The title is a bit misleading as Charismatic Renewal is not mentioned
I was wondering about that, too. Maybe it referred to the laity trying to do deliverance prayers without having the proper authority. It's one of the things they do in the CR.
I disagree.I believe Jessie and Dan are comparing the charismatic way (priest praying over a person) to the traditional Catholic way, doing the work ourselves.I e. Returning to the sacraments and offering up our sufferings. My opinion only.
Hate to break it to you but the Charismatic Renewal is not Catholic! It’s based on false ecumenicalism and has Protestant Roots and the founder was a in trouble with the law. More modernist thinking that’s been allowed to infiltrate Holy Mother Church!
