The Dolphins are probably the best team in the league right now. But there's no such thing as a super bowl lock. Injuries play a huge role and are completely unpredictable.

And to say that Tua is injury prone is an understatement. I'm a Tua fan and a Bama man, but he misses games every year due to injury. I wish it weren't true, but it is. That is why I'm a little encouraged by his backup's play.

Dolphins vs Bills next Sunday is already giving me UFC super fight type of chills. I don’t even get this hyped for most playoff games or Super Bowls, let alone regular season games. The two games between those teams look like they are obviously going to determine the AFC East winner, but could also force a potentially historically great offense to have to go to freezing Buffalo in January rather than getting to stay home in 75 degree Miami. I think it’s safe to say the other AFC playoff caliber teams will all become Bills fans this Sunday……
And it'll happen twice each season. So good, so happy!

@@pkspecial2196 the Bills, if they are smart, will implement both offensive and defensive schemes to limit the number of overall offensive possessions Miami gets in the game. It statistically gives you the best chance at beating uber potent offenses. This means putting together longer, extended drives on offense that are capped off WITH TDs, as well as the defense forcing Miami to sustain 10+ play drives….. even if the majority are TD drives, because those eat up way more clock than the 4-6 play TD drives which are so often capped off by some 40-60 yard TD pass or run.

Remember, there is LOTS of football left to be played, and injuries occur. The teams that meet in the SB are the two surviving teams out of a handful of "good" teams (obviously inherently "bad" teams are never part of the equation) who receive the benefit of one or more of the following:
a) sustaining the FEWEST injuries to key players/having your best players healthy and available in the playoffs;
b) being the beneficiary of TIMELY "breaks" (e.g., referee calls, bounces of the ball, etc. [think the "Tuck Rule" and the start of the Patriots' dynasty]);
c) favorable weather (e.g., a "cold weather" team getting to host a "hot weather" or "indoor" team up North in an outdoor stadium OR a "hot weather" team getting to host an outdoor "cold weather" team in heat; and/or
d) "home field advantage" APART from weather considerations (e.g., not having the "lost preparation/practice time" and/or "wear-and-tear" of having to travel, having home fans to "influence" referee calls, being able to sleep in your own bed, etc.) "d)" is somewhat of a combined hybrid of "b" and "c"

People are sleeping on the Buffalo D this season. They have thus far given up 16, 16 and 3 points. And yesterday's 3 were with a minute to play against the Bills' second-stringers. Since cutting their defensive coordinator loose the Bills D went from soft bend but don't break to now an aggressive beast that is wrecking hell. Really looking forward to seeing this game. Remember, last season a lot of people thought the Bills were a Super Bowl lock until Miami upended them in Week 3.
Flores is a bum as a head coach and tried to destroy Tua. Good for Tua.
And he is suing the nfl for lack of coaching opportunities. Bruh ur work in miami is the reason y teams wont hire u. U r right, he is a bum but he is still a better head coach then matt patricia.
That's very unfair for many reasons. One, Flores was being pressured by the Owner to tank. Two, their team was nowhere close to what it is now. The o-line was terrible, Tua kept getting hurt. Ryan Fitzmagic the forever backup was outplaying him. And lastly, Flores is a defensive coach and their defense was pretty good for most games but their offence had no juice and everyone, Owner, Coach, etc, was trying to trade Tua for Brady, Watson, Wilson, even as recent as Rodgers. So let's not act like this was a great team. Your Owner was literally penalized last year for tampering with Sean Payton and Brady. And look how bad Payton has been coaching.

