This one really resonated with me Billy. You probably don’t remember but the last time I played with you your comment was that the shape of my swing needed to be corrected. I think this video addresses my issue in that regard. Thanks Billy! Hope all is well!
Excellent, and concise, video. Please make more. I'm going to give this a try. I've been trying to avoid over-the-top, so intentional looping may just be the best path to an inside swing.
Good stuff. I've been doing the opposite, listening to certain instructors with certain swing methods (no names mentioned) who WANT the club inside and it's just inconsistent. I'm gonna swith to this. I hit some balls doing this and the club wants to shallow without directing it. Thanks.
Hey Pro, really good stuff here. Is it possible that this outside feel then reroute to shallow move promotes a better loading of the club at top ie. a slight pause that allows for speedier club speed at impact? I’m an arm swinger & wondering if this loop actually helps with a more natural turn back, thx again
I worked on this yesterday and I hit 2 of the cleanest shots I’ve ever hit but I hit tons of shots behind the ball and my divots were ice cream scoop and 4 -6 inches deep
Love this! Imagine in your minds eye sort of a figure 8. As a drill start your club extended half way in front of you towards your lead side then draw back to the outside for the first part of figure 8
What do you say to a coach who wants to see you with super closed shoulders at address and come low and inside on the takeaway? I feel like I have decent contact DESPITE this approach.
Hi Collin…I’m not sure what your dealing with swing wise but a lot of working with students involves exaggerated feels to understand certain concepts…ask questions to understand the concept the teacher is presenting. A lot of different ways to do it.
Some people need different degrees of this. Your body turning pulls your arms in already so most need to feel a little up and out of the arms to balance the motion. I would error on the side of out rather than in so your arms don’t get stuck.

I like the out, up and away thought, tried it today and worked. I think the trouble comes when extending the arms off body to move club head out.
I’m glad it helped..thanks for watching👍⛳️
Excellent presentation, just late in golfing journey but still very useful even for a golfer in his eighth decade.
Glad it was helpful!..thanks for watching ⛳️👍
Great video! Thanks.
Thanks Zack 👍⛳️
Nicely explained I will definitely be working on this advice thanks. 😊👍🏻
Thanks for the note and thanks for watching Laurence👍⛳️

As the momentum of the club works back and up away from the ball it helps pull your trail shoulder/hip out of the way of the downswing

Shane… make sure your shoulder sockets aren’t locked up so your arms have the freedom to move independently from your body
@@BillyFitzgeraldGolf ok I will ty
The shallowing down is what is tricky for me.
Start small with little pitch shots to get the feel of the overall motion and work into the big stuff.

My swing thought is a figure of eight swing path Billy when I feel I am beginning to become over the top 🏌️👍😃
I like it 👍. Keep up the good work ⛳️
@@BillyFitzgeraldGolf you too Billy, love the videos they are real gamechangers for me cheers Martin 😃

Hmm.. that seems like it would promote your arms and hands going away from your body on take away.. Ryan More loops it but he’s hands in club out???

I putt with a loop
Hi Jean..thanks for watching 👍⛳️. If it works keep looping 👍
