I am a convert from non-de Protestantism, and I am very uncomfortable with the accepting of clearly Protestant teachings coming out of the “catholic charismatic renewal”. If I find out that someone I once listened to, like Ralph Martin, is heavily involved, I question their discernment and do not feel like I can trust what they say.
Welcome home! Do not worry ... Ralph Martin is totally God-focused.
Kennedy Hall has been doing a series of podcasts on this exact topic and how CR is actually demonic. He’s currently writing a book as well. We need to get back to simple, Catholic truth!
@@godchild7490God-focused but the wrong path. Do research (honest research) on the CR and its roots. It’s evil and heavily heretical
Virgin Most Powerful, pray for us.
pray for us 🌹
Ark of the New Covenant, pray for us!
"pray the rosary every day" --- Our Lady of Fatima --- 1917 -⚔
When i sense any inkling of the demonic i call on Mama Mary so they flee before they can disturb my families peace. Praying the full rosary is a great beginning also to be protected by Mary from demons.
Hilarious
Mama Mary sounds cozy but perhaps is not respectful of someone who has never sinned. Be careful as satan loves disrespect.
@@hollyvondross9635. I could not stand Luisa peccoretta passion of Christ because of the reference to Mama. It was unbearable and I could not finish it. I even took whiteout and changed every reference from Mama to Mary, and still couldn’t do it. Chalkboard!
I don’t believe it’s used out of disrespect.
@@hollyvondross9635 The 'pet name' indicates closeness not disrespect.
Pray "for" people not "over" them.
I don’t even get what “praying over someone” is. Apart from where ones hands are placed, what is the difference between “over” or “for”?

Interestingly when demons have manifested thru those around us its always in matters of confession, Mary and priest's. Only ever supoorts the validity of the Catholic church and her magisterium. Pray for the humility to seek the confessional.
Only an ordained priest should bless us. Authority from sucessive magistrium from the Holy Apsotolic church as deigned by Jesus beginning with St.Peter the rock.
That's correct.
Your father and grandfather, your husband also can bless you his wife.
Some religious seem to bless also.
I don't know how legitimate that is.
Focus on Christ, nothing else matters.
Fr Chris Alar from the Divine Mercy Shrine, Ma. Gave a great talk on this subject, there are constraints, make sure to stay in your own lane.🙏🙏🛐❤️🔥✝️
Your right. I commented above. This weekend my experience turned to be I had no time to let that person know not to do this. Will explain next time.
I am concerned by what I see happening in our church. The charismatics are taking over and some priests are relinquishing their authority. I went to a priest for help and he actually told me to get help from a charismatic group in the parish rather than help me himself. Of course, I declined.
Learning so much!! Thank you... thank you.. I'm soo grateful!
Its interesting how i saw this on my feed. Ive been busy to keep up with such good podcasts. Last year i remember watching Fr. Chris Alars talk on this. He mentioned not to let anyone other than Catholic priests lay hands on our head. This weekend I had fellow parishioner pray with me during retreat to the point she laid hands on my head. I didnt like the idea, there was little time to tell that person thats not right, yesterday i went looking for Catholic priest explained him i had him bless me. Next time if that person do this, i will let that person know.
The Liber Cristo method, as summarized by Jesse aligns with what I learned in Catholic Spirituality at FUS recently- 3 components necessary: The Sacraments (especially the Eucharist), Our Blessed Mother and Reverence for the Pope (hierarchy). Amazing!!! 🙏
Thank you for putting this clarification out there. There is so much confusion. And thank you for doing it with charity and without detraction.
What about in Church when the priest has everyone raise their hand of blessing toward a person or a group (eg confirmation candidates etc) It looks like a nazi salute basically
During confirmation, it is only the bishop and the priest who lay their hands on the candidate/s not the laity. The laying of hands by laity is not done. Charismatics do this, the Catholic laity should not do this. If you are a parent (head of your household) you can lay your hands on your children. The father is the head of the household so he can lay his hand over his wife. If the mother is the only living head (on account of death of the husband) of the household, she can lay her hands over her children. Laity can only do deprecatory prayer or blessing and not imprecatory as Jessie Romero has said somewhere in the first few minutes of this video.
No one in the Catholic Church does this unless you are talking about a Modernist (do as you feel, not as Christ commanded) Church of the Novus Ordo.
@@colleenavery232 Exactly my point. Laying of hands by laity on others is not supposed to be encouraged especially by priests but it seems a lot of Novus Ordo priests allow it especially with charismatics and during their baptism in the holy spirit activity. Catholics who are charismatics do it along with their babbling (their so-called gift of tongues).
The charismatic movement aka modernists always do this.
@@capsilog1I'm Catholic and the Mother also has authority over her children, wether the husband is there or not. Resource- Excorcist Priest. As a mother I bless my children, my food, the rooms in my house my bed linen, furniture, my car most things I use, as directed from Priest. I have this authority from my Baptism.❤
Can grand parents bless their grandchildren?
No, they can’t
Yes a deprecatory blessing, asking God to bless them. is within a grandparents purview but a grandparent does not have authority (God's authority structure, not mans) to give an imprecatory blessing, which is to command a blessing, that authority is given only to the parents.
For example, a parent can spank a child, any other person, including grandparents, do not have this right without the permission of the parent. Another example, parents can command a child to mow the lawn, but grandparents can not without the parents permission.
(This is assuming the grandparents are not the legal guardians of the child, with the parents being deceased)
Father Ripperger has excellent talks on spiritual warfare that explains all of this.
Fathers have authority over wives and children. Mothers have authority over children. Grandparents do not have authority over grandchildren.
Those in authority over another (the right to command that person) can command blessings, removal of demons, bindings etc, If you step out of this authority structure you open yourself, and the person you are blessing, laying hands on etc, to the demonic - obsession, suppression, and or possession.
When a son is 18 or a girl is married their parents no longer have authority over them.
Hope this helps.
I think I remember Fr Ripperger giving the analogy that if you can tell them to cut your lawn, you have the necessary authority. ..so no, sadly..
No, not directly. But they can bless them using deprecatory prayers. Ex. The Lord bless you. God bless you.
They can bless their children (the parents) directly (imprecatory) as they have the spiritual authority to do so.
Hell no !
What if you pray the rosary at your house and people want us to pray for the them afterwards is that okay
What about a husband blessing a wife?
Yes, because a husband has authority over his wife.
Would the roles of friend, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, cousin, niece or nephew be considered "offices" within the Church's hierarchical authority structure? What blessing would be appropriate for them to give under the assumption that by baptism we all share in Christ's priesthood, although in an essentially different or lower ranking way from an ordained priest?
Thank you for asking this question. I have the same question, only I didn't know how to phrase it.
I find this whole podcast confusing. They are all over the place.
What is allowed or not is still not clear.
@@helenemakuch8366The Father may bless his wife and children, the mother may bless the children.
You cannot lay hands on anyone to cast out demons only a priest or exorcist may cast out spirits.
Father Rippenger gives a great talk about this on UA-cam.
😊
The bottom line is that if you have commanding authority over a person - husband to wife and children, wife to children - guardian to adolescent, child to elderly parent completely in their care and reliant on them (in some cases) - you can bless, bind, expel demons etc - HOWEVER if you try this on relations and friends who you do not have any authority over - you open yourself and that person up to demonic obsession suppression and/or possession.
You can use deprecatory , prayers, blessings etc, on anyone (asking God to bless them) but you can not use Imprecatory (where you command it in the state of grace) prayers, blessings, bindings unless you have direct authority over them
You can't bless a priest, a neighbor or a friend, a cousin or an aunt with imprecatory blessings

