Abbey. I really enjoy your videos, and today I´ve had the pleacure of telling my friend how to make a hunger crushing snack ;) but I really have to ask you; Where is that dress from? I had to start the video over because it was all I could think about for the first five minutes ;)
Would you be able to do an updated video on Sarah's day? She's made some pretty intense claims about her diet 'curing her CIN3'. She also talks about her body bloom supplement alot.
I have a very pretty copper tumbler that I use for my overnight water. It is nice to drink from, and if I miss the nightstand when i have had my overnight watering, it wont smash on the floor and thus create an iron leak via a bloody foot... In my town, we all have copper pipes for home water... If anything is going to add ‘good’ copper to my bodily system, it’s the piping, not the tumbler... but it can be an interesting experiment to put lemon water into a copper vessel; preferably with the addition of green coffee beans, garcinia camboga, turmeric and ‘activated ketones’...
the more people who speak out about this the better!!! i try to tell people who show me certain posts how not true they are but lots of people believe that if the account has loads of instagram followers then what they say is fact!!
i have a question abby. i’ve always avoided eating soon before bed because i have heard when you are tired, your body is also tired so your body digests food slower when you’re tired and i felt bad making my body work when it’s “tired” lol.
I have read that glycemic response is better earlier in the day. www.practiceupdate.com/content/effect-of-meal-timing-on-postprandial-glucose-responses-to-a-low-glycemic-index-meal/62686
@@pageleanne7100 oh no, now it's not letting me view it either. I must have had limited access. It said that they gave a glucose tolerance test to healthy non-diabetic people early in the day (around 8 am, as i recall) and then late in the day (around 8pm), and the glycemic response was markedly slower later with the glucose given later in the day (the blood glucose remained higher for longer). They proposed this as evidence that not eating late in the day can be preventative of development of metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes.
@@pageleanne7100 it also talked about the glycemic response being less efficient later in the day even when low-glycemic foods were given (rather than pure glucose, as in the glucose tolerance test)
Copper cups are for Moscow Mules. Even then choose ones lined with stainless steel and only wash them by hand, and dry them thoroughly. (Husband is something of an amateur mixologist so we care about these things 😁)
Abbey, Your videos and content helped me realize the disordered components of my own eating. This empowered me to be working hard to become an intuitive eater and to be free of my history of disordered eating/eating disorder. I thank you so much for this content
Hi Abbey! Is there any risks of having too much added sugar in someone's diet if it doesn't crowd out other important nutrients? I have a big sweettooth and have a lot of candy, is this intuitive? I watched your video about raising intuitive eaters and you said to limit the "fun foods", but doesn't that go against intuitive eating? Ig my question is how can I apply gentle nutrition to my diet regarding added sugar and "fun foods" like candy. Is there a certain amount "too much"?
I use to drink water with fennel for digestion, but all it did was make me break out and caused constipation, I assumes that was my body warning me and stopped doing that
So about copper: the age-old Eastern advise is to use a jug or storage vessel for water - preferably left for a few hours or overnight. The patina that develops in jug is thus not removed. This concentrated water can be diluted or constitute half of daily water consumption. Copper from cup, as you pointed out will not leach into water so quickly. So yes, it's not beneficial and just half-truth health fad. Overnight storage was recommended, esp for Vegetarians. it's better than plastic for storage, coz plastic develops a slimy layer on the inside ( as far I have noticed ) and needs to be cleaned every 3-4 days.
Yes I've been seeing the Instagram one that says "you're full of sh*t. You could have 30 pounds of poop in your intestines right now". Wouldn't that become impacted poop that surgically needs removed, at that point?
I think people mistake bloating with a functioning digestion, a full tummy and lymphatic fluids in the stomach area throughout the day. All bellies are slimmer in the morning after sleeping.
I noticed that my stomach feels bad, if I eat oranges (or acid fruits) first thing in the morning. Guess what - I stopped doing it and eat it after breakfast or in a porridge 😄 I didn't even need Instagram to tell me
Love this video (and all the ones before!) isn’t it interesting how the Instagram algorithm strategically posts these memes so those of us interested in food content get bombarded with these memes, while my friends with other interests don’t even see these!
Thank you for this video ! Aside from the diet BS, I heard that not eating/drinking just before going to bed was helpful to have better quality sleep ? Because you are not digesting. Do you know if there is true to that ? 😊
I was gifted a copper water bottle and didn't use it because I was worried of too much copper intake, because I exclusively drink from water bottles and the water sits in there over night often. Also, because all information about it came from new-age-esoteric-ayurveda sources lol. Maybe I'll give it a try now? After all I really like how it looks.
Hey Abbey! I’m wondering how to deal with food intolerances, I took a food intolerance test and am finding that there’s a lot I can’t eat, foods that I eat on the daily as well
Sadly, I am on a low acid diet because it causes irritation of my bladder. I discovered that citrus, peppers, and vinegar hurt my body in an elimination diet supervised by my doctor. IG is not a substitute for good nutritional advice.
