- Second video from this year 24 Hours of Le Mans Test Day. You'll see some shots after the Dunlop Bridge, at the "S de la forêt" and the usual spot at the Tertre Rouge corner. Unfortunately this year I wasn't able to record through the fence because they installed a camera and put guards to prevent me from climbing the small handrail, and then film through the shitty fence ... I'm also sorry for the amount of wind in the video. I hope you'll like the sound and the speed carried by those monsters in the corners ! Enjoy !

The turbos! on those Ferrari's 3:10
Turbo Blowoff is always insane with the Ferraris.
Turbo Ferrari's suck compared to the screaming n.a. Porsche RSR at 9500 rpm. Give me back the old school Ferrari's.

Porsche not dumb, as brilliant the 4.0 is, other areas can be pushed and exploited such as aero. The motor has been shifted forward allowing for an aggressive rear diffuser....love dat ass!
I actually wouldn't mind seeing the IMSA DPi's at Le Mans. They wouldn't be as fast as the LMP1's as evidenced by lap times at Sebring in March where the WEC cars were around 5 seconds faster, but they would be faster than the LMP2's (the DPi's were 1.7 seconds faster in qualifying for the 12 Hours than the LMP2's were for the WEC race).

Both, the C7R and the old (AM) V8 Vantage both have natural aspirated deep sounding V8's.

I'd say its "blow off valve" for want of a better word. When you close the throttle all the boost will want to travel back through to the turbo which can damage it. So it's either released to the atmosphere or circulated to before the turbos intake.

Turbo Liftoff. It’s the Turbochargers releasing their pressure and it always makes that great sound :)
It's the awful farting sound of a turbo motor- that really kills the way Ferrari used to sound. Too Bad, but pretty soon all will be electric when I'm gone I hope..

With Toyota as the only factory lmp hybrid machine it's not fair for them as they've were creditend to put it's rivals at great desire of lmp 1 racing the most favourite Japanese rivalry still goes to the Nissan and Toyota respectively with their R390 and GT one (when they carb exactly 900kg par level to avoid speed maladies) putted much obliteration towards many others putting all this mark the place as number one rivaly from the late nineties to the present day.

You gotta be shittin' me! Nothing sounds better than a screaming 242 cu.in. N.A. engine at 9,500 rpm. Porsche RSR is a 4.0 litre non-boosted banshee putting out 550 h.p. That's what I'm talking about.
That older V8 vantage with the NA 4.5 liter is up there with the Porsche!
