An interesting thing to note is that Resident Evil was originally called Biohazard when it released in Japan, but since there was already an American game called Biohazard they could not secure the name for the international release. A contest was held to determine the new name, and "Resident Evil" won. Kind of makes you wonder how awful the other name suggestions must have been lol

Tiberius/orion was a lot worse. He was not only doing very boring things but he kept backstepping and adding multiple things that he was doing at the same time. It was incredibly obnoxious where here it was hilarious, Sam/scanlan added to the fun for everyone involved while Tiberius/orion grounded everything to a screeching halt and took the game from "wasn't that a great time? let's celebrate and maybe spend some gold for a good time and some upgrades" to "he's still doing this... he added another thing.. come on let's go already:
I know this thread is 3 years old but I can't help myself. You're comparing apples to oranges, whenever Orion 'wanted to do 4 things' those things were always ways to increase his power as a player regardless of how blatant his metagaming was, or how overpowered the results were. When Sam here does 4 things he: 1) Composes a poem; something that has no metagame value but is completely in character and lets him set up a silly joke to make his friends laugh 2) Commissions an absurdly egotistical portrait; this actually has negative value for him as a player if he spends money on it because it gives him no tangible reward - but once again he does it because he knows doing it will make his friends laugh and it's completely in character 3) Attempts to learn if they can teleport again; this one is clearly purely for gameplay purposes which is something Orion would do but the main difference here is in how Sam tries to accomplish his goal. Instead of saying "I spend 3 days learning how to teleport" he says that he wants to research if he can - the key difference there is that instead of assuming that he'll succeed at this potentially gamebreaking endeavor, he lets the DM know what he wants and then leaves the outcome entirely to Matt. If Matt had reasons for allowing them to use teleporting again, he would find a way to incorporate it here and likewise if he had other plans or didn't think it made sense Sam trusted that Matt would let him know how and why it wouldn't work. Even being met with semi-failure (the party can't teleport using the circles, but they uncover Whitestone as a teleportation destination) Sam finds a way to accept and roll with it, whereas Orion would try and argue that if he only half succeeded then he should get half his time back and use it for crafting magical items or somesuch. 4) Despite the title, in this video we never learn what the 4th thing was and I can't be bothered to check the actual episode but I can 100% guarantee you that it was either something in character that made the table break out laughing, or something useful that he wasn't sure he would get.
