thank you for sharing I love this old home place i have allways been interested in old home places all ways had since childhood iam 48 now and still am love to have an old place like that if it was mine i would fix it up as close to as original back when to was a farm and start my on farm thank y'all again y'all take care
@ 7:58, that is called a "Crock Pot" its a device that allows you to prepare almost an entire meal in it. You would place a large piece of meat in it along with potato/carrot/onion/spices/ and water and you would turn it on in the morning and by the time you would get back home 8-12 hours later, it would be done cooking and your house would be filled with a delicious aroma. Its one of my favorite methods of meal preparation in the colder months.
I can see that the home is used seasonal for hunting on the 100 plus acres . It has so much evidence and presence of men utilising the cabin. Nice documentary!
Are we sure this place isn't still being used occasionally for hunting? Maybe they haven't used it a few years, but it almost doesn't look abandoned, just underutilized.
That's no cabin! That is a gorgeous old farmhouse...with 4 fireplaces! It has the original cabinets in the kitchen too! That fold out cabinet wasn't meant as a trash can, it was to store potatoes or onions. It still has original light fixtures and the glass door handles. Gosh I'd love to move this house to a nice property and fix it up...it's not in bad shape at all.
That's what the younger generation see, tell it how they see it, heaven forbid if they studied up on it first to know what they were talking about, that would mean an extra effort. The pull out bin was also used for flour because it was constructed in such a manner if you happened to have a mouse it couldn't get in your flour. Did you notice the beautiful cabinet with the enamel top, I loved it, so sad that stuff is just going to go to ruins, sinful. I am with you would give anything to have the home the contents in the home, some valuable things in there, so sad. Home is no good now to far gone. It seems it is always those who receive who don't appreciate, don't value, are not grateful, if I had of inherited the home I would of shown my gratitude by keeping it well taking care of, everything would of been spotless, kept up.
Nice to see you both Lesley and Maureno. Ireally enjoyed this video with an untouched abandoned hunter's, house it's so beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us, goodluck to your next adventure, take care always🙏😍😺😇🇵🇭
It's definitely a deer camp. It's a big deal in many states. Guys get together, families get together. Freezers full of meat n good times! Bringing lots of good food.
Hello Maureno! I really enjoyed this beautiful cozy white house in Georgia. Hope one day the house will be restored for more great memories. Thanks for the tour.
This house is so timeless. I do sincerely hope that everyone involved comes to an agreement about this place. It definitely was a place that not only the family but friends of the family came to enjoy. I am sure that it has a lot of great history. It hasn't been that long so there could be hope for the place. I really loved what you said about littering in the woods. It is definitely a problem in the United States.
So good to see you Maureno and Lesley together. I bet it was a sweet little house when it was used on the every day basis probably in the late 1800s early 1900s. This was a great find! Thank you so much for documenting it. Sending love from California🤟🏻💜😎🇺🇸
Look closely at the panels on the lower part of the kitchen it gives clues to the age of the house. In the mid to late 1800's houses would have an "open" kitchen which was open to the elements to prevent food smells from entering the home. This structure would consist of three walls and be open to the great outdoors except it would have a roof above it. Later, the kitchen was given a fourth wall and enclosed probably in the 1920's or 1930's.
Just so you know, at least in Pennsylvania there are cabins all over that seem abandoned but are hunting cabins. People from New Jersey, New York, and other states own hunting cabins and properties up here in the mountains they come visit just for specific hunting seasons. JC
In that lower cupboard in the kitchen at, 7:48 that's called a crock pot also known as a slow cooker. You can put anything from a steak or a roast or even spaghetti sauce, it would cook it. By the refrigerator, that's known as a hot water heater. We do use boilers here in North America like the wall hung units in Europe, but mainly for hot water, but people do use them for heat as well.
My god it is such a reminder of a simpler time .i am so happy i grew up back then before cell phones and computers in every house and kids that sit playing video games and not getting exercise great. Video guys
7:51 crock pot / slow cooker. They're great for cooking beef or chicken slowly. There are cookbooks just for slowcookers 9:17 a lot of slow cooker recipes call for cream of mushroom soup. Delicious gravy when beef is slowcooked in it. 23:28 i believe that home is around 100 years old or more. If you have the address, you can look it up on county property records by the address and find out when that house was built. 13:31 Also that huge building next to the house in the photo is a barn. Hay would be stored in the loft above (the doors open and you can toss the hay out onto wagons) and horses below.
