A Guide to Fuzzy Guards in Skullgirls.

Someone on a forum once asked what a Fuzzy Guard is, and a lot of people seem to have some misunderstandings.

I'll list some examples.
After getting someone in standing blockstun, instantly jump and do:
- Squigly: jLP > Fallen Woman
- Big Band: jLK > jMK > jHK
- Eliza: No.
- Fortune: jLP > Stuff
- Peacock: jLP ADC jLK
- Painwheel: jLK Fly j3LK
- Filia/Fukua: jLK/jLP > jHK
- Cerebella: Nothing very useful. Instant jump jHP hits crouching characters anyways so use that.
- Valentine: jLP > jHP ADC jMP
- Beowulf jLP > jLK > jMK
- Parasoul: jLP jHP or jMK jHP
- Double: jLP x M Barrel
Note that not everyone has good Fuzzy Guards, some are unsafe on block and hard to confirm off.
Some characters that can open people up very easily with good mix-up are better off going for other options because Fuzzy Guard set ups are commonly push blocked out.
Also a lot of Fuzzy Guard set ups are character specific.
Those that are very short are harder to set up on compared to those that are very tall.

So push blocking at the right time is the only way to deal with FG?

iceoutjohn Block the high low correctly or pushblock so they can't get in range, yeah.
Also if you can block their first hit in the air you can't be hit high/low.
