2016 Mustang GT Euro Tail Lights Install
In this video Jeff installs a set of Euro tail lights on his 2016 Mustang GT. The install is very easy and takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. Rewiring the euro taillights with the US connectors is very easy and only requires simple hand tools to do the installation. The sequential mode with the euro taillights is slightly different with the most outer marker being amber instead of red. These lights provide a fresh look to any US s550 Mustang and if cost is a concern you can always sell your factory lights to recoup the majority of the cost!
These lights are compatible on the 2015 Mustang GT, 2016 Mustang GT, 2017 Mustang GT, and should work on the 2018 Mustang GT as well.

hah, same in Brazil (in my case). Ford Fusion and New Fista Sedan are the only cars with red turnsignals now. The new Camaro and Mustang are now blinking amber (like European models)

The european taillight (white) is cool, but what I do not like is the amber blinkers. I prefer red

In my opinion red look better, you don't see 60's mustangs rolling around with clear tail lights. I'm sure Carroll Shelby would've had something blunt to say about these euro tail lights and he's probably turning in his grave.
Hmmmm idk brother. I think the stock red tail lights are better. Especially on a black car. Those clear euros just makes the car look too plain and boring. Put them stock ones back ASAP.

I have an Australian Spec GT convertible and I have to say I am not a fan of the clear lights.
A lot of the UK Mustang Owners here like the Red :-) myself I like the Euro look but sadly we are NOT ALLOWED the sequential rear light's(Audi and others have them) as they are NOT one continuouse line? and the day time lights at the front again are not allowed as they apparently are not the correct height? so ours are the Fog lights which look silly and cheap again other cars have them at the same height so it sounds like some EU bureaucrat is just a jobs worth made a decision to pacify France and Germany who basically Run us all ,well not for long hopefully!!
Kinda late but better late than never. My importer does a rewiring to make them blink orange sequentiall. Don't know if that's allowed in the UK but at least in Germany it's ok as long as the turn lights are yellow. Have a look: ua-cam.com/video/r323eVjXxDg/v-deo.html

There's a module you can get that'll make them sequential with different settings. It's from EPM

Those look amazing bro.. they almost remind me of the Vectors that ppl are getting for the S197s .. I think they will only compliment certain colors of the S550 tho.. cant say they'd work for all of them
Love the look, but the Amber would keep me from buying them.
I like the new ones when they are on. But when off, I prefer the stock red ones or even better some blacked out/tinted red ones.

Can you install the USA wiring harness on a euro mustang to get the sequential blinker? Does Anyone know how to do this? . I have a euro ecoboost and love the clear but I want it sequential
Jeff what is your opinion on Durashield and other paint protection films? Do you have any experience with it on your cars? I can't help but notice your paint is always flawless. My car is brand new and I'm told the best time is now or never. Thanks.
I like the red but that's just. However given the almost black and white contrast, the euro lights actually compliments the car a lot, so it does look really good. I am sure it looks even better in person. Awesome Jeff
You see Jeff I'm from Australia and when i got my GT S550 they came with the clear taillights and i couldn't wait to remove them and install the red taillights because i wanted to make it look as much as i could like a USA Mustang not the crappy euro clear taillights nice video anyway man.

The lights look cool on your car and I get the look that your after. Most people in A/U and Euro want the red tails but I prefer the white as I think they go well with my white GT. I complimented them with white side markers. Great video btw!

Black paint has got to be the best color for these Euro tail lights. Not sure they'd look good on many other colors. Euro tail lights have really improved since the SN95 era. Was surprised they lit up in red light. That really makes them a winner on your car! Keep the traffic cops in check too! Tintless is a smarter way to go!

Robert Kohut they are sequential, just the third light is amber.
I meant brake, signal and hazard are all sequential. A harness can do that.