Abbey: “There’s really no need to limit when or how often oranges are enjoyed”
Freelee: “Challenge accepted”
By far the best comment 😂😂

Abbey. I really enjoy your videos, and today I´ve had the pleacure of telling my friend how to make a hunger crushing snack ;) but I really have to ask you; Where is that dress from? I had to start the video over because it was all I could think about for the first five minutes ;)
Thank you for this information! I also wanted to say you’re beautiful and I love your style
Thank you!!
I think we need merch: an orange hoodie that says 'Eat your damn orange whenever the heck you want', Abbey. We can all walk around like Kenny.
Would you be able to do an updated video on Sarah's day? She's made some pretty intense claims about her diet 'curing her CIN3'. She also talks about her body bloom supplement alot.
I'll have a look at that
I have a very pretty copper tumbler that I use for my overnight water.
I LOVE your channnel Abbey 😍😍you always make me feel good in my breakdown days ❤ Thanks god you did this video it was so helpful ❤❤
I'm so glad it was helpful!
im watching this while eating my daughters halloween candy
Yum!
Glad I’m not the only one! Haha 🤣 what’s your favorite candy? Today, I went for the M&Ms
Liz go girl,go! Thanks for sharing...I'm sure it will help someones bad conscience! (Like mine, lol!)
the more people who speak out about this the better!!! i try to tell people who show me certain posts how not true they are but lots of people believe that if the account has loads of instagram followers then what they say is fact!!
“Drink from a copper cup?? What snowflakes. If you want the REAL results, you just... *CHOMP*”
What Canadians did with all our pennies
i have a question abby. i’ve always avoided eating soon before bed because i have heard when you are tired, your body is also tired so your body digests food slower when you’re tired and i felt bad making my body work when it’s “tired” lol.
I have read that glycemic response is better earlier in the day. www.practiceupdate.com/content/effect-of-meal-timing-on-postprandial-glucose-responses-to-a-low-glycemic-index-meal/62686
@@heidih3048 won’t let me read because i’m not a member. what’s it say?
@@heidih3048 that’s awesome to know!! thank you so much!!
Copper cups are for Moscow Mules. Even then choose ones lined with stainless steel and only wash them by hand, and dry them thoroughly. (Husband is something of an amateur mixologist so we care about these things 😁)
Thanks for sharing!
My great grandma lived until 106 and ate burnt toast because she thought it had health benefits... hmmm 😋
Interesting!
Abbey, Your videos and content helped me realize the disordered components of my own eating. This empowered me to be working hard to become an intuitive eater and to be free of my history of disordered eating/eating disorder. I thank you so much for this content
So glad it is helpful!
social media diet culture is one scary place lol. Thanks for debunking the lies!!
This video was interesting and all but like OMG THAT DRESS ABBEY! THAT DRESS! SO PRETTY!!! 😍❤️
Thank you!!
Besides the fact that this as always is a very educative video....I love that dress on you! You look georgeous 😍❤️
Thank you! 😊❤️
I use to drink water with fennel for digestion, but all it did was make me break out and caused constipation, I assumes that was my body warning me and stopped doing that
I have been watching your videos all day!!! Love your channel!
So glad! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
I would love to see a video on the Canadian Food Guide !! 😌
I have a video about this on my channel! ua-cam.com/video/NefrKWPcSfU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AbbeySharp
I loved this video and definitely want to see more as my explore page is swamped with them 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you beautiful QUEEN 🌞🌸💞☮️🥺💓 You're a lifesaver!
For sure
I noticed that my stomach feels bad, if I eat oranges (or acid fruits) first thing in the morning. Guess what - I stopped doing it and eat it after breakfast or in a porridge 😄 I didn't even need Instagram to tell me
Glad that works for you!
Love this video (and all the ones before!) isn’t it interesting how the Instagram algorithm strategically posts these memes so those of us interested in food content get bombarded with these memes, while my friends with other interests don’t even see these!
Totally!
Awesome - more of them!!!
Speaking of digestion timing... could you do a video about gastroparesis? Thanks’
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey Abbey! I’m wondering how to deal with food intolerances, I took a food intolerance test and am finding that there’s a lot I can’t eat, foods that I eat on the daily as well
I'll put this on the list to discuss!
Wow that copper cup on was insane😅 how do people come up with these things. But yes more videos like this please!!!
Abbey could you talk about hypothyroidism/thyroid issues? My nutritionist said to go gluten free but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of info online
I would be interested in hyperthyroidism and thyroid issues as well!
MEE three
I think she might have done that already

Drinking game: take a shot everytime she says “cooper” lol
Sadly, I am on a low acid diet because it causes irritation of my bladder. I discovered that citrus, peppers, and vinegar hurt my body in an elimination diet supervised by my doctor. IG is not a substitute for good nutritional advice.
