Please hold a warm sterile compress on their eyes for a few minutes and wipe them very gently. They have some eye infection and can go blind permanently from this. Thanks!

The issue is Tom's body smells different from her own kittens
This happened to me once. Somebody dropped kitten on my gateway and fortunately I had mommy cat breastfeeding her 3 kittens. At first the mommy cat refused, but after I rub the orphan kitten's body forcefully to mommy cat's body, then eventually the mommy cat taking this orphan.
a tip: you can watch movies at flixzone. Been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.

Take a blanket she has slept on and gently rub it on kitten to transfer smell.

This is probably hard for her, having to accept a kitten that is not her own probably isn't in her natural instincts.
From watching other videos, mother cats do this all the time. There are tricks. When someone rescues a kitten, getting it to an adoptive mother is critical or else you’ll be feeding and helping it poop every three hours 24/7.

My boy went almost blind cuz of that he has real hard time seeing I tried everything I could including medicine but it would always come back

If you want to accept him, you ned to make sure She smells his behind first, and maybe try to get her feromones from her cheeks on your fingers and then rub them on Tom and then hope If She smells him She will accept him. But dont ever force her to accept him og love him. You can instead risk She will just hate him If you push her.
So a cat is only bad If it does a bad thing like bite, but protection is always a good thing 😁

I feed the strays .they all stay in my yard and play now the kittens are here ,growing like crazy. I have yet to rub or hold one. Ivrub my girlfriend car but I immediately wash my hands right after NO Problem. I really want them in my house. They are so adorable. Oh one of the sister cats has a huge knot on side of her eye. I wanna take her to a Vet, .haven't seen her this month.
Try putting Tom and a couple kittens in another box to mingle for 10 mins and see if he can pick up enough of their scent to soften momma.

They are lovely little kittens, I feel so sorry for Tom being left on his own, he is sad without his friend Jerry. What you want to do, is take one of the mums kittens out of the box and hold it next to Tom, get the scent of all the kittens on Tom`s fur, then you stand a better chance of getting the mother to accept him, if she smells her kittens on Tom.💖😊👍

There is a trick that if you do it she will accept it with no problem.When she sleeps and feeds her kittens put that there also. The moment it drinks milk from her it gets her smell also.Even if she wakes up she will smell it and detect her smell and her milk.She will accept it immediately and even lick it for cleaning.
Leave the kitten sleep with the other kittens when the Mother isn't there, try with that.

The discrepancy in size between babies and older Tom kitten may be more of an issue for Mom than scent. As for kittens' eyes, quite often the flushing of eyes with simple, over the counter, saline solution, from vial stored in refrigerator and kept from touching the kittens'eyes, is all that's needed. Pat exudate gently from eyes with kleenex after flushing. If after 24 hours eyes remain red and draining, then vet appointment needed for (antibiotic) eye ointment.
The smell. The kittens must smell the same way. Then you can sneak in the kitten. This is how you do with sheep, cows, horses.

@@Love4Pets Separate mom from the kittens. Let the four be next to each other and try to stimulate the lower abdomen of the three so that they pee. Then lubricate the 4th with urine. Allow to dry. When the kittens, then go back to the mother now you need another hand ;-) You pat the mother and the third hand puts the kittens who should now smell the same way. Hope it works.

I appreciate you doing a good job here,but trust me, you can do better. The kittens eyes are pretty bad and clearly need cleaning. 2. If you stress mother cat more than she already is, her milk will burn. Literally! Also, stress causes adrenal dysfunction in cats(more in males than females ,but still to consider)and might cause more issues. She needs peace and quiet to continue being a good mom to her kittens. Once you put her scent on him, she might even accept him, but dont push it! You can easily raise the kitten yourself.

I wish with all my heart that this gorgeous boy could feel the warmth and security that the other kittens get from their mother. I agree heartbreaking to watch him playing with wood shavings.. Really need to get him smelling like one of her kittens, either by stroking Her, then rubbing Her smell onto kitty (works best ) as Her kittens smell like Her.. Little and often maybe 4-5 times a day for 5 mins max then when she starts to relax maybe longer time and less frequency and most will accept a kitten equal size age etc, over 90% will accept a younger kitten more easily.. She is doing a great job, will Mother be spade as and when kittens are old enough.. Beautiful Mother and Kittens, will you give the lil kitty some Love and Headbumps from UK ❤️🐾❤️
Once they eat solid food, mother will no longer toilet them. This may be part of the issue. Smell is important. Putting the kittens together apart from mother, then allowing her to enter box gives her more control. She is not bad. You are doing it wrongly.
Birds will accept orphan baby birds. But they do not get alarm if one of their baby bird is missing from nest. They just continue feeding the rest like nothing has happen. Predator can come back and take a baby bird one at a time. Parent bird will not notice the number of baby birds are shrinking until there is none before the parents become confuse. Guess there is a price for awareness in different species. Higher animals will notice and make distinction between theirs and someone else's offsprings.
You shouldn't scold the mother cat for not wanting the kitten...that's a bad way to go and considered to be cruel. Would you want someone shoving a human baby you don't want..probably not. Do things in a positive way. You can be the kitten's mother and raise it by yourself if the mother cat doesn't want to. That's common sense! Good luck with it next time👍
Try rubbing one of the other kittens over Tom and snuggling the babies with him so he can pick up the right smell.

Its the scent probably. Let the kittens interact with mom out of the room, and maybe give the new kitten that blanket theyve been on to sleep on it might help.
I have a strategy that might work:
You can get a towel and rub the mother cat with it all over the place especially the birth area so that the smell of the mother cat gets on the towel. And then rub the same towel on the kitten so that she can smell the same just like the mother. The mother cat might accept the kitten because the first thing they do is smell the kittens.
Once you show update of cleaned eyes and healthy babies - you'll have a thumbs up 🙏❤

I had this issue with an abandoned litter I brought home. I put them in a box with one of my shirts I’d been wearing so they get the smell of me and my sweat on them and I bottle fed them for the first day and a half. After that I put them in with her litter when she was out doing her thing and the other kittens took them in and added their scent. When mama came back she was unsure but she no longer hissed or rejected them, she took them in
It normally takes few days like 3 to 4 days then mother will start licking other kittens ,in few days mother get use to fragrance of other kittens and her kittens fragrance goes into their body it's few days Proses

You can buy over the counter eye antibiotic for cats at pet store. Ty for rescuing the little guys. I too used to be a momma cat.. Now im a Momma Goose lol. Once healed i suggest putting the babies together with orphan ... Mom will likely eventually accept if orphan gets mommas scent. Or have momma and babies use blanket for a day and then give it to orphan to get moms and babies scent. Doesnt always work... But sometimes with work and patience it will.
