    Hey dude, I'm working on 93 trailboss 350 2 stroke and it had a bad transmission that I had to rebuild. After rebuilding I'm noticing some problems. I guess I should have paid better attention taking it apart. For instance, the swing arm is bolted with two bolts, one on each side, but there's a gap between the swing arm and the trans which is taken up by the bolt. The bolt then continues like 1/2 inch into the trans mounting hole but is not threaded so that it can turn. Is that right? Have you done any videos on taking out trans?

      You are correct. A nut goes on the end also. I could never film it. My hands were in the way. Tight quarters.

    Do you have footage off you taking out the cv axel? I took mine apart to replace the bearing and everything is was tore up. I have no idea what parts and plates/ bearing went where. Thanks.

    My Hillard clutch will not engage I did all these tests they all passed new Armature plate the only thing I can see that may be wrong is theirs a groove in the back of the clutch I’m assuming that’s not supposed to be there??? Please help

    • @TitaniummanGarage
      @TitaniummanGarage  3 роки тому

      The metal plate goes into the 3 groves in the clutch with the 3 tabs. If the plate is bent or tabs I would replace the plate.

    Thanks for posting. I think I’ll try bi-passing the switch before I even lay the machine up. Still plows in 2x.

    my magnet works its just not pulling strong, could it be a bad magnet?

      I would try adding another ground wire. most times that helps.

    It's a 6 volt system. 12 volt battery not sending the right volt signal 😒 for it to turn on. You should be using a 6 volt battery to check ✔it.

    • @TitaniummanGarage
      @TitaniummanGarage  3 роки тому +1

      There's a 12 volt battery on it. It reads 12 volts everywhere I test it. How do you get 6?

    If you leave that battery on the concrete in 24 hours it will be trash and and it will never take another charge. Put some wood blocks under it

    If the grey wire doesnt have voltage whats going on.

    • @TitaniummanGarage
      @TitaniummanGarage  4 роки тому +1

      If the grey doesn't have power. it could be the 4x4 switch or your not in gear. You can plug the grey wire the red (hot) prong on the circuit board to test it. There's a grey and a grey and white wire. one is hot going to the switch, the other is from the switch to the 4x4 wires. (the skinny ones).

      @@TitaniummanGarage Hey Bud. I have a sportsman 335 but same principles. I tested the switch, the board and even down to the hub and had 12 voltsat all 3 points. the magnet did not seem strong at all. How strong should it be? Also the 4x4 light did not come on. I guess it could be the other side. how much were the new coils?

    • @TitaniummanGarage
      @TitaniummanGarage  3 роки тому +1

      @@MrJimmyBiggs I think 45 bucks on ebay. They should be tight where you can barely move it. Make sure your ring is completely flat too. Any distortion will cause it not to stick.
