Another really useful video, although the bit about them changing the design of the sotar head had me taking a good look at mine to see whic it was :D fairly sure I have the older version.
I'm working on a video to cover this, the first thing to do is clean it properly, look at the tip for damage under a magnifier, is there a needle bearing in the airbrush ?
Thank you for your comment, may be spray airbrush cleaner through during the time you are painting to keep the nozzles clear, or blast the paint more often will help.
As can be seen in the video it as the screw in type part number R-0023 Screw (Needle Seal Adjuster & Seal) the Badger Sotar manufactured after September 2018 is fitted with this seal / needle bearing
Nota, se l'ago lo modifico e gli tolgo la parte posteriore nera del Sotar 20/20, e rimane diritto senza rotondità posteriore, e lo posso infilare da davanti avendo lo stesso diametro assiale, cosi' infilando da davanti non rovino niente, vedo che da dietro con mano non ferma c'e' il rischio di rovinare la punta e piegarla, cosa ne pensa?, io ho 12 aerografi comprati in 34 anni che li uso, dai cinesi Fendga marchiati e non, Artesania Latina, Vivaz 200, ai giapponesi RichPen, Olimpos, Iwata, e tedesco H&S Infinity CR Plus, e copie non marchiati di ditte inglesi Airfix e Vivaz del Badger 250 e 150, oltre che hai Badger Renegade RK-1 Krome nuovo, e al nuovo Passche questo purtroppo ago si infila da dietro, ma penso di modificarlo rettificando il mm.0,15 circa decimi di millimetro misure italiane. Il Paasche purtroppo i 3 aghi 0,25-0,38,-0,66 non hanno il tubetto trasparente di riparo che mi sto facendo io per conto mio in auto costruzione. Buon lavoro e seguo i suoi video molto interessanti.

any recommendations for when the airbrush paint cup is bubbling or when the airflow is stuttering

I find the nozzles block up with a build up of paint in them. more so then other types. so you need a realy good cleaner to clean.

What kind of needle bearing does this airbrush have. Is it so that the models before 2018 have a PTFE seal like the 150?

Two different airbrushes the Badger 150 is suction feed, the Badger Sotar is a detail gravity feed airbrush
