Far Behind so describes how it feels to lose a close friend to suicide. It will be 6 years tomorrow that I list my closest friend. Although I have been clean since 97, he relapsed and just got tired of shame and guilt he felt. Definitely Far Behind right now.
Kevin, this is the song that got me clean and keeps me clean. It’s been over 23 yrs for me. I cannot even begin to express my total appreciation for what you did for me.

I have been living one day at a time for 21 years. It was long and it was hard but all worth it. Be strong and keep fighting. You are worth it!
Can we just talk about how much fun these guys STILL have playing this song? The body language and facial expression pretty much tells the story. :) I love this version.

A couple of years ago, it occurred to me that I hadn't written a song recently, and then I realized that most of my music was used as an escape from drugs, depression, anger, and all of those bad things. I tried to do online AA during the lockdown. They were having a music hangout. I played this when it was my turn, and everyone left me there by myself, but one disapproving onlooker. I din't drink over it. LOL
I wish to God I could of known of a place like that and the money was there I could go there 10 to 15 years ago.Pretty unique place apparently.And I'm a musician just not all that good but that just means tons of room to grow which is what u need as an addict. We played far behind at the memorial,I had a special little best friend he committed suicide at only 16.I haven't thought hard about it in years until today viewing these. They are lucky to be there & get that individual attention.God bless everyone battling those demons stay strong.
After beating heroin, this song means 10,000 times more to me than it ever did before. It's amazing how truly great songs can mean so many different things to just one person, or the same thing to millions of people. Thank God for your sobriety because you have been an integral part of my life! Didn’t struggle with drugs or addiction because music was my anti drug. But your music got me through some dark days of an unstable home life ❤
I wasn't a fan in the grunge days. I thought they were a weak example of the genre. However, after seeing their Loverboy cover and this, I am far more impressed with how great they sound all these years later! They do that Turn Me Loose better than the original!

Yeah, that's because none of them (aside from Kevin, the singer) were actually in the band when the song was made.
The voice is just as it was the first time I saw them in the 90s. This is such a great song it just lacks that "punch" Pete brought to it.
