I am loving these videos. This really helps to establish concepts of colour in my mind. Thank you very much for the time and effort to put these videos out. ❤
I LOVE how you teach! You explain and show lots of examples! First rate, thank you! I have so many samples coming for my van build, and I cant wait do compare them all! Backsplashes, paint colors, quartz, and floors! Woo hoo let the fun begin! ;-)
Ahhhh, I SO love to see this, thank you so much! And it really is fun once you understand a bit more about it! If you come across something you'd like to see a video on, let me know. If it has mass appeal, I'll do it!
Very interesting video 💛 I ended up choosing a white for my apartment after 7 samples of whites tested on my walls 😆, with the help of your blog, your videos. Articles on exposure (north, east, south, west), light in kelvin are essential. "Pure white" by Sherwin Willams is terrible in my house 😅 they say the color of unpainted gypsum (cold beige gray) I'm exposed east a little north, big disappointment this color in my house. On the other hand, the happiness of having found after a lot of research and testing 💛💛💛, with your precious advice I knew more about which area to align my research with.
Thank you for wonderfully informative videos! I am wondering if there is a go-to white paint for ceilings that will coordinate well with most wall colors for congruency and consistency throughout a home?
Kylie, fascinating! Whites do present their own set of challenges and rewards. I suppose when dealing with the subtle nuances of whites light temperature could also, to a varying extent, be a contributing factor.
ABSOLUTELY! Because whites have such high LRVs, they reflect more light, so if you give them a warm or cool light - or a tinted one, they'll definitely pick it up! Generally, I love around 3000K.
I am about to paint my entire house. Should I do the same with flooring in comparing the floor to the paint undertones? For example, I plan to do white oak floors. Should the white have those undertones so they don’t clash? Right now I am considering SW Greek Villa 😢
@@KylieMInteriorsPaint thanks! Thoughts on white dove in north facing homes? I reviewed your video of north facing paint colors but most I have tried do not accomplish the white or warm white look.
When you realize that all the videos you've watched that taught you how to pick paint colors were completely lacking the pertinent information on how to do so. This is the information to actually get it right. Thank you for these videos.

@@KylieMInteriorsPaint Well noted.....
About to pull the trigger on Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo with BM white dove cabinets. I'm worried everything will look a bit too warm.
Have you compared White Dove to SW Pure White to see if that feels better???

Hey! White oak can be friendly with tons of whites! Yes, check out Greek Villa, PUre White and BM White Dove, too.
