Thank you for watching this video. Unfortunately Lance Luckey, the owner, has recently passed away. Lance was the gentleman sitting in the beginning of the video. Lance and Gloria are fantastic people and I hope that their hearts are filled peace and healing.
Flew in to Indy yesterday from key west. Spent 7 days in marathon. I never wet a line but my great grandson who is ten slayed them. It was all about him. Wanted him to have memories of his great grandpa. He ate all the local food. Stone crab claws, mahi mahi, conch, crab, lobster. And more. He loved all the seafood. We really had a great time and took a lot of pics
That’s awesome man. Thinking about this memories just brought a huge smile to my face. I am flying into Indy today from Orlando. Lots of great Disney memories with all the girls. I was able to wet a few lines and catch a few bass. Good times had by all. Cheers 🍻
That is a cool tackle shop. When we go up to Ely there's 3 or 4 places we stop that are very similar. Great places just to browse. Thanks for showing this one.
This is why I rarely shop online. The owners and staff of my local tackle shop know me and always know what I would be interested in before I even know that it's in stock. I think you might have heard me say this before, but when I first go into any kind of store, I'm usually shopping for a relationship and a rapport, rather than a product.
I have always been a fan of mom and pop shops. The online giants and their marketing have a hold on the industry for sure. I sure do hope Luckey’s is still open when I return in May.

I love these mom and pop tackle shops! Prices might be slightly higher, but the stories and conversations are worth it!
💯
Cool litte place for sure! So sorry to hear about Lance! Prayers for the family!
Thanks for watching.
I love out of the way old bait shops. Sometimes you might find a old discontinued bait you been looking for.
That’s a great reason to visit these kinds of shops.

Tackle shops like this are so awesome!
Yes they are! Any mom n pop shops in your area?
@@HookLife there is one I’m aware of! Definitely getting rare! When I went to Missouri trout fishing there was one there that was so awesome.
Sadly all the shops like that around me have disappeared . Thanks for sharing your experience Greg !
That is quite sad. We have a small mom n pop shop by me. I need to make it a point to go there more often.
Not too many of these left.
