I got a teenie plug of this plant today. And it wasn't cheap for the size. I'm literally salivating at the size yours 🤣🤣🤣 Also, your nails are freaking amazing!
A ton of great information in this video! And it’s good to know it’s easier than the cissus discolor as I can go grow a lot of difficult plants really well and that’s one I just struggle with, so I’m excited to hear that the Jungle Vine may fair better. Thank you!
I just bought one. Its so beautyfull. I only saw it on a rare plant online shop in the netherlands. I feel like in a while they are gonna blow up. Just like the cissus discolor. Love that one to! Thanks for the care tip on this one
Thanks for the great information. I was hesitant to get a Cissus Amazonica because of my experience with Cissus Discolor and your video convinced me to give it a try!
I got one from an Etsy seller and have been having serious issues with keeping it healthy since 😞 it’s hard to find much info on the internet on how to care for it, but I was at least able to learn something from your video! If you have any tips on reporting or the way the roots like to be kept please share! Xo
Hello from Canada. Thanks for the care tips. And thanks heaps for saying it's NOT hard to grow. There isn't enough info on the internet for this plant. I got mine in 8 inch pot a month or so ago. It was very full. However now it's left with only 19 very sad leaves, I'm not sure what's happening. Is there any way to bring it back? Should I take the dying plant out of the soil and put in water? Please help! Also I only have east and west facing window, where should I place it? Thanks.
Mine is struggling so hard. Dropping leaves. Im trying to do my “leave it alone” and see if it bounces back. It’s in a western facing window and soil is never soaking wet.
thanks for the video! I got mine a month ago and it is dropping so many leaves, I don't know why :( I am watering it once a week and it is staying in bright indirect light! Do you know why that could be? Is it dying?
In your experience, is Cissus Amazonica deciduous or evergreen? I just seen a youtuber who said here Cissus Discolour has gone dormant and shed all its leaves, as we know Virginia creeper does the same (PS: in the last few hours from writing the previous comment I went and cut a peace of Parthenocissus from our wall and planted it indoors as an experiment🤣) So, if you don't mind to shed some light on my question, that'd be just great... Thx C
That is an amazingly lush Cissus, I got one last December, it went from 2" then to now in early March 2021 - 11" and ready to take over, I also live in the UK, Maidstone, and also have it in my living room... you basically described everything I went through with mine. A fun fact if I may, Cissus amazonica is also related to Virginia creeper = Parthenocissus quinquefolia, we see it a lot growing up along walls... I wonder: could I grow the latter indoors too? 🤔🙄😁

How do you propegate it? :)
Cut the stem with a leaf and a node and then start it off in water until roots start growing
