I really like your videos. They help me to know where to start and what to think about so I can make the best choice and have minimal regrets when the job is done. Complementing tones make be feel good. 👍
I absolutely love your videos - this one really helped me out. I feel like I can better see undertones from reviewing your videos and that has really helped with a lot of paint decisions lately. Thanks for all the effort you clearly put into these.
I have a Venetian gold granite countertop and I’m trying to paint my wooden finished countertops to match it. ( new countertops not in budget and wood cabinets too dated imo). I tried SW alabaster swatch but I fear it’ll make the counter look muddy or dingy. Thanks for posting these videos.
After MUCH testing of the most popular colors, including most of these, I found that SW Aged White was the perfect wall color choice for my warm tone floor tile. I’d love to see a review of it and also Casa Blanca-2 underrated colors! Love your videos, they’re my first go-to for information!
I absolutely love these videos….. but I’m also finding I can’t quite see the complimentary colors as easily as you. I have been struggling with choosing a cabinet color for my kitchen with busy warm dark countertops, warm floors, and backsplash that needs replaced or painted. And….sit down for this…. White appliances!!! Yikes. I’m absolutely overwhelmed and my husband thinks I’m crazy. I considered Revere Pewter but I prefer to lean more beige than gray….. but limiting yellow/pink/purple? And with limited natural light so can’t be muddy. Every video I watch leaves me more confused on what color to use…. And even more sure that you are phenomenal at what you do!!!! Girl you’ve got a knack and you work magic. ❤
And you have to consider LRV in a room without loads of natural light. Her “magic range” for LRV was way too dark for our living/ dining/ kitchen! We found a discontinued color from Valspar that has the most pure beige/ tan undertone with NO SNEAKY undertones. But that was after we painted half the house in a color that turned PINK.
Ooo, that is TOUGH! It totally depends on the undertones in the finishes and what they love. Remembe,r some kitchens were created around wood cabinets, not painted ones. Depending on the finishes, sometimes there isn't a color that everythign can agree on! I'd say off the TOP of my head, check out BM Maritime White and SW Moderate White :).
That was fascinating! Thank you for showing us the process of matching colors. Very helpful!
You are so welcome!

What a great note to read, thank you!

Great choices ! 🤍
Thanks! 😊
What is the quartz tile sample you use at the end with Ballet White? Thanks!

Oh heck yes, while I haven't done much with Aged White, i LOVE Casa Blanca!
I love creamy off-whites. Sometimes they look green when there is a garden outside 🙂
SO true, they easily pick up their environment!

BM Gentle Cream appears to be the most flexible with other finishes. I love it and SW Creamy.
YES, Gentle Cream is awesome as it has more of a beige base compared to many more yellow-creams!
I am surprised you didn't mention Muslin.
Oooo, i DO love Muslin, but it's actually more of a beige!
