I was in high school and had a teacher that knew I did lawn care and had picked up a new commercial war and asked me to come and knock down giant weeds that had grown kind of like this and it took me a few hours but it chewed through acres just fine.
@@Ja-fh8io I run a bad boy Maverick. However let me just say, no one around here has grass THAT tall around here. I live in southern Louisiana, the grass gets very thick in the summer months, kinda tall, but extremely thick. I used to have a Toro, but it was up there in age and it definitely couldn't handle the thick grass without having to adjust the cutting height. Granted, I'm sure having the deck all the way up and taking it down in multiple passes, however I messed up with my comment not taking into consideration about changing the height. However, there's a field running against my property and every so often I'll make a pass to keep that tall crap from hanging over into my yard and getting covered with seeds. The bad boy can handle it, however I find their brand name belts can't handle much strain without getting burn marks or some cuts if not popping. The toro definitely would need a new belt. But it also depends on the blades too. Not all blades are created equal
He was trying to prove a point not asking for your advice everybody knows a bush hog would be much more efficient but he's showing that with a regular mower if you have to do it you can we're not stupid and neither is he

you might need to add a brush hog to your tool collection.... Altoz tracked brush mower or a tracked loader with a brush attachment if they are feasible... You're not making money, you're trying to buy back time.( Money comes to you when you're already established)

LOL dont worry its just mulch lol lol
If u can invest in a ventreck

What kind of blades are you running that can easily knock that stuff down? My lawn mower would have popped a belt in that
Better question is what mower are you using? Anything thats not commercial grade wont stand a chance

That can’t be good for the blades.
