Sorry to those who have requested me to make the next FMV between Dong-Mae and Ae-Shin. I know it's SUPER late but I have been busy with school and work BUT HERE YOU GO! It is longer than other MR. SUNSHINE's fmvs I've made because I wanted to include all/most of the scenes of Dong-Mae. This is like a tribute to the amazing role/character, and actor Yeon-Seok Yoo.

I think I rooted the most for Dong Mae's happiness and life. He's my fave character of the drama. I cried the hardest when he died, tho all their deaths were heartbreaking. Best drama of life. I've never gotten over it yet.

There's really something on Yoo Yeon Seoks eyes. It can tells you emotions without even saying a word. Its really expressive ! Gu Dong Mae is Iconic. Until now, when I watched a fmv like this , I still feel sad for the characters.
This man loved only one woman until the end of his days since he was a child, even knowing that it was an impossible love.
All three deaths were so very sad, but Dong Mae’s love & death for her was the most heartbreaking. He loved her the longest knowing she would never love him back. He was also the one she misunderstood the most. They both hurt each other when they were young, and too much pride to openly forgive each other.

This drama was absolutely beautiful. The actors were so likeable but Go Dong Mae was obviously my favourite Yoo Jung Seok plays his role so well. I cried when it ended because he was so hurt. The other characters took you along this wonderful story and I was absolutely bereft when it finished 😊😊😊
Can we have them as a main couple for a happy ending drama??😭🙏🏻 because somehow they look so good together
I rooted for Dong mae the most. I cried only & only for him. Nvr thot wud see the otherwise soft cool polite Yeon Seok in such a role. He is stunning & outstanding as Gu Dong mae.

My life changed from the moment i found out that human brain cannot differenciate between the death of a loved fictional character and the death of a real loved one. It's the same pain. And this is equally beautiful and distrubing.
I watched this drama few months ago but now my tears is falling again after watching this Vdo. Dong Mae was my favorite character from Mr. Sunshine

i cried my eyes out. it was too painful to watch the last episode. i really hope they regain freedom from japan and live a happy life bcs all of them deserve all the love and happiness. the chemistry between Eugene and Aeshin are really something, although there's no kissing scene. for me, Mr. Sunshine is the best K-drama so far. a masterpiece.
I agree the romantic scenes was so clean and pure, it makes your imagination wonder what if .
I watched this drama because of Yoo Yeon-Seok (Dong Mae) and love him even more after watching this. Adding to my list are his projects before and after Mr. Sunshine. Stalking his IG and YT channel too. :-)

Of her three suitors, I believe Dong Mae loved her the deepest and sincerest. He certainly loved her the longest. After the life he had led as a butcher's son and treated like trash, AeShin helped him out of his village. Telling him every life was precious. It was his first experience of kindness and he never forgot it. But, as times changed in Joseon, his why of thinking did not. The woman did what the man said without question. That was definitely not AeShin. She lived life incumbered by such restraints, she would have live such a life as men. He thought by cutting her hair off, she would have been too humiliated to go back out in public again. As Hina said Seems he can't seem to ground his black bird. All three men loved and died for her. Yet, she went on her way, as though nothing happened.
That really bother me that all three of them died like that because of her cause. Also I still can't get over the hotel owner dying either.
I know that they will never end up together but I still root for them!
i missed every scene of Both of them....he created a unique chemistry

Truly a beautiful , powerful and moving story and the actors are superb . Never tired of watching it over and over again. Congratulations to the cast , directors , producers and all people behind the production . Marvelous 👍👍👍

Excelente actor y extraordinaria interpretación del personaje, la serie ya la he visto 3 veces, creo que este personaje retrata perfectamente la injusta diferencia de clases que puede definir la amarga personalidad, resultado del desprecio recibido que marca y hiere el alma, pero que en escencia sus sentimientos afloran y las comunica torpemente con la aspereza con la que aprendió de la vida, aún cuando se dirige al primer contacto amable, inocente y compasivo con el que se topa en la infancia después de que su madre abusada no fue protegida por su padre por el nulo derecho a reclamar por su condición social; el personaje dice odiar a los militar y a la clase alta, pero protege al débil en el personaje de la muda, que representa tal vez su sentimiento ahogado, a la vez que desprecia la vida de quienes abusan de las personas que consideran inferiores y en sus emociones tortuosas y confundidas mata y hace su propia justicia, aunque se lástima una y otra vez reconociendose como una mala persona, por eso en su complejo insuperable no se atreve más que a rozar la falda de Ae Shin la sujeta como un acto de rebeldía al mismo tiempo de aferrarse a la vida que una vez más ella le ofrece como una nueva oportunidad, como cuando en su desesperada infancia ella lo protege dentro del "palanquin". Y cuando corta el cabello de Ae Shin es tan simbólico aunque lo único que entiendo de eso, parece tener un contenido significativo en el cabello a cerca de su origen y honor que heredan de sus antepasados. Definitivamente una de las mejores historias, dirección e interpretación de los personajes y una exquisita selección de la música con esa voz desgarradora 💔 de Ha Hyunsang.

In the past, Koreans thought that hair was also handed down by their parents, growing it and cherishing it. Shame on short hair and thought Ae-shin wouldn't be out there
