Try using the drain point at the top of the heat exchanger on the viessmann in order to recharge the expansion vessel. Also some boiler manufacturers state not to use any abrasive brushes to clean their heat exchangers.
the hinges are broken on the Worcester boilers i can see the green clip is down on one of them and on the other boiler the panel is not fully up, these break all the time i carry LH and RH hinges as spares
good job you did not fry the pcb as you have to replace the whole dropdown unit pcb does not come separately at about £350 plus vat nice little earner for Worcester, its the same for the 4000s
On the viessmann’s u can drain down via filling loop or even easier is by the bleeding point at top of heat exchanger . Looks like u were the first to properly clean it! They are easy to work on burner comes out in 5 minutes
Hi loving your videos very well done and very informative, was wondering how long have you been a gas engineer and what would you recommend for a new entrant starting out in the business I’m currently on my course and wanted a realistic point of view.
Thanks, I've been doing it around 5yrs now. Best thing from my own experience would be to go and work in social housing or for the council to get your experience up before you venture out on your own 👍🏽
Yeah that's his main toolbag. He likes it as he also does a lot of plumbing work in general as well so he can fit a few more tools in there that he might need as well. For me and breakdowns, the velocity 2.0 is the one 👌🏽
@@cputilitysolutions nice one. Looking at it myself as a service and breakdowns. Just can't find anything that will also fit the kane analyser and particularly probe which is also compact.. I'm guessing you carry the analyser separately?
Wow, the state of those worcester compacts at the start. What clown installs them like that? Those pumps should die soon being piped up like that with no hydraulic separation pmsl
Low loss header probably a bit over the top, close coupled tees would do the job. I feel your pain with the pipework over the expansion vessel, see that often lol.

Thanks for the tip mate 👍🏽
Viessmann doesn’t recommend vigorous brushing at all

Hey CP.. Is Josh using a Veto tech MCT as his service bag ? If so, how does he find it.?

Yup, a low loss header would have been a good idea as well as additional expansion