Lovely home. My daughters going to have a baby and cant even find an apt. here in Calif. Dang. Abandoned homes are unbelievable to us. This home would rent for thousands.
In PA, homeless nearly a year. Prices are absurd and jobs are limited. Funding has been run dry bc it's become such a problem. Hope all is well with your family. The flooding and storms in CA are horrifying. JC
Maureno I found your channel EX several years ago and then about 8 months later I found Leslie's channel Bro's of Decay. I've always dreamed of seeing you both collaborate and here we go. Special guest appearance from Leslie on your channel. Love you both and be safe.
You are absolutely 1000% correct. People don't appreciate our beautiful nature not to mention the wildlife that struggling to live because we're cutting into their habitat building homes and shopping malls. I see it every day going to and fro. Really sad. 😥
You're so right. We have apartments on the southeast side called Fox Run Apartments & a newer housing addition on the north west side of Wichita that's called Fox Run ( too ) You can see packs of little red foxes in the early morning hours as they're climbing in & out of the street drainage & waste bins. They're being ran out of their habitats thus the name FOX RUN. Others mention deer hunting to keep the deer population down so we don't hit them with our cars. We're encroaching on their homes & killing wildlife at a fast rate. I think almost everyone I know's hit a deer or knows someone that has. Had a 21 year old try to miss hitting a coyote out south of town recently & flipped his van, died at the scene. Sadly he lost his life saving an animal that would probably eat him if it was hungry enough. We're afraid of them out here as there's huge packs of them. Pulled up in the yard about 3am to a sea of eyeballs, about 15 of them in the front yard, was very intimidating. Have to learn to live with them around though it's their world too.
The whole thing is terribly sad, when it comes to the animals. That is just what they were using that old home for was hunters at hunting time, the very reason for all the small beds, toilet paper, hunting clothes, spelling bags, deco deer, it was all in that home for that sole reason. There is 100 acres for hunting, the care giver is more than likely making real good money off that. The house is open so we know he is checking regularly or the place would be destroyed as that home has been empty for a long time for people living in it. It is sad, sinful that all the valuable antiques are just being left there to go to ruins, beautiful things that will never be able to replace. It seems that nothing seems to have any value any more, sad so true, few people value anything anymore, especially if it involves work, taking care of, not their thing, takes energy !!!.
Such a beautiful older southern style home. I don't care for hunting myself, but had family members that hunted just to fill their freezers and to share with many others, so I can respect that part of it. The folks must have had a great time gathering together there. The home had some feminine touches too. Sure hope the family can bring this wonderful property back to life. Georgia is so beautiful. I have family that live on the North Carolina/Georgia boarder, so I am partial to the area. Thanks guys for another great and very respectful explore. Take care and be safe.
Hey guys! ❤️ This is my 3rd exploration with you all in Georgia. Very nice home used as a hunting lodge. The items in the closet near the kitchen were for members to use if they needed them. There was a crock pot for slow cooking on high for 4 hours on low for 8 hours and a toaster oven, not a microwave. The jugs held kerosene for the white heaters you saw that had thick wires around them if it got cold enough. Members paid 500.00 several years back to go down and have deer to bring back to N.C. a lot because they are plentiful but better for their not-so-gamey or wild tasting. My brother used to do this with 5 guys from our area in the mountains. I would guess reservations were made in advance and dues paid well before the season opened. Maybe the year or more ahead and plans to keep it for 5 years was what usually happened. Hunters are known to be good men and would never damage the lodge. Maybe down for COVID. I hope it gets started back soon because it is needed and plenty of deer there now! Thanks for this I interesting explore ❤
I've just finished watching this while having a cup of tea there were so many rooms what a lovely place. I also thought about how many people that may have come through the home over the years. so sad to see it abandoned hopefully one day life will return to its walls. Thanks Maureno another pleasantly made explore.
Beautiful home! Nice to have that land to hunt on 🥰🥰 those cans of soup here in states we do different dishes to bake with and sometimes some makes gravy for potatoes ❤ hopefully someone got the property and gives it much love as it had 🤩 don't see it as central air/heat but still beautiful home
I like your comment about trash. As for myself, I haven't seen someone throwing trash out their vehicle window in a long long time. I have however, see trash or items flying out of the back of pick up trucks and garbage trucks. There is a lot of trash along the side of the road where I live and the cause of it is the garbage trucks running to the dump. You would think of all people, waste management would set a better example!
