Thanks! I am very much interested in indoor air quality in my home. In my last home I had installed an ERV (that I regularly cleaned and maintained), an electronic air filter and a whole-house humidifier. Neighbors commented on how comfortable it felt inside-and that was in the winter with the thermostat set at 68! In this old house (circa 1925) I have both an electronic filter and a UV filter. I'm researching having both a humidifier and a dehumidifier installed.

How well will these units work with a heat pump system? Does it make a difference with a variable speed system vs a 1 or 2 speed system?
Finally you have someone in Houston you recommend?
