MAN!!! This was by far the BEST show I’ve ever seen. And this is coming from a Latin American who has seen ALL kinds of shows. Mexican, Argentinian, Chilean, Peruvian, Colombian, Puerto Rican, etc... and American shows and I gotta say this show kept me on edge, laughing, crying, shocked....it gave me so many emotions and has impacted me very much. People keep saying Korean dramas are always this sad and I agree. My brother and sister watched Stairway to Heaven when I was maybe 11 (am now 23) and I still remember how sad that was 😭😭😭 I’ll still keep watching these dramas ❤️💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️💕💕 the best of the best!
They didn’t need to do any sexual touching, and yet their love was the strongest. The way they looked at each other, held each other’s hand, hugged, talked, made it so strong, everything they did for each other. They didn’t actually intend to get married. Ae Shin has to claim she was married to him so it was safe for her to enter Japan as an American. But as she put that ring on Eugenes finger she confessed her feelings. These actors are unbelievable. It’s so beautiful how love could be so strong. This drama made me realize I didn’t want to have any sexual tension between my future spouse, I want them to understand me and know who I am. This drama is very historical, and even though the love story was fake it was so good I nearly believed it. It’s so sad because only at the end ae shin calls yujin by his name in the korean way. Before it was always Yujin choi but at the end he died protecting ae shin and korea. It means so much that Ae Shin called him choi Yujin and confirming his korean identity
I just finished watching the last episode. I have never cried this much throughout any episode ever, it felt so painful to watch all of them die, all my favourite characters I had started to love... their struggle, the fight for Joseon and independence will always be remembered. The feelings this drama portrayed are too strong for me to make sense of what I'm talking about right now.
I feel the exact same way. I also have not cried this hard watching anything ever. Tears were streaming down my face and I was sobbing when Eugene died. Why couldn't they humor us with a happy ending for at least Eugene and Ae-Shin--why did they have to torture us with the deaths of basically everyone?? *cries harder*
This was a GREAT series...too many emotions were stirred up and the crazy thing they made us, the viewers, take a step into the flame as well.....Where will the meeting for emotional distraught be held???😢😭😵😱
@@monny1emano I thought GoT was the only show that dare to kill most of its character every season, but damn im wrong as hell, just finished watching this and gotta say, this show managed to beat GoT in term of killing off characters. This show is one of the best show i've ever watched especially bcs im a fan of kim taeri and only watched this because of her at first, but stayed for the story and all, but i actually wished i never watch this show because of the really damn sad ending. That is how much this show broke my heart to pieces...
Its very painful to watch the ending. I literally cried when Eugene was crying with happiness by seeing the photo of him and his wife and when he was talking to Kyle for last time. His love for his wife is truly Amazing. Its just very painful 😔😭
For the first time I watched a relationship so beautiful in every aspect. I love them with all my heart. I can't think straight when I watch something about them. Your video was the first thing I saw after the episode and I cried. I cried. Thank you for this video. Thank you Mr Sunshine. I'm going to meet them in my story that I'm writing, I'm sure.
Mr Sunshine, wow! I was blown away.... The most captivating series with the best actors and cinematography. Absolutely Brilliant! Eugene Choi and Ae Shin' love felt so real...
even with 24 episodes i thought that the storyline was just perfect - the romance, the way the people fight for the country’s independence, just everything. this drama showed how much korea suffered under the japanese and it was heartwarming to see the righteous army doing the right thing and defending for their country nonetheless. esp the scene where the army members imprinted their hands onto the korean flag left such a great impression on me towards them. amazing drama honestly
This tribute is so well made. It's been a year since i finished this drama, but i still come here from time to time to see them. If it was a happy ending, i would have gotten over this quickly.
Such a well made series. The story, direction, acting, the art, it's all so good. Though it's fiction, they made it such that we will believe as if it happened..
She passes away while getting a piggy-back ride walking on the beach...he asks if she's ok but convinces himself maybe she's asleep and he would wake her when they get "there." That scene got me...got me good...