Your absolutely right on this. I have to come out to the front of my house every Thursday to make sure that the garbage truck and the men do not let garbage fall out of the truck as it goes up the street . I have had to pick up trash that they dropped and didn't bother to Bend down and pick up. People also over fill their trash containers to the tops and then it falls out and down the street as the wind blows it around. Waste management is to blame for not addressing this problem with their employees and not notifying the customers about being more responsible in keeping their garbage inside the containers and not on the ground.. 8 yrs. Of this on my street. It's the people.
I love Georgia! This quaint hunting lodge is really well equipped for hunters. Sad to know their is a family feud going on as to who gets what. I also, commend you on your respect showing us this property. Also, we always could use the advice to “Keep America Beautiful” picking up the trash.
Hi buddy !! Hope all is well with you and much better.??:) Nice and wonderful to see another video usa style from you Maureno .:)Respect and Much love with Peace out USA:)
Hey guys!! Hope all is well. I never would've thought that one day y'all would come to America. Welcome to America! I'm in Charlotte, NC. I love your dedication, style and that you disclose as much history as you can, makes it even more exciting. Keep up the good work and safety always 1st. Take care. Yours truly. Desiree Pittman
9:30 .... This compartment was for potatoes to keep them fresh and away from critters. The kitchen cabinets were built in the 1930's as evident by the hinges which are known as butterfly hinges commonly found on handmade solid hardwood cabinetry from the 1930's.
Wow awesome fine. This was sure an amazing big house and a lot of stuff left behind. Those beds looks like it might had been from the 60s. Great video Maureno. Take care💕👏🏼
Hello, for many families here in the states we depend on the meat to get us through the year. Another reason for deer hunting is that the population quickly gets out of hand if not for the hunters. We are seeing a decline in the number of hunters with the older population dying and not many younger hunters filling the spots. This can result in overpopulation which is a big problem when it interferes with the crop from local farmers (deer herds eating the crops for the food supply or to feed the cows). We also see a raise in vehicle accidents involving deer (which can be deadly for both the deer and the people in the car). Before "the new world" was settled, the native populations also hunted and white tail deer were one of their main sources of food, hides for clothing, antler (used for multiple things), etc. I understand that it's not for everyone but it is something many families depend on. We do have trophy hunters but for most it's to feed the family. Not to mention its a lean meat (less fatty) and healthier.
Hi Maureno Explomo...as always fantastic Video📹🔝🤩💯... Thank you for bahasa Indonesia subtitle...all the best for Explomo👌💪from subscriber and big fan watching from Indonesia🙏☺🌏
Nice. Love that kitchen. And hallway. Here in the States we have hunting regulations. I’m pretty old so I can say from experience that hunting has help us in really tight times. Thinking we’re heading there again
Interesting look into an old farmhouse. I was sad to see it lost its farmhouse charm to become what it is now. Hopefully the family will sort out their differences and the house van be restored to a home. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
FYI--Zenith was very popular at the time. Crockpot--can be used for more than a cup of soup. Can cook many things. not microwave but a toaster oven, dresser, and chest of drawers not sideboard A lot of people eat deer meat and other game. Steak House card
You are soooo right about the garbage on the sides of our highways and other areas. I see this all the time and I can't understand why anyone would do this. It's shameful when someone like yourself who is from another country, makes this observation and is a reproach to this state. You are absolutely correct in your statement and I agree with you. Garbage does not fall from the sky... people throw it wherever they please.they just don't care. You don't see this in other countries. I hate it.
Reminds me the house my grandparents lived in with the screened in porch. Cosy, homey little home. ❤️ You would also find out that those that hunt use the deer meat. They have the animal processed. A person that hunts are only allowed one deer by shooting and one by bow hunting. Only certain time of the year, they cannot hunt all the time. The mama’s and baby deer are not hunted. They have to have a hunting permit. Hunting keeps the deer population down otherwise they become to overpopulated for themselves to live and also become a danger to the highways. Many people are injured or killed by deer leaping on to the road ways. What most people don’t realize is deers are attracted to the vehicle head lights. Yes, there is fencing along the road but they do leap it. This house definitely was someone’s house for a group to come hunting. I, nor my husband are hunters but we know people that hunt.
I got that same sort of feeling as well. My grandparents loved hosting dinners at the inside porch area of their cottage on the lake. I miss those days.