@@margaretadamson6239Excorcist Priest, Parents baptismal authority can also bind and cast out in Jesus name evil from children, and self but no-one else.❤

No, Francis.

So when I say, "May the Lord Bless and keep you," etc. With Holy water over other children than my own, it's OK because I'm asking God to do it?
Can grandparents bless their grandchildren?
“When I find myself in times of trouble mother Mary comes to me” I wonder if Paul McCartney was talking about Our lady?
He was talking about his own mother, named Mary. He said this in an interview. I initially thought the same
No. He’s talking about his own mother. She had passed away when he was young. I believe he was 14 years old. After she had passed he had a dream that she came to him & spoke to him & he wrote a song about it.
Who is the other gentleman? With Jesse?
Jesse sounds like his mic is off, and he’s echoing.
Jesse has an echo.
It's not wrong. Christ said you can cast out in my name. I am a cradle Catholic
He said it to the Apostles
Jesus gave authority to those who believes Him .Lay people who were God's children have power to bless, to share the Gospel, the Truths, and to cast out demons too. Catholic Church leaders seek to restrict Lay man ability and callings, is an insult to God. This kind of Dumbest Idea, to limit and restrict Lay man but seek to control all their Lives, or many areas of their Abilities, is indeed a Grave sin.
Why would a priest want to limit the lay people to control their lives? That does not make sense, they are so busy as it is, the last thing they want is more tasks. They would be happy to let the lay people handle this if it was safe. And in terms of Jesus giving authority to all who believe in him, please site the teachings vs. what is sited in the podcast.
What on earth are you talking about. We live in the 21s century. Get a grip on life before it’s too late.
Then why are you wasting time watching Catholic videos?
I would bless my children every night when they were little. This is a pretty negative video.
That is allowed. Please watch the video.
Parents can and should bless their children.
