    Have you been wondering how to make a successful Minecraft channel on UA-cam? In fact, should you even bother? What if you have no skills or expensive gear? Not only will I explain how to start a UA-cam channel for gaming in 2021, but I'll explain why the gear and tech you have doesn't matter. (At least not when you're starting out.)
    I started from basically no skills myself. And over the past year and a half I've discovered how to start a UA-cam channel and make money from it too. So if you're trying to start a gaming channel, especially something Minecraft related like I've done, watch this video. Consider it a pep talk :)
    By the end of it, I hope I've motivated you enough to build a channel from nothing, until it becomes a successful channel. Whether that is a large channel and make money from ads, or just a smaller channel but you do it for fun. Or a mixture of both. Ultimately, you have control.
    And if you want to know how to make a Minecraft youtube channel on your phone, ask in the comments. I have a few other UA-camrs that I can recommend that explain everything you need to create and manage a gaming channel on your phone. You can use UA-cam without a computer, and with a phone only. It's possible in 2021. Even a Minecraft channel. This is how to start a UA-cam channel for beginners.

    Hey creators! :) I launched a podcast just for you. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/channels/e4X_e944cxGpahxol0iaZw.html (I strongly recommend Ep 2 on creator burnout!)
    Here's some advice from a very small, definitely-not-a-professional Minecraft UA-camr. Think of it like a pep talk :P
    I don't know if this will help anyone, or motivate anyone. But if it motivates just one person, it was worth making. ... Go out and CREATE. :)

    TRUE WORDS! Last summer I said you know what screw it I'm going for it, after literal YEARS of putting it off because of thinking the bar is so high. I've made friends, had a lot of fun and gotten into a groove of branding and character. JUST DO IT!

      Agreed completely. A basic phone is enough to get started with UA-cam in 2021. Lack of gear, lack of experience ... all those things can be worked on later & aren't blockers.

    Well said, @leigergaming. I don’t know who originally said this, but “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” I’ll add, find people who will support and even challenge you. One of the beauties of Minecraft, and the Minecraft UA-camr community, is that it is by and large a community that supports each other.

  • @alysperia

    I've started a new channel because I feel like I can grow alot faster with all the knowledge I've gained from my previous channel and I won't make mistakes as much
    Your right about keeping improving and you don't need all fancy equipment but if your thinking about a channel for anyone reading this answer this question.
    Are you doing it to be famous and for money or are you doing it for fun because your passionate about it and enjoy it?

    • @LeigerGaming
      @LeigerGaming  3 роки тому +1

      Agreed completely!
      If you do it to be famous and for money only ... you will grow, for a bit. But then you'll grow to hate it and quit anyway.
      Starting from a point of fun, enjoyment and passion is the only way to do it long-term.
      Can you see yourself doing the same thing every week for the next 5-10 years? If not, STILL start a channel, but do it about a topic that you are GENUINELY interested in. Rabbits, snowboarding, reading books, or singing karaoke. Whatever it is, follow your passion & you'll find it easier to do this long-term.

    Agree wholeheartedly with everything you said.
    I just want to add to it.
    Don't be disheartened by numbers
    Don't compare your numbers to similar channels
    In fact don't look at numbers at all, Make the videos you want to watch, jyst do it for the fun of it.
    The numbers come later (well I believe they will 😁)

    • @LeigerGaming
      @LeigerGaming  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, it can be very discouraging if you compare numbers and find that you're underperforming.
      Only compare numbers against your own personal stats, if at all. Don't compare with others.

      That was the goal :)
      As for you, now that you've set a schedule ... try to stick to it. But it looks like you've put a lot on your plate! So if you miss a day, brush yourself off and get back into it a day or two later. It's easy to make one day stretch into 30 days ... I just did that myself last month. Was tough to get back into it at first.

    Hello, another tip for small youtubers: Make content you like watching because
    how you see your videos is likely how other people would see it, since you know your content more than anyone else because you know what to make and why you make it :) God bless you all.

    • @LeigerGaming
      @LeigerGaming  Рік тому +1

      Agreed :)
      The other benefit to making videos YOU also enjoy, is that it reduces the chance of burnout.
      Burnout happens quickly when you are making content to try and chase views, but don't actually enjoy the process.
      I have a podcast ep about burnout too :) Would be interested to hear what you think of it?
