I’m half Japanese, and when I was around 9 years old our family went to Disney sea as a surprise for the kids, and riding this was one of the best experiences of my childhood. Even though I’ve only ridden this coaster once, watching this now I can say it’s my favourite roller coaster of all time, it’s just so beautifully designed. Now today I’m almost 18, and I’m 100% going to take my future wife and children to Disney Sea to experience this ride again.
If you go Tokyo Sea, spend at least 3 days here. I spent 4 but wanted 6, yeah seriously. This park is the best, most themed park I've ever seen and I've been to pretty much everywhere. Go. You will not regret it.
Smith I've been wanting to go here for the longest time! Compared to all the Disney Parks in North America, this park blows the others out in terms of originality and creativity
I went just 1 day to disneysea, it wasn't too busy. We did almost all rides, and the ones we loved the most, 2 or 3 times. It was great, but 1 day was enough for us. This ride was definitely my favorite!
I’m going to tell my story of riding this almost 2 years ago! What happened is, my family was waiting in line. 1.5 hours in, we were so tired and told our parents we should just leave the line. My dad said, “No! We are staying here because you might regret not riding it!” So then we got to the mine elevator part. You actually went underground for this and that whole elevator set the mood! When I saw that the ride carts looked like “Victorian mine carts” I was stunned! The best part was that, me and my mom sat in the front row of the cart. Well her legs are bigger than mine, and there is only a single lap belt that went over. So I had a HUGE gap and wasn’t secured in the ride really at all! Well the gems are STUNNING in real life, it was so cool to see all the colors and the cave spirals, and look at the different bugs. And the lightning strikes were loud and wow! It was so slow that you could look at everything (it was very genius because you had time to set in the mood and feel like you were really there, it also made the fast part so unexpected and brought up the suspense and thrill!) so when we took that wrong turn, I saw that lave monster! It was SO close and SO scary in real life! Then all the sudden we sped up so quickly, and when we came out of the volcano, again since I had a huge gap, I flew up in the air! I was shocked with thrill and thanked my dad so so much for making us ride it! It was the best experience of my life, and I highly recommend that if you visit Japan, DON’T MISS THIS RIDE!
It's a wonderful ride, but, spoiler alert..... although it gives the illusion of going down the elevator actually takes you up to the top of the mountain.
I took this ride once during a business trip. I had some time in a Saturday before catching a night flight but I had about 2 hours of sleep the night before. Unfortunately that meant I was semi conscious throughout much of my visit! Intending to take my kids there so I can relive the moment. But yes, this was a great ride and worth the wait
i have been here for a week with my family. my mom and sister was at the back me and my dad was in the front. my mom expected it to be like a slow ride that showedcool gems and other things. well that all came down hill when the monster screamed and it was super fast, my sister started to scream really loud so as my mom! since i didnt go to the bathroom before he ride, i almost pissed myself but didnt. my mom and sister were shaking rapidly, i also recommend this ride as it is sooo fun

This ride looks absolutely ASTONISHING at night. The volcano smoking is a great effect,and looks absolutely beautiful. I REALLY hope I can go to Disney Tokyo in some point of time. The park just looks amazing and very well detailed. It's too bad I don't know Japanese, but I'm sure they get plenty of American guests so they're probably used to English speaking guests.
just went there today! i can say that you won’t find many english people, but you get the gist of what they’re saying. some speak more english than others, but everyone is very helpful.
@@anam8or oh yeah, that's a given with foreign travel, they're going to speak their native language haha. But it looks like a gorgeous park, all of the Disney parks outside of America seem to do a lot better job with the space they have for whatever reason. More care and dedication, it seems.

Oh my god. This is it! I've always thought someone should make an indoor dark ride/outdoor/coaster hybrid ride, and now here it is! This is awesome! Why do the Asian Disney parks get all the best rides???
This opened at the same time frame as California Adventure, Animal Kingdom, and Walt Disney Studios Park and they're all no where near on par with this park. It's not about time, it's about money, all of the Asian Disney parks are either owned or semi-owned by companies other than Disney, companies willing to fork out the money that Disney isn't prepared to invest. Tokyo Disney Resort isn't even owned by Disney at all, and it's probably the greatest Disney Resort in the world in terms of ride quality.
That makes you think about what they would/could build there in collab with Disney if there was any space left... I heard that there are projects to creat new land for the parks in the Tokyo bay though.
Absolutely LOVED this ride! Especially because my friends nor I knew about the accelleration towards the end so we were super surprised. Hillarious. Out of all the attractions at both Tokyo Disney Resort and Disney Sea this one stayed with me the most
just rode this last week and was blown away that Disney made an attraction like that. To be honest, this whole park took disney rides to a whole new level. Amazing.
Disney sea has the best environment worldwide. The caves and the water make it such an enchanting place. So many precious memories with my friends and family. ❤️❤️❤️
Ever since I was a kid and I saw this movie I felt like it would make a great theme for a rollercoaster. I'm so happy someone else thought the same and made it possible
I remember when I was riding this, I screamed so loudly at the end! But a kid in front of me was so calm and gave me a speechless look as the ride was a piece of cake to him!
The imagineers creativity knows no bounds. This truly is such an incredible ride. I almost want to say that the queue is better than the ride - and that’s no insult to the ride!
That's it I don't think I can watch anymore of these foreign ride videos, they make me way to jealous. Something really cool I'll never be able to experience, I'm done these videos. **runs off to cry in a corner somewhere**
I've been to 10 Disney Parks. If you believe that you will never visit these parks then you never will. It's your own attitude that is holding you down. If you have a positive outlook instead, you might actually get to visit these places some day.
They're catching up. Remember, Disneyland and Disneyworlds were not only the first Disney's, but the first theme parks ever. When they were first built it was all state of the art.... but at this point they'd be considered relics. Both parks are now expanding and I'd think we'd see a lot of cool stuff like this.
Just rode this last week, five times. Quite possibly the greatest themed thrill ride on the planet. Just amazing from the moment you walk into Mysterious Island.

