Dont you miss the times when you hadn't seen the entire movie before you've seen it, trailers really show way too much of the good moments these days..
Kinda true, but we shouldnt watch the Trailers then🤣 still too excited to not watch them for me
@@KEV19019Same haha I will complain about this but still watch the trailers... :D watched the movie yday and was just waiting for each moment to happen. "Oh he hasn't said SILENCE yet, thats left, and the worm battle scene" was all i was thinking
Thats why i didnt even watch the trailers before
so tru
incorrectly titled. There is no "behind the scenes" other than some comments by Timothee Chalamet. This is just a series of trailers.
To do movies at the highest level, god chooses
I see this movie two times in the cinema, is amazing
This is going to be freaking epic!!!!
Best movie ever!!!
From the clips, not really thrilled with the Emperor or Irulan, we shall see…
BTW, still loved the SyFy channels version of Dune and Children…👍🏻🍻😎
This video is sooooo "behind the scenes" that it went on the other side and we can't see sh!t.
I can't help thinking I'm going to be disappointed. Is it dark enough?
Did he just say she brings steeliness?😅😂😂
재밌겠다. 약간 사막을 가지고 한 영화가 많은데, 사막에서 저렇게 현대 무기 전쟁? 헬기 나오고 있었나?항상 사막 전투는 좀 구식 무기들 많이 나왔던거같아.
No, she most certainly is not.
The costumes of Florence Pugh seems so cheap! (was the costume design dept left with a tiny budget?)
While I agree, the visuals are really good. This smacks of "Girl Boss Power" both Chani and Princess are over done. I'm not a 100% purist when it comes to the story being told. I've read Herbert's books since I was a fucking wee lad, multiple times. Paul says he wishes he could be more like Chani in her strength . She fucking died in childbirth, doesn't make her weak at all, but Cuck Paul is loading and RPG so she can fight the Harokonesns?(Spelling might be off) He was Bene Jesuit trained since birth, but hey, he wishes he had her woman power strength.
just so fucking tired of it, I certainly will watch it. But won't pay a dime for it.
Never even knew who Florence Pugh was until I saw her on Hot Ones, she is beautiful and love her voice.
Whatever
I think the girl power thing is a backlash from the days when Princess Leia who had just lost her whole planet and everyone she knew had to comfort Luke who'd lost a mentor he'd only known for days. Women get sick of the male characters emotions always being prioritised. Chani was a warrior before she met Paul, and as they're highlighting the romance to make the movie more mainstream, well likely see more of her emotional strength too, which Paul alluded to.
@@whatbringsmepeacelol, "Backlash" what backlash are you talking about. That movie came out in 1977, Don't recall any "Mee too" protests about the movie. Leia lost her planet, everyone men and women Here's an assumption, I doubt you were even born then. Seen any male uprising about or "Backlash" as you call it about Thelma and Louise? Wonder Woman? Ripley in Aliens? Clarice Starling? I could go on but honestly, you have succeeded, I am now two IQ points dumber for reading what you posted. Well done. What's the quote? Never argue or debate with an Idiot, they will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I don't know what you even mean with this, it doesn't seem out of place. You say you read the books but have misspelled most of the names in the book. One of the main themes of Dune is literally "Girl Power". Most of what goes on in the Empire is because of very competent women pulling the strings. The women in Dune are generally portrayed as having concrete goals, ulterior motives, and the means to carry out these motives.
It's true that they are trying to give Irulan a larger role here than she had in the first book. But you kind of have to ... What, they're just going to have you read her quoted works (which would not have been written yet in the timeline)?
She has a much larger role in the later books. She's a pretty bitter, formidable, and vengeful woman. Didn't Chani actually die in childbirth because of the poison/contraceptive that Irulan had been sneaking into her food?
@@harrisonreed8718 I'll keep this simple, any misspellings I've made does what? Discount any points I've made? Herbert's women have always been strong and powerful, Chani really wasn't one of them. Not Prominently You accurately nuanced Irulan's role, she was Bene Gesuit (SPELLING) trained but we're talking about the movie here, That shit hasn't happened yet. His baby sister killed the baron Aila of the knife, not Girl Boss Chani, You can google it, but besides my misspellings sugar coat it all you want it seems to be on the surface just another "Super Girl Boss Power" movie. Which frankly But I hope you enjoy it. as a toxic white male, I'm tired of.
