I don't care for Russell Wilson one way or the other but it looked like he was the only one on that entire Broncos roster, including the coaches, that didn't give up. That is what's shameful, losing even by 50 isn't as shameful as giving up. You get horrible mismatches and huge blowouts like this in middle school football and yet those kids go out there and don't give up despite being outmatched at every level.
Wilson earned my respect in that game, that doofus always-positive-never-give-up-good-guy act of his really isn't an act, that's who he really is.
Sad looking at the broncos sideline afterwards, especially Russell, looks like they were crying for real.

This makes what the Patriots defense did to Miami a week earlier seem unbelievable. Miami scored 24 points and Tyreek had just 40 yards in that game. Tua only had 244 passing yards. Oh, and they had Jaylen Waddle in that game. They can be beaten.

I been a cowboys fan since 80s and I've been rooting for the dolphins with Tua etc, they got a good team I just hope they stay healthy and they will be in playoffs which will be great to see
It's looking like a new coming of a golden age for Miami Dolphins as long as McDaniels is coaching/innovating and Tua keeps this level of play up. Just a very fun team to watch in general too, casual fans will tune in to watch that offense when most people would just tune out cause they don't want to watch a team they like play defense cause its boring.

I was in StL when the Rams were GSoT. Miami's offense is built kinda like that and they look scary like that too, at least right now they do. We'll see if they can keep it going, but it's almost impossible to stop everybody on that offense. Tua just needs to stay healthy.

@@Juiceroyalzwhen you down 35 10 at halftime you basically have to pass and the defense knows that and they aren’t going give you anything deep and the pass rusher don’t have to worry about the Run game. Honestly to was bad all around but the defense looked like a victim in Law & Order SVU episode
It ain’t all on Russ by any means but when the defense has a game like this it’s also fair to consider how the offensive performance plays into how the defense performs over the course of the game. When the offense has a ton of drives where they go three and out quickly and keep sending the defense back out without much rest of any kind the defense isn’t going to play well. When the offense has multiple turnovers that give the dolphins really good field position on short drives that send the defense right back out quickly again the defense isn’t going to perform well. The defense laid an egg no doubt but it’s also fair to consider that a defense that keeps getting thrown back out there without getting some rest to face such a quick team that spreads the field like Miami that you’re going to see them give up points. Things can change uo a bit if your offense instead has some long drives that lets that defense get some rest before going back out there. They probably still lose but they also probably aren’t giving up 70 either. But the problems are definitely more than just Russ but he will always be a major target for criticism even if he’s playing better this season so far. Comes with the price that was paid to have him

Russ is far from the problem. Has he made some bad decisions? Sure he has. But Sean DOES NOT make adjustments. The line cannot keep Russ clean. The defense is abysmal. Johnson alone wiped off two tuddies. Sutton lost two fumbles, thats potentially another two tuddies. Russ was the only one trying to make something happen at the end of the game... again, Russ is not the problem. He has actually been solid this year.

The biggest Mistake Russ made was misevaluating the Broncos roster. He believed the hype. He left a better receiving corp in Seattle. The O lines are about the same as is the Running Game. I never thought the Broncos were a QB away. I don’t think the Broncos have an identity. The Broncos was a Trap for Russell Wilson. I disagree with Shannon’s take on Russ’s leadership but it is concerning because I believe Shannon has insider info.
