Nossa! Verdade, não tinha percebido. Rebeca é o nosso orgulho 😊❤🇧🇷
She’s also a lot of fun to watch!!
Doar 9 tari au dat campioane mondiale, e greu sa intri in elita mondială.
Felicitări tuturor campioanelor mondiale.
Every time I hear Elena Mukhina's name or see video of her performance, I can't help but smile even if my heart breaks a little.
Me, too. May Elena’s memory continue to endure as a blessing.
Indeed. A beautiful young athlete who was horribly abused and then discarded.
My favourite gymnast right now is Rebeca Andrade. ❤
She is fabulous.
Over the course of a decade, Simone won every World AA she entered & she's doing more difficult gymnastics now than then. THE TRUE GOAT!
Thanks for posting! Many people forget that in the beginning of gymnastics, Worlds were not held every year! Hence why Olga Korbut and Nadia Comanici don't have medals. Worlds were also invitation only, meaning the US wasn't considered until after 1964 and often sent entire university teams! In some years, communist regimes didn't even allow their teams to travel especially if the event was held in the West! Those were the days!
Olga competed in 74 worlds…leaving with 2 gold and 4 silvers (including AA).
Nadia did complete in 78 and 79….was 4th in AA in 78 and suffered blood poisoning in 79 helping win team gold before being hospitalized.
@ArtByDesign80 Thank you for the correction. I said what I did because some people believe certain meets were not "Worlds" rather "invitationals" or "friendlies", which have a lower status than Worlds. It was really confusing back then.
The US wasn't even a power in the sport until like the 90s. Yes Mary Lou won but that was with no Russians there at all
Olga was the first gymnast I ever saw in print in a library and I wanted to do that.
Shannon Miller, Shawn Johnson, earlier favs. Weiber, from my home state of Michigan now coaching the Razorbacks, my ancestral plain. And the incomparable Biles-Owens. Definitely one of my favorites, along with Khorkina, Boginskaya, Mustafina, Andrade.
thanks for the compilation 🥰
Rebecca 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you so much for this. I remember watching most of them live. Yes, I'm that old. LOL.
Simone is UNRIVALED!
Artistry is her rival
@@iliitchwieopw Yet she still beats tf outta everyone with a lack of it.
@@tambam6744 LOL! SOOOOOOO TRUE!
I think Dobre is one of the most iconic world champion
Agreed.
Simone Da GOAT ruled...
Queens, Aurelia Dobre si Maria Olaru.🌷
Amazing video!!
REBECA ANDRADE 2022 🥇🥇🥇
Simone biles 2013
Simone biles 2014
Simone biles 2015
Simone biles 2018
Simone biles 2019
Simone biles 2023 wow 🤩
She would have won every year if she competed.
@@edwardallenmiranda3424 i always think about that lol this could’ve been her 9 th AA gold
Simone Biles ❤
1:02 -- Okay, I know the old stuff often looks tame, but that was damned impressive.
When you consider how little padding and protection the apparatus had- absolutely!
❤L
Nice video!!
O trabalho ficou incompleto, pena, muita pena.
Nádia Comaneci, corrigindo.
What happened with Morgan Hurd? It's been a while since I've seen her competing
Search UA-cam: "Morgan Hurd floor 2023" to watch it her slaying it in college, power glasses and all. ⚡It broke my heart in 2020 to watch Morgan peak athletically & mentally, and she & Simone were gonna roar into Tokyo & burn down that arena. Then came 'Rona. By the time 2021 came around, Morgan was almost not the same athlete. Loving her happy ending tho. 🥰
She had some injury issues (recurrent elbow problems that required surgery). She also had committed to the university of Florida as a gymnast and the delay to 2021 caused her to decide not to try out for the Olympic team. Sadly, her freshman year essentially never happened because she tore her acl. She competed some this year, but looked a little out of rhythm.
@@saragrant9749 she did try to tryout for the Olympic Team…she competed at Nationals but did not qualify for the Olympic Trails, and then they declined her petition to participate.
O Mundial de ginástica agora é anual?
Now it's every year except on Olympic year, when there are no world championships.
Nádia Comaneci, corrigindo.
Never a world aa champion, only Olympics.
Basically Soviet/Russian and the USA dominated worlds
Soviet meaning many countries combined, not only Russia…
Soviet Union was one Country, formed by Republics, they were not competing as Individual countries!
Soviet Union dominated because they had control of the sport- including the judges. Just ask Vera Cavlaska who was cheated out of a sole victory in the Olympics by corrupt officials. Many a superior routine was overlooked simply because of country of origin over the years.
They were never world AA champions is the reason why. Hard to believe, but it’s the truth.
Nobody was omitted. Neither Nadia nor Mary Lou ever won a world all-around title. They did win an Olympic all-around title, but that’s a separate competition.
Mary Lewd WRETCHED never even won a non-boycotted international world OR Olympic title. Please!
Sorry to insist but Mary Lou Retton won the All Around at the 1984 Summer Olympics.@@captainbryce1

2011 should have been viktoria komova, still hurts me and i will die on this hill, forever the queen no matter what
A lot of people agree with you, regarding Komova as the deserving champion.
That’s why I like Simone. There’s never any question about her wins because she wins with such a gap
@@Bxyxox LOL! So true and I think this is what some people MOST dislike about her return to gymnastics aside from her actually winning.
@@Bxyxox - Yeap. Even if you're not a gymnastics enthusiast just watching her compete and comparing her to the other girls you can clearly see she's deserving of her wins.
She would definitely have been the AA champion if her floor exercise had gone better unfortunately. Her beam also had a couple of sketchy spots. Her coaches stated after that she could definitely have had a little better day. She still got the bars title though, and another one in 2015. My biggest “oh if only” was Rio 2016. She had far and away the best bars in the world and could very definitely have won the Olympic title on them. Dratted back. What I’m hoping is she and her husband will have a daughter that follows in her footsteps. Can you imagine another like her in the future!!
Faltou Daiane dos Santos do 🇧🇷
Somente no solo.
@@wandersonfrancisco8494E ainda uma única vez.
Khorkina ate so Biles could slay
FOH!! Simone is in a class all by herself!!! 🤡
@@virginiadumitrescu7100 Sorry, but your memory is wrong. Khorkina won 3 world all-around titles (second most behind Biles), and has won 20 world championships medals (also, second most behind Biles), with 9 of them gold. She really is one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.

Amazing doping queen Simone!❤
So basically all Russians are “amazing” then since they have a state sponsored doping program in most of their sports.
