We head out for a cute tourist day in the OId Town of Gdansk in Poland. We do all the best touristy things - ice cream, candy floss, scooter rides, you name it - we wanted a fun day out to show you how you can use this pocket gimbal to level up your next travel video.

Really great video guys. Just when I purchased the Smooth Q3, one year later there is a Smooth Q4. Maddening but I'm getting one soon.
How did you find your Smooth Q3?? Do you have any videos you made with it? We would love to see them. And the Q4 is great, we honestly loved using it.
@@TRIOStories I Purchased my Smooth Q3 on Amazon. I have shot many videos with it, unfortunately my portable hard drive crashed but I have a few on my Facebook page.

I have a question, how do you use the vortex mode, I try to rotate it, it does not rotate after having it on vortex mode, do advice as I love your video
Hey! We are so sorry to hear that you're having issues with the Vortex mode. Are you holding your gimbal in the 'torch' position, kind of leaning forward when trying to rotate it?

What's the maximum tilt range...can it boom, using the extension, from a low ground level shot, up to a drone-like high shot? Thanks! Keep up the good. work!
Hey! Thanks so much for your question. Yes absolutely! The extension 'stick' doesn't affect the angle of operation of the gimbal at all, so it can certainly boom from a low level shot to a high one in one motion, you would just have to make sure that any movement on the tilt axis was smooth of course, that would probably be the challenge - but it's certainly possible :)

@@TRIOStories yes, but those are mere mechanical specs...the software limits the actual use range...so I was wondering about real life range...cheers!

Thank you for your comment! So glad you enjoyed the video. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having issues with the gimbal. It's difficult to know what might be causing this. Which mode are you using the gimbal in for this to happen? I think if I understand your question correctly, you might want to use the L mode which is "Lock" in order to lock the direction the phone is facing? Could you maybe send us a video of the problem via our insta? We might be able to advise you better then, if the above doesn't help.
@@TRIOStories you know it happens at all modes except pov mode and i don't want to tilt 180 when i'm filming thats big problem , i think i push the trigger buttom and ot happened but now i can't disable it . Thanks for answer ♥️
I have a xiaomi 12 pro as well and ive been looking out for good phone gimbals...and smooth q4 has recently peaked my interest...all i wanna know if it supports the phone's native camera at 4k 60fps...

Thank you so much for your question! It really depends on how you're planning to use the gimbal. We used the native app mostly and it works absolutely fine, but you can also use the ZY Camy app if you want the additional, creative functionality :) It will definitely work great with your Xiaomi 12 pro.

@@jenalan4633 hey! This was using the native camera app in the xiaomi phone. If you have an iPhone we'd recommend using the Black Magic Camera App, if you're using android, then Filmic Pro is a great option!
Hi again, sorry to be a pain, but what Xiaomi 12 (or is it a Mi12?) do you have? my gimble is having problems with my Mi11 as i think it's too heavy...If i knew your model i could check the stats online (otherwise it may be broken or something?) any help would be most appreciated.
Hey! It's no problem at all - we are happy to help. We were using the standard Xiaomi 12 and it seemed to work absolutely fine with the weight. It might be a case of making sure that the phone is as balanced as possible on the grip mount (make sure the centre of gravity is as close to in-line with the handle of the gimbal).

I bought same gimbal today but not sure why my mobile doesn’t remain that stable as yours even in Lock mode…it rotates in all possible directions and doesn’t feel like I have full control on mobiles position…not sure is it something im doing wrong or device is not setting the modes accurately.

I was wondering for ages what the phone was (i kept bloody rewinding) then on the next segway says it's the Xiaomi 12 (next on my list as i have the Mi11) ironically i'm getting this gimble this week (for my 50th BD treat to Rome/Naples/Sorrento) so these tips are gonna come in use, so by default, you get a sub👍

I'm due to get this gimble in a few days, but i've heard nothing but bad news about the ZY cami app (on Android) as mentioned before you are using a Xiaomi Mi 12 (i have the Mi 11) I've heard you can only record to internal memory (so no SD card or USB OTG) is this true? also do you *have* to pay for a subscription? also i hear about it losing connectivity (bluetooth) etc...Is there any other apps compatible with the Q4? (i've heard of Filmic pro- but it costs a fortune) and StaCam (but from i could see initially it can't do 4k 60fps??? -it's just grayed out?) any others?? P.s i'm trawling through your vids for other tips)
@@SeeDaRipper... Hey! Glad to hear you're going to pick up a Q4 - it really is a lot of fun and you will enjoy it for sure.
In terms of app connectivity - we are not the best people to ask probably, because we have only ever used it with the native app (not controlling the gimbal through the app and only using the functions on the gimbal itself for changing settings) and Filmic Pro.
We have also only ever recorded to the internal memory of the phone, but with our version having 256GB internal space, it has never been an issue in terms of capacity.
Sorry that we're not able to be of much help! Usually the gear we test out is pre-production, so it doesn't have all of the functionality (especially often, it can't connect to a mobile app yet), so we are not the best people to ask about this bit!

OMG I need help! I have watched so many tutorials of this thing and still cannot get mine to work. Had a balloon flight I wanted to film and had to leave my Zhiyun Smooth Q4 at home as it just goes wild. HELP! Please 🙏