In New York State you have to have your deer processed by an approved and registered facility and the facility will donate the meat to places approved by the state. Just in case someone wants to do it. I'm sure the DEC has a list on their website of approved facilities.
Love this video.. not much on hunting defenseless critters but the explore you did was great! Love to you and lesley.. little chihuahua, peanut sends his love, Maureno.. from deep in the heart of Texas.. and oh, we still love living in America 🇺🇸 🇨🇱🤠🤠💖😘🥰

Reminds me of my old house! Love this, nice to see some things untouched! I hope that you are doing well, and things are coming back together for you! Nice explore! Take care and blessings!
Hi Maureno & Lesley. In America in the South many homes were built with what is called a Dogtrot 22:07 "That is the wide long hallway from the front to the back of the house" also know sometimes as a Breezeway.
Most likely the house was used as a deer lease. Several people would buy into the lease then use it on the weekends. Sometimes even coming during the off season. Here in Texas lots of times a travel trailer that is pulled behind a truck is put onto a property if a house isn't there. I have several friends that have deer leases. They treat them like weekend getaways.
Heyy, dear bro Maureno, so lovely to see you again in a new video! - It was absolute amazing to see the interior with all the personal items in that house still so untouched. And - of course additionally very pleasant to see also Lesley in your video! - The place was looking as if the owners would return at any moment again, considering the still very pristine state of the interior of that house. I would also agree to you presuming , that this might be a second home for the owners, especially because the home is very well equipped and made such a cozy and comfortable impression. I can also follow easily your very ambivalent feelings about hunting, because I also don't like the sight of taxidermy objects, even if they are very well made. Additionally I loved your very respectful approach to the life and the belongings of the former owners of that property. - I especially also loved your statement about saving the nature. Great! - Thank you for sharing this interesting location with us viewers. I am of course already looking forward to your next Urbex adventure. - I fullheartedly hope, that your health condition has already improved. - Stay safe and take care, dear bro! - Many hugs, peace and kindest regards.
Haven’t heard from you on utube in ages. I thought my tshirt was abandoned channel??glad you are in America! Why is your camera man our original speaker from two years ago? Where is his partner that quit? You seem to go back and forth between this and explorers?? Most hunters if they are good to environment, have them butchered and eat the roasts, jerkee, sticks so not a waste.
Gracias Maureno, una encantadora casa de campo la narración fue apacible ,relajante, esperamos verte en nuevas exploraciones, mantente saludable salvo y fuerte.
Hello Maureno! Very cozy house. But probably in the last years only the owner or family used in the time of hunting. I am hope anyone go in inside because I am thinking the hunting clothes are expensive. I am hope you are returning to your medical school. I am sending one big hug 🤗😍😉
Really enjoyed exploring this home, so exciting to discover what was being used and possibly learn about who lived in these properties Thank you so much for sharing all of these places Many blessings and safe travels 😊
It's nice to have two overviews of an abandoned home...I saw Lesley's exploration a month ago. You two are awesome to watch.
The feeling you captivated in the intro with the music and cinematic photos is potent. I felt the emptyness and forgotten memories trapped inside the home. Brilliant! Mad Love and respect.
Thanks!
Thank you very much Tammy! 🤗
Maureno, I'm not saying you look old but since I last watched your videos, I can tell that you've grown and matured.

Moc krásná nemovitost.o))))))❤❤❤❤❤,děkuji velmi za ukázku chlapi.o))Jana-Česko

Hello Lesley nice to see you too.:)
Maureno, it's wonderful to see you again. We heard that terrible things happened to you in America. I trust you are back in Belgium.

I already missed seeing more videos of you, thanks for continuing to share with us, greetings from El Salvador
It’s good to see you in the USA. Have fun.
9:30 .... This compartment was for potatoes to keep them fresh and away from critters. The kitchen cabinets were built in the 1930's as evident by the hinges which are known as butterfly hinges commonly found on handmade solid hardwood cabinetry from the 1930's.
That sounds nice, do you enjoy lesly videos?
Pretty interesting how it is so clean
Great video! Loved seeing you and Lesley! ❤❤👏👏👏
Nice hunting cabin .. thank you for the fun!!
Thank you Maureno ❤️
Wow awesome fine. This was sure an amazing big house and a lot of stuff left behind. Those beds looks like it might had been from the 60s. Great video Maureno. Take care💕👏🏼
Hello Maureno, neither i see a point of shooting harmless animals. Thanks for such an interesting video.❤️👍
Spot lights , cameo clothes, tree stands, enough beds for a group of hunters ! Wow what a house.