this is so well made!!!!!! my heart is aching but i can't help it but appreciate the beauty of this drama from the characters to the cinematography :( aaaaaaa
This drama can't be measured with stars. It deserves all the stars existing in the universe. One word. Masterpiece. I seriously can't explain in words how much good this drama was. Acting, cinematography, ost, cast and crew, just everything was on point. This last episode made me a hot crying mess.. I can't express how devastated I was in the end and how my heart broke out in a million pieces. I literally lost my senses at the end. Kim EUN Sook deserves a bow. Hats off to her. Only she can make these type of masterpieces. This drama had awoken patriotic feelings in me. Once in awhile these types of dramas are made. I cried my eyes out at each character dying irrespective of who it was. Each character grew onto me so much. I literally mean each and every character. Second female leads mostly annoyed me but here I liked her more than Kim Tae Ri. I don't think I can ever get over this drama. I can say that this drama tops uncontrollably fond, scarlet heart and any other drama in terms of sadness and every other aspect. I absolutely loved it. And just because the actors don't look like cute boys type people are avoiding to watch it. They'll regret it. If you are also having any doubts about watching this drama just throw them out of the window. Ahh.. Writer nim, can't we have one more season? ❤😞
I believe this to be one of the best show/story i've ever watched.. I haven't cried this much for or connected with any character(s) throughout a story like i have with this drama... Honestly such a beautiful show. This show really made me feel a lot of different ways for the characters and they really made me cry, Laugh and even shocked me with how much they developed... Just finished the Finale and there's just so many emotions i'm cycling through right now...
This was too painful seriously it was more painful than moon lovers it's a torture to watch. This drama till the end.. I seriously resent him for using that last bullet wisely..
I loved this show from beginning to end. Blew me away from the get go. The ending was beautifully done, shed manly tears at the last 2 episodes. What a rollercoaster it was, and not an easy picnic like I thought!
I cried so hard on my bed.i wished I can loved someone so dearly like that.i wished I can be Eugene Choi.first of all I would like to congratulate the cast, crew director and all people who is involved in this series.i just wanna say u guys succeed cause u guys make me wanna be like Choi yu jin.thats means ur acting reach us as viewers
Great great drama, couple were a beautiful couple.but they didn't share a kiss in whole drama. But the love of fighting for a cause was a great theme. Loved this drama.
my heart shattered when eugene said that he was going to take a step back, and she should take a step forward. i couldn’t stop crying in that episode...
J'ai adoré cette série , j'ai adoré le jeu des acteurs, j'ai adoré la lumière, les couleurs, les cascades, les costumes, j'ai adoré la bande originale, j'ai visionné 3 fois cette merveille !
how hard an sad and breaking heart was their story !!!! I absolutely love this drama but it aches so much the end.... different of any kind of love we are used to. So unique. So worth each second watching. So mesmerizing work in every domain. Well done dear coreans !
I hate that the characters have to die in the last two episodes. It's all flowers and fireworks for the first 20 episodes then its all thorns and bombs on the last ones. The deaths should have been equally distributed, there are 24 episodes for god's sake. Oh my poor, fragile heart!
hAhahahHAHAHAHhahahaha BEST COMMENT . LOVE IT. ALL PEOPLE COULDN'T NOTICE THIS ONLY BUT HUGE MISTAKE OF THIS DRAMMA. THEY OVERDID IT TRYING A SAD ENDING. CONGRATS CUTIE.!!! I found myself Loving you Because of your intelligence. Please contact me I wanna b YOUR FRIEND (I hope you ar a Girl). And I see you Are new in UA-cam or did you hide your contents..??
They wanted to keep the viewers in until the end. Like Gu Dong Mae’s feelings towards Ae Shin, we kept holding on to hope that they’ll make it through but it was all in vain. This is why this drama is very well-made, they really built all the characters so we deeply cared about them that when they died, we are left a wreck.
The best drama so far... love every character.... I cried and cried and cried.. they lived in so difficult/hard times nothing comes easy for them....so well portrayed.... love every scene
Lee Byung-Hun has been one of my favorite actors for years. But I put off watching this drama. I had no clue what I was missing. It was awesome. The best drama ever for me. He should be an international star. Hollywood typed cast him to the typical karate guy. Though he was an awesome Storm Shadow in G. I. Joe. But this man has amazing acting abilities. This was a perfect cast. The three male leads, Choi, Dong Mae and Hee- Sung were just fantastic. Hina and Ae-Shin were great. You felt all the characters. You felt like you were on this amazing sad journey with them. I love how the series gave us a clue all along with saying sad ending. This is a masterpiece.
An amazing drama! Episodes 23 & 24 so sad. The acting, the sets, everything about this drama, world class. I still feel blue after watching the finale! So well done!
Their first handshake... it's so beautiful reaction from both of them, simple yet heartwarming... i even look at my hand as if i felt it too.. My heart hurts so much.. i love all the cast members. They bring the character into life😘
this show.... this drama.... the part of history that it tells... the love.. I am not able to watch the last episode..... it took a hold of my heart and it's still squeezing it hard.
