Thank you for your video. I’ve made a ton of flags over the years. Not too many of this size. I’m old school and I don’t mass produce them. That’s why I still use the Dremal tool for the stars. Recently I was at a local craft show where I sold out of the hand carved flags. The ones that were painted didn’t sell all that well. I do like the hangers that you put on them. I’ll remember that trick. Thanks again
Nice video thanks, I was wondering what color red do you use. Thanks
Nice techniques about the burn and staining. Awesome video
Thanks 👍
Mike, thank you for sharing. You are an awesome dude. I love your spirit. Keep it up, brother.❤❤
Hey thanks brotha. If you ever build one, send me a pic. I’d love to see it!
Thanks looking great ..
We have a lot of Americans traveling north into Canada 🇨🇦 I'll make some up here.
Heck ya! That’s awesome!
Thank you! My father served this county for 21 years in the army and 5 years in Vietnam would love to display a flag in honor of his service I make thing out of wood already so this technique will help me in producing one of your flag by me
Oh so your dad was a child killer and rapist ..nice
@William Jones no he was this because are government sent him there and your mother gave birth to a dirt bag
@@michaelcantu1766 he chose to go ..lots of MEN refused to go ..as I said he chose to kill babies and rape women ..truth hurts and that explains why you lashed out ..stay frosty and accept the truth for what it is ..
@William Jones dude you a judge to say what men did over there your the one that should eliminated from this earth
That's super cool to hear! Your father is a great man. Post a pic of it when you're done. I hope this video inspired you to make one. this is why I created it. I want more red, white, n blue out there. Show a friend that's interested this video any time. Take care.
Why not use tack spray on stencil to help hold the stencil not to move and prevent paint from, being runny under the stencil 😊
Oh yes so much better
Awesome vid bro! The last minute made my eyesballs sweat a little bit 😀
Awesome. Share it as much as you want.
Great video! Where is a good source for the polishing wheel? Keep up the great work!
I guess Scott don’t like to talk huh lol. Awesome Flag!!
Lol No, he's more for support I'll get him talking someday.
Great video
Hey thanks man!
Great video, just wondering in the video you use a 1x12 but in the materials you say a 1x8x8, was it a typo or cutting more strips from the rest of the 1x8x8?
How much do you charge for a flag that size.
I think we charge $60-$70 depending on what platform you buy it from.
Are you planning to do a video for the 19.5" x 36" flags? Do you use a 1x12 cut down to the dimensions for that flag? Or just stick with the 13 - 1x2s?
I might make one in the future for that size.
Awesome video! What color blue are you using? Thanks!
Thank you! I use navy blue.
Thanks
I have reservations w Poly lol everytime I’ve used it Ives gotten some sort of issue w haze or something that ruined my project and I had to redo it lol
Do you use oil or water based poly? Also how do you apply it?
@@cedarsense1753 last time was just a water based top coat from “Old Masters” - Dunn Edwards house brand - I tried Rolling, brushing, foam roller & foam brush over stained Cedar - it sat for over 4 days for stain to cure and still got milky haze in some spots - I know it’s not technically “Polly” but had similar issues before-
What color white did you use. Great video
Antique white
What type of wood do you use for you flags ?
What size stiles are u using for stars
I can’t remember off hand for that size. I’ll have to get back to you on that.
I want to make a us flag 77" x 62" for a truck bed cover
That is a great idea!!!
I know the blue is 5 1/4" tall but how wide is it? I can use my laser to cut a stencil.
I’m not sure off the top of my head. I’ll have to check on it n get back to ya.
Where did you buy the counterweights?
I’m not quite sure what you mean by counterweights…. Can you be a little more specific?
What type of wood do you use for you flags ?
