Having been in Patricia’s shoes I applaud the team that believed her and secured a conviction. I wish this was more commonplace. I really hope she manages the trauma it gave her. Sadly I wasn’t but I’ve learned to love and I’m now a trainee forensic scientist. I made good of the bad. ‘Patricia’ you’re a strong survivor and you are amazing.

You have my deepest sympathy for the trauma, the aftermath of dealing with it & especially not being taken seriously & supported. It sounds like you've managed your trauma successfully & created a good life for yourself. I sincerely hope this is so & you manage to maintain a happy balance in your life. It's wonderful that you turned things around, so to speak, & got a career out of it. Well done you. 👍 All the best to you & yours, hoping ya'll stay healthy & safe. ☮️💜 from 🇨🇦

You expect a crime-loving, criminal-coddling Leftist state like Oregon to severely punish crime? If anything, the state would seek to mitigate that vile humanoid's crime as much as possible! Criminals and criminality in these morally bankrupt and corrupt Leftist states have far more value than victims, even in the case of a very innocent, precious victim like a baby 😡

Ok, not good, so what about public awareness campaign. Don't go to the cops since they're useless, don't say it to anyone personally. But print posters "So-and-so raped me on the (date)", add picture (his, not yours!), glue that on his house' walls at night, use good glue and good paper so it's hard to clean, make sure you don't get nicked coz that'd be stupid, repeat the glueing when he's managed to clean up his wall. And repeat and repeat etc. Also, try & get hold of his relatives' and colleagues' phone numbers (and his boss/es), hide your mobile number and send them a warning text, also repeat so they get fed up with him who brings that to them. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, and so does a woman.

so i found that the mom/mom-type (grandma, aunt, ect) has to follow up. when i was much much younger, a woman i was interested in sent me to check on her little one. i looked, saw him sleep, went back, and told her. she was with her sister. they both raised concern; "he might've been laying there dead, when you check on a baby, you check him, breathing, warm,..." ect. i thought i did it right. fortunately they followed-up. in a parallel situation, i was holding an infant cousin, and seemingly to me, out of nowhere, she started crying. i took her straight to my aunt in the other room. my aunt took the baby, the put her in one arm, and warmed-up a bottle with her other hand, all effortlessly, and all was restored. my aunt poked a little fun at me; "is that why you brought her to me?". i admit, i was scared except i knew my aunt was there.

He will likely serve life, and if it is any consolation, convicts who harm children are the lowest of the low in prison. He will likely be doing hard time regardless of where he is imprisoned.
Regarding a full life term, most U.S. prisons are already overcrowded housing non-violent convicts (read easy collars for police and easy convictions for D.A.).
While it it may feel emotionally satisfying to imprison someone for life, the important thing is to keep them in prison until they no longer pose a threat.
it costs to house an inmate for life? On average it is $40,000 a year. However, as they become elderly that cost goes up significantly.

@@Moodboard39, there are sentencing guidelines. These are set by the legislature. A judge is not all powerful and hand down any sentence he or she likes.
He can only apply for parole after 25 years. If was 35 when he was sentenced, for instance, he will not even be able to APPLY for a parole until he is 60. From my understanding, the vagina actually expands during arousal like one of those balloons used to make balloon animals, so the cervix is farther back if you're horny. I still have a shallow vagina but if I wasn't into it and didn't lubricate it became very painful, especially if the guy was long. Being an escort sucked because of that.
