That is what I was looking for! Thanks, as always!
Glad to help!
Looks like a great priced laptop for mild usage scenarios.
A lovely one indeed. Pity that this year Intel push most makers to have LPDDR and looks like RAM upgrades for laptops will soon be a no-go 😔
Its funny that it doesn't have a Backlite keyboard because it looks like it should with the clear key cap sides
Yeah!
I like your videos so much but Man !!!
I'm in LOVE with your accent.
Thabks for the support, Abdelrahman
Chuwi did advertise it to be compatible with NVMe M.2 SSDs, but it isn’t. You can only use SATA M.2 SSDs.
The power button in the top right is something to get used to. You are tempted to press it instead of the Delete button next to it.
Both USB A and C ports are only 5 Gbps. You can’t charge it using the USB-C port.
The panel is IPS and is fine.
Chuwi has a special Valentine discount at the moment. You pay € 216 instead of € 249. Even a better deal.
Awesome summary! I also was unable to get a NVMe running, which is a bit annoying.
Does the ram Upgradable?
So it doesn't run nvme?
@@vivekanandamandal5624 RAM isn’t upgradable. Only SATA M.2 SSD is supported. But it fits a 2242 size, I did put a WD Blue SA510 2 TB in it.
The FreeBook 13.5 inch | Intel N100 | 2K Touch Screen is more expensive (wait for a discount). It has 12 GB of memory (also not expandable/replaceable), NVME SSD (I did put in a 2 TB Fastro MS200), slightly higher resolution, glossy screen (but that’s because it has a touchscreen), backlit keyboard, 2x 5 Gbps USB-C ports that both can be used to charge the laptop (no barrel jack charger, you need to use 1 of the USB-C ports and 1x USB-C 480 Mbps (I only use it sometimes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter for my mouse receiver, but would recommend to use a Bluetooth mouse instead). Somehow it’s much quieter than the GemiBook, despite having the same N100 CPU. And the power button is on the side. On the GemiBook I have disabled the power button (it’s in the top left of keyboard, where you expect the Del-key) while working on a charger. I kept hitting it and putting the laptop to sleep.
Long story, but after buying the FreeBook, I regret buying the Gemibook. I thought I would hate the glossy screen, but it’s fine. Both have a good IPS screen, keyboard and mousepad. For this price point.
I also own a Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3i Gen 8 (14” Intel), 16 GB (also soldered on the motherboard), Intel I5-12450H (4+4 cores, 12 threads. The N100 CPU has only the 4 efficiency cores of this CPU.), 2 TB Nvme, backlit keyboard, more USB ports. Yes it is better, but also more expensive, about double the price of the FreeBook.
Time to stop typing 😀
This new ncpu can play 1080 60fps UA-cam and scrolling down the video without stacking?
Yup
What about durability and build quality, is it holding up? Cuz I'm buying one now and too curious 😁
It's the part that I can't test within the period of 2-3 weeks. Check some of the reviews on Amazon.
Is this compatible with Docker app? or light programming?
Yeah, sure
I got mine 2 days ago and it is nice! However the secure boot is disabled.
What happens if you enable it?
Is the keyboard backlit?
Is the webcam 2..0 MP (Full HD, 1080p) or (
They say it is a 2MP camera, and it is kind of alright.
webcam is sucks but other functionality it considered ok..
Not bad. It performs similar to an i3 1005g1 . Enough for daily usage just not for gaming
👍👍
Its always harder to make laptop which is cheaper yet suitable for most needs
Totally!
Can i use it for autocad?
Sure
Does the ram Upgradable?
It is being discussed and addressed in the video.
@@TechMishka Yes.
Does it support nvme ssd?
Does the processor only has 0.8mhz clock speed
Oh, no, it is much faster than that.
@@TechMishka like how much is the processor clock speed can it run need for speed 2005 smoothly
@@adityakishore1702even a 10 yr old lap will run it smoothly bro😂
Can we upgrade ssd here ??
It has to be a SATA one, and sure - you can upgrade.
Does it have vga port
No.
Sir.. Is this support MS word
Sure
