Bombastic 2020 it’s not as colourful but it’s a better map I think
I would say Scarif 2020 because its so beautiful. The lighting and graphics are so much better

I'm just disappointed that we can't play as U-wings and that the crashed AT-AT isn't an AT-ACT
AT-AT walkers need to be playable

I think the fallen AT-AT should have been a AT-ACT but without the cargo in the middle of it I think it would have made for good gameplay

Are you actually serious? BF2 is objectively better. It's graphics are better. Gameplay is mostly better. It actually has a story. There's way more heroes. I could go on. You get more for your money.

I think the destroyed AT-ATs are a little reference to the scarif Walker Assualt in Battlefront 2015
im pretty sure it's just a model to cover up sightlines and provide cover for the map xD
The sad thing is that the other AT-ATs out in the water are just regular walkers with the cargo hold hull and not an actual AT-ACT
2016 by far. They handled Scarif and this whole update in a underwhelming way.
And bf2 is sooooo unstable, and don't say it isn't, I play bf1 and bf2 BACK TO BACK, and I actually prefer bf1 in so many ways.

@@kaijuslayer3334 not in my opinion, really play both back to back, and, at least on console, bf1 is MUCH more stable, also you get stuff by doing fun stuff like playing game modes, getting kills with hero's or using specific blaster types, not just:
*GET 200 KILLS*
Hut contacts are sooooo much fun, also again, you don't have to, at least on console, try to avoid bugs and glitches by not doing specific things, like fly to close to the ground in CS, or not use some weapons because they literally don't work, hey now I'm talking about weapons, there are way more original weapons in bf1, like, bf2 has three different types of weapons, you have: mashine gun, heavy gun that shots one bullet at a time, and burst. And I guess some of those have ion shoot or explosive shoot, and like, one weapon has a secondary fire, then you see bf1, you have: mashine guns, heavy guns, burst guns, instant overheat guns, shoot as fast as you can click guns, two secondary fire guns, one switch weapon type gun, secondary's, like the scout pistol that has an extremely fast regeneration, a gun that lets you kill instantly wen melleing, most of these have both pistol and rifle varient's and you can give all of them ion shoot and explosive shoot, then you have the star cards, all free to be put anywhere you like, traits are also not a star card like in bf2 they are their own thing, wich means they are much more original, also the star cards make up for the lack of reinforcements, because you can just create your own, by using the right traits weapons and star card's, aaaaalso the gamemodes don't make me want to commit suicide after two round's, it's always the same thing, in CS you always fight on the ground for a half an hour or so, then either go up to your shop and lose, go up to the enemy ship and win, or 1% of the time you actually defend or get pushed back, and have to start it all over again, witch is not fun and very boring, also FUCKING CONSTANT BUGS AND GLITCHES, then in hero's you get pushed around or annoyed to death, that's it, I almost always come first in hero's and I fucking hate it so much JEASUS, the you have GA, witch hasn't been updated for 25 years so it's unbalanced and completely fucked, then you have the weekly fuck you, were they fuck up everything by making everyone a hero so that pretty much destroyes the game for a few days.
Then you have bf1, witch works.
Witch is better than what bf2 ever did, sure the clone wars and the sequels are in it, but they are just the same thing, just slightly better, and slightly worse.
I played bf2 from start to finish, and only now do I see, all the things I wanted from that game is already in bf1, I hope bf3 takes five years to make, because then, atleast, it will be good.

@@Argos_RB agreed, i loved the hero pickups, the sense of pressure to get them was so fun for me. Action in battlefront 1 was a lot better and felt a lot faster and skilled depending.
I don't know, I found the scarif update remarkably underwhelming, but that was probably because I was bored and tired. Scarif is still a gorgeous map, but I think I didn't like it because I don't like ot supremacy. The gamemode needs capital ships, otherwise the gamemode feels very basic and boring, at least to me.

@Joshua Hamer Those Shoretrooper skins are amazing. I love how there's Storm and Scout troopers everywhere as AI in co-op with 4 Shoretroopers in the middle of it

I like 2020s Scarif Map more, but i would prefer 2016s Scarif Jungle map brought back with nothing changed as it was my favourite map.

I feel like these maps were missed opportunity to have to larger islands connected by the train (or multiple trains) that allow you to travel in between islands and fight. Clearly they're okay changing the landscape, and I feel like it would make it super unique. Camping could be a problem but you could still travel on foot (maybe with lil islands along the way) and I mean as long as there's cover in the train I don't think it would be too bad. Idk, I think that wouldve been a cool idea

I finally played Scarif for the first time this weekend (I really wish bf2 had a map selector)
It looked like it was only at 50% contrast or something. Like the parts that were supposed to be black were grey; it just looked bland. And I miss infiltration, that is my all-time favorite game mode!

The walkers in the background of Scarif 2020 are just AT-ATs with a cargo container attachment (lazily designed). Meanwhile, the Preveus Battlefront has a legit AT-ACT in the background. You can tell the differences from their head design: AT-ACT has only two light cannons instead of two additional chin-mounted cannons, and the AT-ACT's viewing port is positioned much higher than the AT-AT. They should have used those AT-ACT from Battlefront 2015.
1:00 and 5:52. The AT-AT at background isn't AT-ACT, They are normal AT-AT but with orange body.

Battlefront 2 is great but nothing will compare to me (17 now) getting battlefront 2015 (12 years old HUGE Star Wars fan) and having never been able to play a online multiplayer game in my life it was all new I had never played Star Wars game and then I got a copy for my birthday from a art developer who works for EA and is friends with my parents. As I played it got better and better and I became a master. I completed everything, any content I would just play up and the dlc challenges. I still miss it today. Rest In Peace battlefront 2015. May the force be with you

With 2016’s Scarif it felt like you were always on the move due to the fact everyone always had the Jetpack equipped. In 2020’s Scarif the combat is more controlled and less chaotic, it can still be overwhelming when both sides contest a command post, but outside of that the Chaos of 2016’s was absent in 2020’s.
Yearlonggiant also there was not the three modes that ultimately led to the final battle on scarif unlike the first one.
The jungle map was my favorite. Sad we didn't get it.
I think supremacy on this map could have had a rebel mon cal or something, and the imperial “ship” could have been the tower at the end of the train thing. Missed opportunity dice.
What’s cool is the AT-ACTs have their own model.
you know what would be cool? if devs did put in far out of the way, basically scenic easter eggs where PVP is shut off and timed puzzles appear, sort of like early Nintendo, and this one battlefield challenge

2016 definitely, we had Jyn and Krennic, Walkers stomping across the beaches, actual objectives, a U wing, we had to collect the data plans, we had the beautiful space phase in orbit. In 2020 it’s just an island with command posts dumped on it.
I hate how everyone seemed to worship supremacy so it became the new main mode. Because it inspired laziness and lack of originality. Literally every new piece of content this year has just been a map we’ve already got with command posts added to it

I’ve only played it a couple times in BF2, and sadly was only able to play it ONCE in BF1 (I was late to the game). But due to the subtle differences, lighting, crashes vehicles and what not, I’m totally okay with believing this is a different landing pad. It’s not that hard to believe for me
Scarif 2020 because I couldn’t get the dlc in 2016 and Scarif 2020 is now one of my favorite maps.
I wish that what might have been made of scarif for battlefront 2 would have been added as ships that would be an x wing and a u wing and also a tie striker in battlefront 2 scarif.

I prefer Scarif 2016 just because it feels more like a landing platform (which is what it is) as it has more cargo ships and landing areas with TIE Strikers