Another first class series from South Korea. Awsome cast, wonderful acting by everyone involved. Every series I watched so far from South Korea have been amazing. So enjoyable it's sad to see them end. These are some wonderful actors who make every series so believable ad enjoyable. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
I've never cried for 15 mins. straight watching a kdrama ending and trust me I've watched alot of kdramas. I don't think I'm ready to watch a new drama just yet. 24 episodes of masterpiece. This drama will hold a special place I'm my heart. One of my fave. One of the best Korean Historical Drama there is. 👍👍👍
I knew it would be a sad ending the fact that Lee Byung Hun always choose a project wherein he dies at the end of the story. Like: Single Rider Memories of the Sword Bungee Jumping of their Own Joint Security Area Iris Plus the writer of Globlin and Descendant of the Sun either creates a lucklastered ending or sad ending as it leaves long lasting empression, which takes toll on viewers and will keep wanting for more series since you didn’t have a good closure
Robert Selagon oh 😂😂😂 then you shouldn’t have read my comment in the 1st place so you wont find out, it was your choice, and you choose to find out anyway. 😂😂😂
you didn't post any spoiler tag and just type them anyway...remember not all of us watched them yet and may watch them in the future..next time don't be an inconsiderate douche and be mindful of others
i think that due to its not so happy ending for aesin and eugene that left viewers broken hearted.... the writer, producer, director, lee byun hun and kim tae-ri owes its viewer a sequel perhaps an after life story of aesin and eugene
For those who haven’t watching this drama yet and probably considering either to watched it or not, let me say that I totally recommend you to watch it. There’s no kissing scene like you probably expected, but they have the purest form of love in here, the best friendship one could ever asked for. Great cinematography, great story line, amazing casts and heartbreak no one saw coming! 10/10 🌟🌟🌟 And, in case you still didnt convinced with my point; just remember the fact that this drama is listed among top10 highest viewed kdrama for tvn/cable tv; it’s truly live up to its reputation!
wow this show is too good....I was captivated from the very beginning. I mean 3 mins into the first episode. That's how good this show is. On to episode 2 hahahahaha
I love this drama so much. I am in so much pain after watching the whole drama huhuhuhuhuhuhu. They were already hinting of the “sad ending” but I still hoped for a happy ending. However it was still one of the most amazing Kdramas I have ever watched!!! Made me cry so many times huhuhuhu ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you for this video. It’s beautiful 💖
Korea, you and your shows are outstanding 👏🏼 this is coming from a Pakistani French who has seen different types of dramas but THIS ONE was EVERYTHING. the last scene where ae sin Is saying good bye with the flag on the background made me realize that she was on her own with no gu dong Mae, yu Jin, Hina and so on... also the scene where the interpreter is saying the names of the men who died and the tear coming from the emperor was too much for me 😭😭 I m gonna fall Into depression. It broke my heart that such a deep love like ae sin and yu Jin had to end. But also how strong ae sin is.

Their love was so great yet excruciatingly painful and it makes me so sad and gave me a lot of anxieties. After I watched all episodes I watched it again but I only watched those happy moments of Eugene and lady Aesin...such an amazing drama...

It's a global masterpiece. The story, acting, directing, and soundtrack-everything is flawless, making it the perfect classic.
This Is perhaps the best love story I’ve ever watched. So attracted to this couple.
This was a GREAT series...too many emotions were stirred up and the crazy thing they made us, the viewers, take a step into the flame as well.....Where will the meeting for emotional distraught be held???😢😭😵😱
monny1emano because Ae-Shin was chosen. Everyone sacrificed for her, and this is why Korea is Korea, sacrificing. It was so sad
@@qwertyuiop5613 ..check empress ki ...except the female lead....not a single charachter lived ...any charachter u remember had been killed ...
Its very painful to watch the ending. I literally cried when Eugene was crying with happiness by seeing the photo of him and his wife and when he was talking to Kyle for last time. His love for his wife is truly Amazing. Its just very painful 😔😭
The male is showing versatile acting,if this show get oscar it would have become more wow❤❤❤he is just masterpiece
This is a beautiful tribute. Today I cried with last episode. So beautiful made and as we expected yu jin would sacrifice for her. sad :(
even with 24 episodes i thought that the storyline was just perfect - the romance, the way the people fight for the country’s independence, just everything. this drama showed how much korea suffered under the japanese and it was heartwarming to see the righteous army doing the right thing and defending for their country nonetheless. esp the scene where the army members imprinted their hands onto the korean flag left such a great impression on me towards them. amazing drama honestly
For the last three episodes of this drama I was a mess. I once again find myself crying during this video. This was beautifully done - thank you.
