Today’s story is all about the infinite love of a mother and her son, who once lived together in this tiny Southern home.
Travis was still at a young age when he lost his dearest father Leo, leaving his mother Mrs. Queen reliant on raising her son alone.
Travis's childhood wasn't too rosy, and he struggled with drug problems due to the loss of his father which hit him hard in his teenage years. He was admitted to an addiction clinic and was treated for his drug problem, and began to focus on brighter things in life. He loved playing basketball and his mother was his biggest supporter.
Years passed, also Mrs. Queen’s health deteriorated. She was hospitalized several times and since there was little money in the family, Travis worked extra hard to provide for his mother’s hospital bills. This was at the expense of the maintenance of the house, which had already fallen into a state of disrepair during its occupied years.
The house was last occupied in the summer of 2018 - The year that Mrs. Queen passed away and Travis moved to another place.
Ever since, nobody ever retrieved all their countless memories, and the importance of faith and religion is still wonderfully reflected within its walls.
Let me take you into this little house today, that tells hundreds of stories.

A sweet house with both wonderful, loving and tragic stories to tell.
So sad about this young boy, and thinking about his mother having to go thru a hard time and raising her boy by herself but thru her faith she did her best thru her last breath may she be resting in peace, but yet there so many kids out there going thru the same thing my heart go out to them ,Bless them all, I also went thru hard times went I was child but with faith you can do it.

Despite the decay this house is very cute, but the history of this family is very sad and it is even sadder to see the house so dear to the family being abandoned. Thank you for another very respectful tour of a special family's home. I too enjoy the small humble homes. This family struggled through hard times, but seems there were many joyful times too. Such a sad tale. So glad Travis went to recovery from addiction, my brother has been clean for over 30 yrs now. This cottage is adorable despite the decay that has happened.

I think maybe the roof may have been leaking for sometime when Travis's mother passed away and in just three years and it got badder Very nice small home

Love this viedo ( honestly love them all ) but I did some Googling and saw back in 2013 I think in July Travis and 9 or 10 other friends which all was a gang beat up 2 brothers 1 was pretty seriously hurt. They had warrants out for Travis and few others. Hopefully all of them are OK. Love those pictures of the family what sweet memories they were.

The machine on the floor in the bedroom is an air conditioner. Much more common down south than heaters.
Hi Maureno, the painful effort to try n live, but money doesn’t care,This sweet little family couldn’t hold together,w/ the trials to hit a humble way of life. The son wanting to numb the pain of loss.some who think people who get money aids that are rude and call their help entitlements,don’t understand the desperation,especially when they don’t have others to check on them sometimes.Maybe she was on wrong medications that escalated her into worse health.It’s not easy to make friends if they’re struggling and not feeling well.Always try to show love how much we can no matter what others may be like.💖🙏😁👏✅Thanks for your video !

That's a sad story. This guy Travis was traumatized twice by the death of his parents. No wonder why he couldn't come back to the house to take his belongings and memories 🥺 but i hope he is still alive and doing okey, and he can be able to come back, one day! It's such a cute little house filled with memories and pain. But mostly love and affection! I really like the beautiful relationship that Queen and her son had. May both the parents rest in peace. This story is so sad, a young man who lost a father in a very young age , then lost his mother later on in life as well, I am not wonder why he left the house abandoned, his heart must be broken , sad to see some Strangle of keeping the house standing and keeping life going, thank you for showing not just a glamorous mansion but also a home , the place there is love

I'm so glad to see Maureno! This is so sad! That's a very small house! The heater on the floor is actually an Air Conditioner, it goes in the window to cool a room in the summer or heat rooms in winter

Hi Maureno, fyi the item at 13:54 is an air conditioner that gets put in the window to cool the room. The humidity can make it seem extremely warmer than it really is so the air conditioner will help by removing a lot of the moisture from the air.

Looking at the decay of the house, I have to conclude that the large pots in the bathroom were used to heat water on the stove in order to have a warm or hot bath because the water heater was not functioning. Also, the white "heater" in the master bedroom is an air conditioner to cool the air because Georgia summers are hot and humid.

I have watched your channel for a few years now. Just because you see pictures of Jesus and scriptures, does not always mean "Catholicism". There are many different religions, especially in the U.S.A. I have questioned myself while watching the last year of your videos. I understand you are trying to figure out the family and abandonment of places, but sometimes it seems you take a very liberal guess as to what happened. Please, don't guess.