Lovely explore! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Maureno! I'm loving this colored details! It's a magic dream! This video was very well selected! 👏👏🇧🇷 I don't like taxidermia either! I hate this!

Hi Maureno Explomo...as always fantastic Video📹🔝🤩💯... Thank you for bahasa Indonesia subtitle...all the best for Explomo👌💪from subscriber and big fan watching from Indonesia🙏☺🌏
Hello explomo fantastic program 👍👍👍
Nice. Love that kitchen. And hallway. Here in the States we have hunting regulations. I’m pretty old so I can say from experience that hunting has help us in really tight times. Thinking we’re heading there again
Nice video😁👏
Interesting look into an old farmhouse. I was sad to see it lost its farmhouse charm to become what it is now. Hopefully the family will sort out their differences and the house van be restored to a home. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
FYI--Zenith was very popular at the time. Crockpot--can be used for more than a cup of soup. Can cook many things. not microwave but a toaster oven, dresser, and chest of drawers not sideboard A lot of people eat deer meat and other game. Steak House card
Nice 👍 video guys Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
I love that home and land, reminds me of farm's here in west virginia, farm houses are the best.
I hate it.
Hola Maureno y Leslei.Muy linda casa ,muy confortable en sus tiempos.Cariños desde Argentina 😘🇦🇷🇦🇷😘
Yay Maureno! Great explore! Hope you are doing well! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for another excellent video! Trash everywhere on highways thru out United States...not like Europe...truly a shame.
Beautifuly documented. U guys r so respectful always when exploring these abandoned homes. Very much enjoyed today’s video! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯💯💯💯🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also, some hunters donate the meat to food banks for the needy. Vinson, is very healthy, low cholesterol , low fat meat.
In New York State you have to have your deer processed by an approved and registered facility and the facility will donate the meat to places approved by the state. Just in case someone wants to do it. I'm sure the DEC has a list on their website of approved facilities.
Might still be used for that.
It reminds me of my Uncles farm house close to Joplin Missouri.
Gracias por mostrarlos hermosa casa intacta estas personas eran amantes de la naturaleza y de la caza
Amen Maureno about littering!!!

Reminds me of my old house! Love this, nice to see some things untouched! I hope that you are doing well, and things are coming back together for you! Nice explore! Take care and blessings!
Yes, I agree ,,there are a lot of disrespectful people in America
Hi Maureno & Lesley. In America in the South many homes were built with what is called a Dogtrot 22:07 "That is the wide long hallway from the front to the back of the house" also know sometimes as a Breezeway.
Fantastic video!!!Stay safe out there.😀
Thank you so much! I will :)
Gracias cómo siempre por mostrar ésas casas, muy bonita, espero su próxima exploración un besote gigante ✌️
- It was absolute amazing to see the interior with all the personal
items in that house still so untouched. And - of course additionally very pleasant to see also Lesley in your video! - The place was
looking as if the owners would return at any moment again, considering the still very pristine state of the interior of that house.
I would also agree to you presuming , that this might be a second home for the owners, especially because the home is very
well equipped and made such a cozy and comfortable impression. I can also follow easily your very ambivalent feelings about
hunting, because I also don't like the sight of taxidermy objects, even if they are very well made.
Additionally I loved your very respectful approach to the life and the belongings of the former owners of that property. - I especially
also loved your statement about saving the nature. Great! - Thank you for sharing this interesting location with us viewers.
I am of course already looking forward to your next Urbex adventure. - I fullheartedly hope, that your health condition has already
improved.
Миллионы 👏 благодарностей каналу 👍 комментарий в поддержку и продвижение ваших трудов 💚💚💚👍
Thanks I hope the family takes care of it or sells it to someone who will.

Hello Maureno! Very cozy house. But probably in the last years only the owner or family used in the time of hunting. I am hope anyone go in inside because I am thinking the hunting clothes are expensive. I am hope you are returning to your medical school. I am sending one big hug 🤗😍😉
Ugh!!!! I know Maureno! People throw trash all over. It is terrible. Hope it will change one day.
Really enjoyed exploring this home, so exciting to discover what was being used and possibly learn about who lived in these properties
Thank you so much for sharing all of these places
Many blessings and safe travels 😊
