If you guys are a Disney fans, we highly recommend visiting Tokyo Disney Resort in the near future. It's seriously the best Disney park in the world. Tokyo DisneySea is beyond incredible! Tokyo Disney resort ticket is very affordable unlike in the United States. You are looking at around $60 for day ticket to $200 for a 4 day ticket.

Wow, that's freaking genius to have water and bubbles in the glass rather than submerge the entire ride vehicle. Disney never cease to amaze!
Efteling theme park has a whale scene in a darkride. The whale (FULL SIZE, real animatronic) dives outside a greenhouse which seems to be submerged under water (illusion), then the glass cracks and water (real) leaks in... Some amazing wonders are NOT Disney's :-) :-)
I honestly thought they were underwater until I saw the vehicle's propeller (the one in front) wasn't producing any air bubbles

I rode it before but couldn’t figure out if we were actually underwater or not. That’s how good this ride was.
You can tell early on that it isn’t underwater just because some of the sails and netting in the “shipwreck” area would probably float and/or flutter in the currents produced by the submarine cars. It definitely looks amazing though!!

I loved this dark ride when we visited Disney Sea last may. And the queue was only 5 minutes for this ride.

theflush it’s so underrated. Like there is no wait time that it’s crazy, and it’s also perfect for waiting in between fast passes and everytime you go on it you find something new
I went there 2 years ago and the line was sooooooooooo long, but worth it.
That is sad. I think you would feel differently had you ever ridden the original in Florida.

I love so much how Disney rides are so immersive, and also incredible in engineering, and technically. This is such a massive ride with so much computing going on with all of the ride vehicles keeping spaces apart, all the visual, audio, motion control elements working together getting synced perfectly. Amazing! I love it!
The ride vehicles are on a track, genius. As for the visuals, Six Flags does the same thing. What motion control elements? The whole ride moves along a single path. The haunted mansion ride at Six Flags Over Georgia is more sophisticated.
The ride is so amazing! I recommend it to anyone! But don’t worry, they don’t actually submerge you. They just have a hollow space between the 2 glass panels where they put water and bubbles. Disney always amazes!

@@monsieurjulio5142 I know. I was in Tokyo last month and this ride was amazing. And journey to the center of the earth is even more amazing. Paris needs those rides. Discovery land feels so unfinished with all the star wars and buzz lightyear stuff.
@@TheWASHINGMACHINEBOY No true. This ride is based off of jules vernes books and the old movies. And the tokyo tower of terror has an overreaching history with mystic manor in hong kong. They call it the explorers club.
It's like they've done a whole ride using the same illusion trick than the squid attack scene of the Nautilus walkthrough of Disneyland Paris.

If you look up at the wall inside the submersible, there is a depth meter. The meter shows that the submersible is sinking when the submersible is dragged in the deep sea.

Walt Disney himself would've been awestruck by Japanese imagination let alone their engineering!!!
The rides in the overseas Disney parks are still designed by the mostly American Imagineering team in California.
The people who built this ride built most of the rides in the American parks as well. Disneysea simply had the 'spared no expense' motto in designing it so the imagineers could go crazy with their ideas.

@@user-fr4ih5hv2t the same imagineers who designed disneyland and walt disney world designed tokyo disneysea, but they had a much greater budget to work with since both of the tokyo parks are actually owned and funded by the oriental land company - not the walt disney company. they license the disney brand and ips from the walt disney company, but are solely responsible for the operation and upkeep of the parks

Incredible ride, my only critique is that they should add a filter to the glass to make everything look a bit more blue. That’s how things underwater look. It would help with the immersion

I genuinely thought we would actually be underwater when I first rode, but was disappointed when we were not. As the ride went on though, I enjoyed it more than the OG one.

So the windows are convexed glass tank filled with water and bubble making mechanism, pure GENIUS! The lighting and whole displays creates the feeling of submerged-like. 👍👍👍
I wish they added the sea snake and mermaids from the orginal WDW ride. It was corny but so cute ☹🧜♀️🐉
There's no Mermaids or Sea Serphants in the "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" story by Jules Vern which is ride is based on.

I'm also curious about the camera they use! But if I had to take a guess, I think it is filmed with the A7s mark II
This specific ride has a build in flashlight so that may be the reason. Even then it captures everything else the flashlight doesn't point to do it may be the camera

The shadow at about 4 and a half minutes in of the mermaids chasing the submarine is terrifying! I really hope that by the time my family gets to go to the park it’ll still be up and running, it looks so cool!

If I could stop time and wander around anywhere...to heck with Fort Knox, I would take a hike through this ride on foot! Look at all the set pieces and details up close...maybe sit down and have lunch in those Atlantis ruins.
Neat! At first when i saw the natilus i was at first like: oh this is gonna be the exact same thing as at paris but no what a pleasant suprise. One thing i'd like to see is like vr subtitles, allowing more people to understand the dialogue knowing japanese isn't as common yet as english..

I remember the original 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride at Disney World in Orlando FL when I was a kid. It was one of my all-time favorites! I was so bummed when they took it out! I would love to see them bring it back. It looks like this version has all the bugs worked out!

This is the ride i want to go on the most at disneysea, even over journey to the center of the earth and their unique tower of terror
I remember going here for example the Volcano Ride with the Huge centipede, The curry popcorn, and this, This was my favorite I even took a pic of one of the posters