I love their technology. So bad ass, especially that creature they came across. Amazing steady animatronics. Ive been to Disney World in Florida, enjoyed that very much. Now I want to go visit Tokyo to go to their "Disney Sea". That way I can say Disney World and Disney Sea are my two best theme parks to visit.
This is incredible. I would love to see this with my own eyes some day. Also, the queue area kinda reminds me of some of the design decisions imagineering made with Black Spire Outpost stateside which is just a neat parallel
mokana713 mostly they are using what was backstage areas. They have shrunk the river and made it look much more prettty and Mission Breakout is essentially the same ride with more drops. What they have changed they have made 'better'.
This filming of the ride is incredible...but even this does no justice to how amazing it is to ride it and be there! That monster at the end, the scariest part is before you see it, you can hear it roar, and it sounds like it is stalking you...hunting you. Even as an adult, it chilled me; so cool. I'm going back again someday. This is arguable the best Disney resort, and both parks are a surprisingly reasonable cost: the tickets, the food, everything! If you haven't gone yet, you've got to go!
I rode this once, awesome ride. The most intense part in my opinion is actually not the launch, but it's this part 4:54. It's really intense you literally get ejected out of your seat, and it feels like your heart is gonna stop

I actually rode this ride when I visited Tokyo and those drops freaked me out especially because you literally couldn’t see anything and I also loved the big animatronics before the drop. Although my relatives with me said it was boring because all it was were drops but to me it will hold a special place in my heart. I definitely recommend during night
This ride is amazing I’ve been in it whenever I visit and the usually hour up line is always worth the wait. Although you should get ready once you ride it since the ride has an ear piercing scream right before you speed up the already fast ride and plunge down ☺️☺️
It is really fun! I went there a few times with my family and it's really nostalgic to watch this video. The monster at the end is what I remember the most. And the whole atmosphere is stunning.

子供の頃はまだ理解力も足りなかったから、「最後が怖い、よくわからないアトラクション」と認識してたけど、大人になってから乗るといかに凄いアトラクションかがわかる。
この世界観を表現しきる、ディズニーしかできないよ…説得力が凄い。
本当に何度でも乗りたいけど、たった一度でもお腹いっぱいになるほどの素晴らしい造形。

Yes some staff here in Disney sea can speak English. Even one of the staff from the hotel I stay in, was American.

The imagineers creativity knows no bounds. This truly is such an incredible ride. I almost want to say that the queue is better than the ride - and that’s no insult to the ride!

I've been to 10 Disney Parks. If you believe that you will never visit these parks then you never will. It's your own attitude that is holding you down. If you have a positive outlook instead, you might actually get to visit these places some day.
They're catching up. Remember, Disneyland and Disneyworlds were not only the first Disney's, but the first theme parks ever. When they were first built it was all state of the art.... but at this point they'd be considered relics. Both parks are now expanding and I'd think we'd see a lot of cool stuff like this.
Tokyo DisneySea is truly a work of art!
Just rode this last week, five times. Quite possibly the greatest themed thrill ride on the planet. Just amazing from the moment you walk into Mysterious Island.

これ、１台６人乗りなんですよね。 高校時代、自分＋５人の友人＝計６人 で行ったときに、Center Of the Earth に乗って、１台貸し切り状態にして乗ったことがありますｗ 前後左右全て友人で貸し切り状態なので、６人ではしゃぎながら乗ってとても楽しかったです。 是非皆さんにもおすすめしたいｗｗ

I love their technology. So bad ass, especially that creature they came across. Amazing steady animatronics. Ive been to Disney World in Florida, enjoyed that very much. Now I want to go visit Tokyo to go to their "Disney Sea". That way I can say Disney World and Disney Sea are my two best theme parks to visit.

This is incredible. I would love to see this with my own eyes some day. Also, the queue area kinda reminds me of some of the design decisions imagineering made with Black Spire Outpost stateside which is just a neat parallel

mokana713 mostly they are using what was backstage areas. They have shrunk the river and made it look much more prettty and Mission Breakout is essentially the same ride with more drops. What they have changed they have made 'better'.

This filming of the ride is incredible...but even this does no justice to how amazing it is to ride it and be there!
That monster at the end, the scariest part is before you see it, you can hear it roar, and it sounds like it is stalking you...hunting you. Even as an adult, it chilled me; so cool.
I'm going back again someday. This is arguable the best Disney resort, and both parks are a surprisingly reasonable cost: the tickets, the food, everything! If you haven't gone yet, you've got to go!
This ride is soooooo awesome & detailed, I loved every second!
always a long queue but the animatronics and the view on top was really worth it !!
I rode this once, awesome ride. The most intense part in my opinion is actually not the launch, but it's this part 4:54. It's really intense you literally get ejected out of your seat, and it feels like your heart is gonna stop

I actually rode this ride when I visited Tokyo and those drops freaked me out especially because you literally couldn’t see anything and I also loved the big animatronics before the drop. Although my relatives with me said it was boring because all it was were drops but to me it will hold a special place in my heart. I definitely recommend during night

This ride is amazing I’ve been in it whenever I visit and the usually hour up line is always worth the wait. Although you should get ready once you ride it since the ride has an ear piercing scream right before you speed up the already fast ride and plunge down ☺️☺️

This ride at night goes so hard, the stomach throwing bit at the end is way less obvious and the park at night is more stunning as you whizz past it
