They were sighted for 173gn flat base round nosed projectiles, that could be your issue with accuracy depending on the bullet weight from the PPU you are using.
That's a nice Chilean 1895 Mauser Bayonet they look and fit alot better than the old beat up spanish bayonets. i have the same one i use on my M1916 Spanish Mauser.
I use S&B (Selliot and Belot) 173 gr. You might try it. At 35 yds I have about 3” of spread, so this ammo works well for mine. My rifling is likely not as good as yours too, from what you said (mine bore is about gone). BTW, nice rifle and well done!

I got an 1893/38 Turkish mauser. it's nice. Had a 1895 Chilean, but I sold that. Yours looks great!

Had the same problem changed follower works fine try 175 grain bullet round nose long ogive
