@safe space that.... actually makes sense. Kung Lao was bad Cage was bad, they can't nerf the ninjas too badly or people will start to accuse them. Shang Tsung was nerfed and Erron Black was nerfed. Gears was pretty much buffed
@@solsun7350 Did you notice that the only 2 black males in the game were never nerfed? Jax is probably the most broken and cheap character in the game and he hasn't been nerfed since release. Geras was "nerfed". That looked like an actual buff to me. Geras is basically untouched too. Jacquie is also black and they never nerfed her significantly. Whilst Cassie was nerfed just a while ago.

there are several issues with johnny:
1.they should fix his whiffing bugs
2.he definitely needs more krushing blows
3.they should change his krushing blow requirements (for ex. his F43 should be a punish to be krushing blow)
4.he needs at least a single overhead (like D'vorah's F4)
5.they should make his pissed off move a command grab and add it to his 3rd variation

I main liu kang and always switch against Johnny.
His spacing is really good. Strangley despite being lower tier, Johnny is really good against Liu. His spacing beats liu's easy. Liu has to play really unsafe and throw out flying dragon kicks or just hold block and wait for Johnny to come in again

I think that Johnny Cage is kind of an easy character to pick up, but hard to master, I just picked him up yesterday, and while it took me a bit of time for the the basics, crushing blows and large combos are harder

I think his 1st is better. You have a counter, a buff that doubles your block damage delt, and an attack that changes when blocked (high-mid-unblockable)