I was thinking that ending would be usual but it was full of patriotism and sacrifices
Itz aman jot Cyngh i didnt even though Eugene will be dead 😭
This tribute is so well made. It's been a year since i finished this drama, but i still come here from time to time to see them. If it was a happy ending, i would have gotten over this quickly.
That show was amazing. And that last episode! So emotional. Best TV show I have seen in a very long time. Thank you Monny1emano for this video.
Such a well made series. The story, direction, acting, the art, it's all so good. Though it's fiction, they made it such that we will believe as if it happened..
It should be a sad ending because they have been talking about real history... They had to fight until 1945.
one of the greatest korean dramas ive ever watched 😭😭😭
Loved this drama.
my heart shattered when eugene said that he was going to take a step back, and she should take a step forward. i couldn’t stop crying in that episode...
such an epic love story.......EuShin will 4ever remains in my heart!!
Mesmerizing, a tale of true love, didn't expect the ending but it just made it so much more special. Beautiful acting and scenery !!!
Hi, it's been almost 1 and a half year and I am still here, still getting the chills, still getting emotional and still having this drama in my heart!
J'ai adoré cette série , j'ai adoré le jeu des acteurs, j'ai adoré la lumière, les couleurs, les cascades, les costumes, j'ai adoré la bande originale, j'ai visionné 3 fois cette merveille !
THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND HEARTBREAKING THING I’VE EVER WATCHED!😭💔 this is so painful...their story is so painful....😭😩
My husband and I just finished last night- finally! Wow. I was in tears. What a heartbreaking ending. But such a well done movie! It was beautiful.
this type of romance series are what i love
how hard an sad and breaking heart was their story !!!!
Elvi the viewers wouldve lost interest if the characters gradually died, it wouldve been too predictable, but i get where ur coming from
Are spoilers allowed?
Me too..i thought I'd die from the pain in the last episode 😭😭
This is so good💖😭 it's like I'm watching the drama all over again😩
You’ve got the best tribute of this drama. Two thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you for doing this video compilation. It still hurts me like a lot. Mr Sunshine is the best drama ever/
The best drama so far... love every character.... I cried and cried and cried.. they lived in so difficult/hard times nothing comes easy for them....so well portrayed.... love every scene
This edit is just beautiful...
It just broke me again, awesome edit
I'm two years late to the party but heck this show is fantastic. The last two episodes made me cry a loooot 😭
My favourite series 😍. Thank you for editing so beautifully 😍😍😍
An amazing drama! Episodes 23 & 24 so sad. The acting, the sets, everything about this drama, world class. I still feel blue after watching the finale! So well done!
Im still crying over this drama
This was such a roller coaster ride and i just can't seem to get off of it😭😭😭😭
soooo amazing!! I cried a lot ! So beatiful, this is my favourite korean drama. Perfectly
Their first handshake... it's so beautiful reaction from both of them, simple yet heartwarming... i even look at my hand as if i felt it too..
My heart hurts so much.. i love all the cast members. They bring the character into life😘
this show.... this drama.... the part of history that it tells... the love.. I am not able to watch the last episode..... it took a hold of my heart and it's still squeezing it hard.
amazing acting of Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung Hun, their eyes gazing, facial expression, just simply amazing
You are one helluva talented person. The love story is great for sure but you just made it epic!
Superb performances by the main characters especially by #leebyunghun. Yes, the best drama, so far.
Like:
Single Rider
Memories of the Sword
Bungee Jumping of their Own
Joint Security Area
Iris
Plus the writer of Globlin and Descendant of the Sun either creates a lucklastered ending or sad ending as it leaves long lasting empression, which takes toll on viewers and will keep wanting for more series since you didn’t have a good closure
폴Spurs did he die?
폴Spurs what movie do you know about him wherein he didn’t die? I have already watched the Masquerade and Addicted as well
thanks for spoiling those movies you ingrate
Robert Selagon oh 😂😂😂 then you shouldn’t have read my comment in the 1st place so you wont find out, it was your choice, and you choose to find out anyway. 😂😂😂
you didn't post any spoiler tag and just type them anyway...remember not all of us watched them yet and may watch them in the future..next time don't be an inconsiderate douche and be mindful of others
My most unforgettable kdrama... So endearing, the love that is so enduring.., ah, Eugene Choi to the last breath. ❤️😂
Loved this. I smiled, laughed, clapped, and cried a lot. This is one of the best shows I have ever watched.
