I feel like I'm 15 again, all these bands from the 90s like Candlebox, Garbage just to name a few coming out with incredible sound. I loved Candlebox and super excited to see them back.
a little of the old energy as far as content gravity...but it's just too melodic and 'pop-ie', Kev. Grungy dirty guitar backtracks with multi-modal shred... and some screamo, at least slightly stressed vocals are what is going keep it going. You still sound good! Get the old band together; Pete and Scott didn't do shit w/ the Scottish dude (LotusCr? the writing was HORRENDOUS) and Bardi makes more touring than he does rep'ing clients at $600/hr. What's done is done, but you guys were always better than the mainstream soulsuckers...and those billionaires (today) that we watched sell out to the BIG labels... you guys had much more talent - and it was RAW. You can still get back the old groove, you just need to create a new headspace for new ideas

Although Candlebox isn't my favorite band from the Seattle scene. They're an amazing band. I've always loved their sound and Kevin's voice. Nirvana is my all time favorite then it's gotta be AIC and then I think I'd have to go with candlebox. I love Pearl Jam for sure and I like Soundgarden but I think I dig Candlebox just a bit more.

Did you catch him on the Pearl Jam Hall of Fame Induction? =) "Krusen was the second drummer for Candlebox, replacing previous drummer Scott Mercado. Krusen joined in 1997 and recorded the album Happy Pills (1998) while as a member of the band. Krusen left the band in 1999 and was replaced by Shannon Larkin of Ugly Kid Joe. Krusen completed eight tracks on the Candlebox record, Into the Sun, which was released in July 2008 and nine tracks on the latest Candlebox record, Love Stories & Other Musings, which was released in April 2012. As of 2015 he has rejoined the band."
I just can't get over how seamlessly 2 guitarists and a drummer joined the band. Just another day in the Candlebox journey it seems. Fantastic song btw. Kevin Martin is the man!