Your owner literally wanted to trade Tua cause he was (and still kinda is) a glass cannon. Your Owner was also telling the coach to tank for a better pick so they could find another QB. But sure, it's Brian Flores' fault. Sounds like you're mad at Flores for something else cause after Flores was removed by your Owner, that whole team was loaded on talent with Tyreek and others coming in. Had Flores coached this same team and failed then you'd have a point. Right now you sound like sour grapes.
@sonikspeed19 the fact is you are wrong. He was NOT hurt as much as was lead to believe, how can a qb learn and grow when they are pulled out of the situations they thrive in? I think you have your own reason for trying to defend Flores so hard without even knowing the facts because I highly doubt you followed it as it was going on. It's OK to admitt that as well.
This isn't just how good are the Dolphins, but also a case of how bad are the Broncos.
It was one of the few cases where a vastly superior team asserted their dominence for 58 minutes. Then, at the end, when there was absolutely ZERO question who was in charge, did the Dolphins relent. But they made it known that it was purely an act of mercy.
Yup the Fins' are really good and the broncos are the new laughing stock of the NFL , it was a perfect match made in hell from the start.
That is why I feel like the people and media are losing their sh*t way too early. Sure Miami played really well , but against a #26 D . Combine Miami having a good day with Denver having a bad day and having a #26 D . there is bound to be a high scoring game. Can Miami have a win over the Bills? Sure , but it will be far from the blow out people are expecting.
even the 2016 Browns never got beat like this. This is definitely more a testament of the greatness of the Dolphins

Flores almost straight ruined the young man. I doubt there is a single coach other than McDaniel that could have rehabilitated Tua like he did. The player Tua is now is the same one he was in Alabama. It was always there.

Somebody finally addressing Flores and the absolute crime he committed by trying to ruin Tua. Hate will always lose out to love. McDaniel was exactly what Miami needed. And needs. Bruh ur underestimating mike mcdaniel. He studied under kyle shanahan. Kyle understands defenses and knows how to counter attack it. Mike studied under Kyle so I promise u mike mcdaniel understands defenses as much as kyle does and what they will try to take away and he will have plan to attack that defense. Mike is a offensive genius, he is right up there with kyle and with mike is gonna be a nightmare for teams to stop like how teams hate trying to game plan against kyle shanahan

@@Moneymaker-sl5jk Its not impossible, I don't think he was suggesting that. The Pats game they barely threw the ball relative to week 1. And it was a close game. What we saw was an outlier game with the Broncos, and I think McDaniel understands that its not indicative of whats happening next week.

Miamis competition thus far is superior to Buffalo's competition🤷♂️. The Broncos may be looking bad but getting 70 put on you says something about Miami. They won't put 70 on Buffalo but no one will be surprised if Miami wins this game by 2+ scores. Miami offense > Buffalo defense.

Denver up gave 70 points to Miami but also 35 points at home to Washington. Buffalo gave up 3 to Washington on the road. Buffalo time of possession the last two games was 40 and 35 minutes. It's pretty hard to score when you don't have the ball.

It's week 3 come back in week 17 and see which team is the hot team. It's a long season and injuries play a big factor.
This is when EVERYONE makes a mistake predicting Super Bowl for a team. Absolutely an impressive performance and one that will be talked about for a long time; however, it is only week 3 and they beat a really bad defense and bad Broncos team.
Tua never been into the media or trash talking he’s just letting his personality out and having a lot of fun out there, so blessed to have him as our qb

First two Miami games were close games, not blow outs. Blowing out the Bronco's, possibly the worst team in the league, isn't all that impressive, a big overreaction. Let's see how they do against a Buffalo defense before we crown them Super Bowl champs.

Not this year. Now it comes through Miami.
It's way too early but this week, no one is playing more dynamic or physical football than Miami. Buffalo's D is good, but not good enough to dominate Miami at this point. Miami is a full bump tougher than last year and can't be manhandled.
No defense is going to dominate Miami, but they can be limited somewhat and outscored and the Bills are capable of that. Destroying a winless team at home doesn't necessarily mean your team will waltz in and beat a top tier team on the road the following week.

As a dolphins fan we need to calm down and take a breath i know the offense has been exciting but the defense has been getting torched and that's not good considering we are heading back to buffalo. Too bad McDaniel's isn't a defensive coach cause we could use some of his wizardry on defense now.

Its going to be a slugfest between Miami and Buffalo next weekend. They said two will only got stacked twice. So far. The bills got nine sacks, four interceptions and a fumble recovery last weekend. Miami definitely isn't putting up 70 but it's going to be a slugfest for sure

I'll admit, scoring 70 points on anyone, not just any team but any person, is damn near impossible. Lets not forget they scored 70 points on a mediocre broncos team that seems to be falling apart & wasnt really even trying half the time. Still 70 points pretty damn impressive no matter who is on the other side of the ball.
Week 2 or 3 is one thing. Lets see if the Dolphins are doing the same thing in week 15. There are no super bowl locks in week 3.
