- Welcome to my TARDIS console room! Home to the little red doctor and used in my fan film series. Through the video I give little tips to how some of it was built and I hope you find it useful :) Enjoy!

Still to this day I imagine myself walking into this console room well the most updated console because I love this console so much because even though I grew up with the Matt Smith console I also grew up with the many console rooms used in this series as well

I don't normally watch fan films but I like yours, I've written a lot of fanfic scripts, it'd be so much fun to be in one lol.
I got to be a part of a Ghostbusters fan film a few years ago and even though I had no lines, I still got a few seconds of close-ups. Lots of fun!
Words cannot explain this extraordinary build. Absolutely amazing. This HAS to be a future interior.

Nicely done, although I do miss the "twinkling mushroom of doom" with all those buttons. I miss the thousand button console.

My future was planned out a long time ago.
1.Buy a warehouse
2.Spend about 3 years making an interior by myself. Hopefully I won't get crushed by something
3.Wait another 50 years and hope that before I die I can timetravel back to when I first complete the interior and then help myself with the time travel.
4.Go into the future and team up with 3 super smart people and create a bigger on the inside formula.
5.Hope that everything works and that in one of my Parrellel excistances I break through the wall between the universes and save myself from writing this.
FYI that last really let me down. I have to write this extra FYI section.

You've inspired me to make my own series. I'm just concerned with the console room. You've put so much detail into your console and the room itself that I don't know how to compete without looking like a blatant knock-off. I've probably typed this exact comment on a couple of other videos... I don't remember.

Here's a technical question: what did you use to make the time rotor move? What type of motor, did you use variable power adapters, and does it spin or move up and down?
What would be cool to add for probably "Offline" use is to add speakers inside the console emitting the tardis sound or emergency sound everytime you press a button or pull the dematerialization lever and make the lantern on the tardis light up if it doent already!!!!!!!

How do your levers make the ratchet sound when they're pulled up and down?
The levers on my console just rotate on a piece of dowel, but your demat lever and 60's levers make an awesome sound when you pull them.

....AND the roundels on the bottom of the console can act as filters for the speaker so it isnt muffled by the inner wall of the console surrounding the light fixture area inside the console

Actually the extension from the door to the console room was invented in the show to make it easier to make it look like its bigger on the inside because (If you dont know this and dont want to ruin your believe in that the tardis actually is bigger on the inside dont read more) its not .... Its just a room with a Tardis door and greenscreens on the outside.

Brandon Dyer I lost count with budget! probably close to £1000 but bare in mind it's been revamped twice... you can build a console for cheap, i spent £60 on wood just to get the structure :) and only took a month to build the console, but that depends how much time you have on your hands and how much money :) but thanks!!!
Ahh okay! I'll have too see what that would be in US Dollars....how much was the shed you used? I was hoping to build into one a bit bigger than your's.
Brandon Dyer £1000 is around $1500 USD, give or take a couple of hundred bucks.