I never cried as much at the actual show until I saw this edit. The feels washed over hard on me ughh
Here I am in almost 2022, still remember how painful & beautiful this drama is
I just finished watching the series, and the last episode was tear jerker, wow this was the most intimate historic love stories. I've ever watched
where did you watch it?
@@syasya2229 Netflix
i think that due to its not so happy ending for aesin and eugene that left viewers broken hearted.... the writer, producer, director, lee byun hun and kim tae-ri owes its viewer a sequel perhaps an after life story of aesin and eugene
Florante Baengan I agree sir
REINCARNATION! I NEEEEED IT!
But she's not dead...lol
Javee most likely she is, being a rebel tends to get you killed
For those who haven’t watching this drama yet and probably considering either to watched it or not, let me say that I totally recommend you to watch it. There’s no kissing scene like you probably expected, but they have the purest form of love in here, the best friendship one could ever asked for. Great cinematography, great story line, amazing casts and heartbreak no one saw coming! 10/10 🌟🌟🌟
And, in case you still didnt convinced with my point; just remember the fact that this drama is listed among top10 highest viewed kdrama for tvn/cable tv; it’s truly live up to its reputation!
😊😊😊❤
One of the best Korean TV show I have ever seen. This shows broke my heart.
wow this show is too good....I was captivated from the very beginning. I mean 3 mins into the first episode. That's how good this show is. On to episode 2 hahahahaha
I destroyed me too 💔 I woke up today without any will to get up, I just want to lie in bed and nurse my broken heart.
Amazing Drama, I expirience all kind of emotions while watching this show, broke my heart nobody got a happy ending.💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭
This is not a love story. This is a story about love
😊😊😊😊❤
es excelente no tiene quien lo iguale , todo su trayecto como artista es unico
Discovered this drama after watching Kim Tae Ri in Twenty Five Twenty One and she impressed me again in Mr.sunshine. what a chemistry between lead couple!
I’m the opposite. Watched Mr Sunshine first and got to know her amazing acting talents. Then decided to watch 2521 because of her cuz I believe she knows what she’s doing by picking high quality scripts
@@itsnotif.itswhen now she did another insane performance in revenant...literally had to portray 4 character situations in one role and she did it flawlessly...one of the best actors out there
One of the best drama that I have watched lately. It made me cry so much. 😥😥👍👍
korea history is sad.
I just finished this recently and I'm so proud bcoz I got to see this. Such an amazing drama which I witnessed the best romantic moves. Even without a kiss scene they just nailed it and prove holding hands could be beautiful too. : )
Their love was so great yet excruciatingly painful and it makes me so sad and gave me a lot of anxieties. After I watched all episodes I watched it again but I only watched those happy moments of Eugene and lady Aesin...such an amazing drama...
Same here
Thank you for again making an awesome fmv of mr sunshine 😍
This video is absolutely brilliant breast taking heartbreaking interesting inside all in one but also reminds me of when I watched it a few years ago how great Mr Sunshine was in this lady sin it was a brilliant movie I thought that it was bloody fantastic it's just a pity the three men ended up dying in the end and she was the only one who was left thank you for letting us see a different version of this video make this music video did a very great job thank you so much❤🎉😊🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️🔥💥
The best k-drama!
I finished this drama today and damn i was a mess .. I literally cried throughout the last episodes, Gu dong mae, hee sung, Yujin 😭😭😭😭😭😭 i kept on saying No please just let them live please and our strong Kudo hina . This show was just beyond epic
What a beautiful job!!! I cried several times for being a very well-made and beautiful story. Really a kdrama that can't be missed. It was really breathtaking. This one is definitely a MUST watch. One word to describe everything about this kdrama is badass💯 Its like sitting down for 4-courses meal but receiving 10-courses that were delicious and satisfying far beyond expectations.
One of the most kdrama i've seen. This kdrama left the pains in my chest. Im in love with the storyline, the actors, chemistry, realistic, emotions, beautiful setting, ost... I can feel the pains by their teary eyes and movements. This is masterpiece. Finally all i can say is WOW. Im hooked!!! Thanks to all those who in one way or another achieved something so beautiful. Kdrama to the new level. Highly recommended!!!!
100/10

okay... that was amazing, even though I have no idea how the story goes, it almost brings me to tears. now I want to watch Mr. Sunshine thanks to this amazing fanmade video.
