Titaniumman, you have done an excellent job with that front hub electric schematic, full of the necessary information for general maintenance, prevention is better than cure, I hinted before that you should offer spare parts second hand and new aftermarket parts, you would do well.
But do not get hooked on the same business mindset of ripping people off, the turn over will bring you well clear off the bar and you will help the community, both in America or across the Pacific.
Amazon and eBay rip people off and that makes people stay away from hobbies, because they cannot afford to buy spare parts, we all have limited financial resources, you can help with that, identifying good second hand parts and making them available to those less fortunate that you, and do the same trick with the aftermarket parts.
    Hasta la vista amigo.

Just wondering if you can do a simple wiring diagram of a 1999 Polaris sportsman 335 4x4. Thanks

I have the same problem with my 1993 trail boss 350. Ordered brand new magnets and they didn't work:( Hooked them directly to a car battery and still nothing. Dealer says it quite common for new magnets to not work 50 percent of the time Now I am wondering whether or not just to use 4x2 if I can't even count on new magnets to work.

Ross Workman Did you check the gap from outer ring to inner ring? if it's not perfect it will not magnitize. Also check to make sure you ring to clutch is smooth. I had to order new rings because mine was warped. I've had both issues cause it not to work.

I haven't even had the chance to test the 4x4 system, having starting issues, has new top end but it doesn't want to start, fires for a second and back fires like crazy, plug is wet with gas and oil so I'm assuming my mix is too high and my reeds are bad.but If switch is bad, you think I can just run an on/off toggle switch for future cheap fix?, also can I just run a direct wires to it instead of the board? I'm assuming I can but was never good at electrical work. It's a 200 dollar 4 wheeler so I'm not worried about it being absolutely perfect. Also it's a 1994 400L 4x4. I guess early sportsmen model but doesn't say sportsmen on it.

Yes to the toggle switch. I would check your needle/seat and float on carb. Sounds like the engine is flooding.

question for ya...i have a 1993 Polaris 250 4x4...i cleaned the bus terminal for the electrical and everything seemed to work..i would lose spark for no apparent reason before. Anyways it ran great. Until yesterday, i lost spark again, for no reason. I disconnected the 4x4 switch and the connections to the transmission and all of a sudden i had spark again..i am confused as the spark should only deal with the stator and cdi and coil. Seems like a safety has engaged and killed my spark. i seen in another video of the throttle being taken apart and there is a switch in there, possibly dirty or broken wire. I just find it weird i get spark and then all of a sudden lose it for no reasoning and the wires i am looking at really have nothing to do with it...any ideas?

john cichon I would suspect possibly the stator. you unplugged some power drawing from it. now it has more to power sparkplug. my son's 250 does that. turn lights on..it dies.

Did you test cdi? I've heard of that shorting out spark. maybe buy a used one. try that first.

i have checked the stator and starter coil. Lights work and starter and everything else..everything seemed fine. i have to replace the front sprocket for the 4x4 to work on the arm to the wheels. I will just trace the wired back i guess and see what is going on. I'm sure you know how much of a pain in the ass this will be since these things look like electrical nightmares...Too much going on...Well thanks for your reply
