Dang I never thought about putting the SDI cable through the back. Gonna have to copy that. Also, I also downloaded the two other platforms before watching the video to get the right one to update and active it 😂😂😂😂 great review brutha!
The best tell of delay is what you did with your phone. Distance will add to that delay due to light delay, i.e. the time for light to travel from the transmitter to the receiver. Yes, this ends up being more time than you think. ESP from an electrical engineering perspective when you are chasing latency. Radio is line of sight. If you get signal, that signal is going THROUGH whatever happens to be in the way. So stuff in the way shouldn't contribute any latency unless considering packets being resent.
@@emiliodiezjunior sadly no. DJI says that Fujifilm is the issue and they need their cooperation to solve this problem. Fujifilm is pretty much ignoring this issue. I workaround this issue by using the HDMI or SDI out from monitors to the transmission system. Directly using the HDMI Out from the camera still does not work.
Hi, do you know if you can go: HDMI out of cam > HDMI IN to Transmitter....Then SDI out of transmitter>SDI IN Viewfinder Specifcally using this with a Canon C70 and Zacuto Kameleon EVF pro
Do you have any experience connection multiple transmitters to one high-bright monitor/receiver and then switching between your camera sources? Some have said this shift from one camera to another is slow. What's your experience?
nice review thanks man! bought this for my FPV gimbaled operations as well as using it on my static FPV rig. I have so much pro gear and knowledge now from doing it as a hobby i want to start networking to get some paid jobs! whats your best advice on how to go about this..? Linkedin, reddit forums, local forums, social media, etc...? thanks!!
so I have been using this system for almost a year now. Since 2 months, the video receiver got super loud, the fan is just too loud and it is very annoying while filming. Does anyone know of this problem?
I wonder if the latency is something DJI can improve upon with updates or hardware. If so, this system might be perfect because I use the Teradek Bolt Pro 4K 1500 frequently and while it has very good latency it frequently has transmission problems especially when going through walls. It’s was nearly a $10k system as well.
I bought one for Fuji when the original package came out and I was quite surprised it was not compatible with Fuji. I mean, it's a HDMI connection, how can they mess that up. And it's only Fuji, I have tried it with anything from Sony to Canon and currently work with a Red rig. No hiccups. I reached out to DJi and they recognized the issue but said it's a problem at Fujis end so they can't fix it 🥺
@CineDailies - you may want to look and see what your output options are on the HDMI port it’s possible your Fuji camera is sending out either a frame rate or a setting that the unit does not like the individual units can do fractional frame rates for example, but the hybrid monitor cannot.
@@cjadams7434 I actually went through this with DJ. We did like 20 emails and a few videos and they just couldn’t figure it out. For some reason fuji wasn’t helping with this at all.
@@cjadams7434 That's only the SDI and HDMI output on the RX end though. The TX to RX handles factional rates just fine. The issue here at hand is the Fuji cams HDMI output.
I love your shirt, man. I appreciate your faith and influence
Always so stoked to see your reviews. The PKL shirt is the icing on the cake. Keep going, big bro
agreed! :)
the father daughter camera operating, such a beautiful moment :)
It’s hard because Teredek has great latency but range is trash and this has great range but latency is trash. 😩

Am I the only one who noticed what is written on his t-shirts 😂
It's true tho 🙃

Good note
Thanks for filling in the gaps, now I want it even more lol. Guess I'm the future owner of their TX/RX + monitor and handles!
Sick! Yeah you won't be disappointed - unless your camera is a Fuji xh2s smh
I am currently working with DJI Support to fix this XH2S Issue. I have it too and it is annoying.
@TechnoNates does the problem of the dji transmission with fujifilm cameras has been fixed?

About time! Stuart took forever!
I appreciate the info on this product. I'm just disappointed you didn't wear your Eagles jersey in this video.

I done this setup and it takes around 1 to1.5 seconds to switch to the other camera…not horrible but yes would be nice to have it switch faster.
How does this compare to the Teradek Bolt 6 LT HDMI 750?
This system looks solid for video village and the price is right
Especially for event coverage
What type of connection is that on the video monitor? where can I purchase it?

Embedded audio features?
I’ve been hearing so many great things about these. But with some of the cons idk
Bro does this work with the GFX 100 II? Some say it does but others say it does not
I'm not sure. 🤷🏽♂️
@@CineDailies Well the teradek bolt I have works amazingly for it but I would like to set up the dji lidar on the gfx
I have a question. Somebody, somewhere, try put to hollyland 400 s? I mean, use the transmitter dji video, to connect a receive hollyland?
🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
So a firend has been testing he has said no 720 video out, and no audio on the SDI
Where in NYC . Im in nyc
It was a struck mission. I'm already heading home
