Imagine an entire game that looked like this. It’d be one of the best visuals ever seen in an indie game. But it’s a mod for Terraria! At this point the game is a game engine as much as it’s own game!
When this mod comes out, it will be my favorite of all time, better than Calamity, Thorium or even Redemption. The one thing this set of bosses has over them is amazing spectacle and the feeling of a true battle between god tier beings. Even fighting bosses like Holy Sword that are already released feels absolutely fantastic due to speed and the fairness of the attacks.

This is gonna be an extremely long shot, but does anyone else think that the Empress Of Light's rework theme sounds like the music used in the Engel series by NeroGeist?
Yes, I'm pretty sure this whole moon lord rework is based on or at least inspired by Yukari fight from the touhou fangame Fantastic Danmaku Festival 2, which is where this theme came from
I don't like the idea of equipment being bosses. Bosses themselves are characters, and through their attacks they express their personality. I absolutely love the aesthetic of the Empress of Light battle, and also like how Rainbow Rod's attacks are focused on regular polygons (idk it seems oddly fitting), but overall living equipment tend not to have any personality per se and *that's* what I don't like.
I think it would be an okay mechanic if every piece of equipment were a boss, but not worth the effort of programming unless you automatically programmed it somehow. I'm sure there is lore about tools coming to life to haunt the wielder in mythology. It would be a gimmick, but the boss remasters are more important.

Moth was from a mod called MythMod. It was deleted from the browser but was revamped from the ground up and its start is looking promising. The new name of the mod is Everglow.
