We were 1st grade teachers together in Arizona. We loved your travel videos and the baby. We agreed that we are inspired to travel again!

Hint, to remove the red paper, you need a fine point instrument. Ice pick, needle, tweezers, a pick type ...works super fast. Love the idea...never seen anything like that. Awesome. Your filming on your trips are epic, love them, just amazing!

I LOVE maps! I think the wood map is beautiful thing...😍I wanted to do a collection of maps and globes only...well...my hubby and I generally don't agree when it comes to decorating. So we have a little of this and a little of that to appease both of us.

I think the pins would be a wonderful idea, perhaps even a way to transfer it into a memory wall. Even having a ribbon coming off of the pin to a picture of when you were there. Even Canada where he was born his baby picture on the end of that ribbon. You were born in PA so your baby picture from there, that type of thing.

Another great video Jeannine....I’m very envious of your ability to travel to the tropical places...that is my hearts desire; dont know if it will ever happen as my spouse has heart issues and his ability to travel isn’t looking good...UUGH....so I travel by watching other people !

The map idea is great since you love traveling so much and it will be great for Zander growing up. My husband is Irish so I was interested to see you'd been there. I went to Iceland as part of a cruise and I loved it would like to go back I would like to see the Northern lights. Happy Thanksgiving and all the best to your family. That map is stunning and such a lovely idea for memories. You are very well travelled. Was lovely to hear you had visited Wales, although I live in England now, I grew up in North Wales, so I recognised Llandudno in the video, you were brave to get on the chair lift :)

Loved the video and that you make a point to continue to grow your relantionship with your hubby after children. My husband and I have never been away solo from our children because we have a special needs son but I pray someday we could travel and spend that quality time alone.
I'm sure that had it's challenges but blessings to you for not leaving your son with others

Antartica is a great place to visit. Such amazing vegetation and animals. Zander would love it. Serendipity, I live in Quito, Ecuador. I just heard you just mentioned you went to Ecuador for your honeymoon.

Loved the video. I was thinking, since it would be very crowded with all the tacks, how about cutting out a a piece of wood large enough (Long and narrow) to put by the window edge then poke the tacks in that of all the states and perhaps some of the countries you have been to. That way your map would not get cluttered but you would still be able to show all the place you have travelled. Just a thought. Have a Blessed day. BTW I notice Xander has had his precious smile since about 3 months and has been very talkative almost since he could make sounds. Just a wonderful look back.

I totally agree with keeping it minimal. The wood tones are so beautiful, but the colors of the tac may take away from that.

What awesome video you did for us all, so happy you enjoy Ireland I grew up in Ireland I think I have said before sorry for repeating myself but I grew up in the North of Ireland I am for Belfast! I love the South also my Sister lived in the South for a while love going down to visit her and family, your hubby is Canadian eh lol and from Alberta my son lives in Alberta near Edmonton and grandsons live in Calgary been up there a few times, love the video’s of your travel, aww Xander was adorable baby and still is so adorable, thank you for sharing, your picture is beautiful great to have your travel memories on the wall! U r so fortunate that the two of got to travel to all these beautiful places. I know it’s not right to envy but I sure do envy u. My husband n I wanted to travel to see some of the USA but unfortunately were not able to do anything that now as he has dementia. U looked so happy in the videos n got to see Xander as a baby. He looked just like Xander except he’s taller n lost all that baby face. He’s a real sweetheart. Love ur videos n love u bcuz ur honest n very open about urself. Jeanine to bad we couldn’t be neighbors I know we would get along great n have lots of fun but since I’m in Florida I don’t think it will happen. By the way , I love the wooden pieces on ur wall. It’s really nice looking. Cool idea ♥️😊👍

I totally agree with you about couples going on trips with no children. As much as we love our kids there’s nothing like reconnecting with your spouse!

Your living room is looking great! I love the world map-my son and daughter-in-law have traveled quite a bit also-not as much outside of our country as you two. They’re hikers and their goal is to visit as many (or all!) of our national parks as possible. They have a framed map with all their travels pinned on it. Really neat! This year-after 13 years of marriage, they’ll have a little traveling partner-our grandson was born just seven weeks ago 😊. I can’t wait to see the rest of your renovation. Happy Thanksgiving!

What a glorious video and what a lovely husband and child you have. As for the wall map, I love it. I have a weakness for maps, globes and atlases.
