Excellent tips! If you don’t want that sweater to fray, there is a product called “Fray Check” that is like a glue for fabrics. Also, you can purchase denim thread that’s super strong so you don’t have to worry about the thread snapping.

The altering if the waist on the jeans is truely fabulous! I have saved this tip. I have a true waist even though going through menopause + everything I buy needs darts in but this looks amazing!!! Thank u

Thank you!! You inspired me to cut balloon sleeves off a gorgeous dress I haven’t been wearing - so easy and so much more “me” and versatile! 🙌🏼🙌🏼😍

On the jeans where you take them in you could use upholstery thread which is much stronger.

That's so fun I love the jean trick. I hope to put more clothing alternation videos on my channel too!

Your clothes turned out amazing! The dress is so pretty and feminine. Thank you for this video. I will definitely use the trick for the jeans as my waist is often too loose. Very useful!

Hi Emily, thanks for such a practical tutorial, very much needed particularly during the pandemic and while some of us are basically under lockdown! Stay safe! ❤️🇨🇦

Yeah, I was one of the ones that asked about the sweater. I thought without sewing it would unravel.
I can (hate) sewing and recently donated my sewing machine.
Again, all of them came out great

Thank you for slowing down the jean trick. I saw it on Pinterest, but couldn’t get my head around what was happening!

There is a product called Fray Check that you could apply lightly to the bottom of the sweater to keep it from raveling. 😊 It's washable and dry-cleanable and works very well.

I didn't realize when I watched this video before that the big sleeves on that dress made you look really old. You are WAY too young for that. The difference is night and day! I literally was just focused on the changes and not the whole picture. Also next time you alter jeans use quilting thread. Never leave home without it. Very sturdy and very easy to use. I carry a pill bottle repair kit with black, white and grey pre- threaded needles for emergency purposes. And it has saved me and several friends many times!
