do a frame blocking transition using mask in PowerDirector. I'm using this video, but I'm not successful in finding a way to customize the mask shape.
Thanks, this is helping me make a decision as to which software I'm going to choose.
Cool. Keep in mind, some people are experiencing a bug with this effect right now. If you get it and experience a bug you'll need to make CyberLink aware so they fix it.
Can we make a "Follow face" option on a speaker on a stage? To zoom in, and follow face? Just like a web camera.
I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a couple months!!!! Thank you for this video!!!!!!!!! I will be watching more!Have a question/request: Is there a tutorial for how to make a " Terminator" style affect in PD15? I've experimented with some of the affects, and I get it about 60% where I want it, but its just not good enough. I want to do the FULL " Terminator" style affect, with the text scrolling on the sides, and a " targeting" reticule. I know it's going to be complicated, but that's my ultimate goal. Again Thank You for this video! I've definitely hit SUBSCRIBE!
Don't know how I got unsubscribed. SUBSCRIBED again. I was wondering where you were. LOL
This is great ! It should be titled "How to create your own green screen clips" !
BROOO THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'R THE BEST!!!!!! I LEARNED EVERYTNice tutorialNG I NEEDED TO KNOW THAN YOU VERY
Is there no way to create free form motion mask shape without ColorDirector?
hi the program CyberLink PowerDirector 15 have colordirector or need to buy separately
Dang I wish you had one done for CyberLink PowerDirector 16 with this effect as well.
Another great tutorial. Having trouble - despite turning the exposure and brightness turned all the way down and contrast all the way up, replacing with green, then turning tolerance all the way up - I still get most of my background showing through (in all new strange colors and outlines). Any thoughts? Thanks!!
Jason Mandel Seems that there is a known issue with ColoDirector. Please report this using the File > Rate & Feedback option in PowerDirector or ColorDirector
I've started using this instead over the roto brush tool in after effects because its so much quicker and easier :)
