    Just picked up a MaxSound plus off Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to see a USB C, Bluetooth 5 and ability to pair with another MaxSound in stereo mode. The speaker itself is fabulous, thanks to your reviews and comparisons with other speakers. Oh and the X bass button has three modes... normal, X bass and audio book.

    I think I'll give the flip 6 a pass. I'm sure some will like it but I prefer the deeper bass of the boost even if the flip has more total. I know the Bogasing m4 is bigger and heavier but do you think it could take as much of a beating as the flip 6? I'm leaning towards ordering it. You're the ONLY one I sit through all of the ads for (any ads for that matter). Many times I go back and watch again. Thank you for all of your hard work, Alan! 😁👍👏

    • @alanrossreviews
      @alanrossreviews  3 роки тому +1

      😁😁 you are the ad king 😝 it will some bashing but how much 🤷‍♂️ the issue with the m4 is that default tuning at louder volumes, low volumes default is ok then i switch to bass which is nice. but once you need the volumes the flip 6 can give you have to switch back to default tuning and its pretty bad at loud volumes. so while it can beat the flip 6 low to normal volume levels at low volumes the flip 6 shines and at high volumes it will sound better than default on m4. so volume dependant.

      That's what im saying, you are hearing Normal bass with it on, but it cuts actual bass when off. So of course turning it on and off will make you think its boosted when its not. @@dsgaming9893 Yeah. It would b nice if Tribit came out with a slightly larger more powerful version of the MaxSound Plus. Similar sound signature but with a smidge more bass. Something that could compete with the Soundcore Motion Plus and/or the JBL Charge 5. Tribit does have a large speaker but it’s omnidirectional and it sounds horrible imo.

    I just got an upgraded tribit. I'm impressed what it's doing for the size. The bass is clearly there, but yes, it's not that deep/fun bass. I feel like tribut can cover more of a range of music as to where anker is more for pop/rap/warm toned oriented. Jbls have a specific sound signature, but price is a killer.
    I have a anker motion boom for "fun" music. And a tribit soundmax for clarity.

      well thats interesting that your saying flip 6 for outside i guess because its clearer? because outside tuning to match indoor well treated room tuning would be bass boost and highs cut. these so called outdoor modes for extra volume seem to be kidding people that its actually an outside tunign when its really a volume boost due to highs being easier to drive. so you may find if you are not after volume soundcore boost is the best listen outdoors.
