- This diesel injector from a Toyota 1kd-ftv was on its short 2nd life. Don’t wreck perfectly good injectors by modifying them. If your doing r&d & wanna build a race car, then go for it.
DONT DO THIS!!! - Авто та транспорт
Anthony thanks for all the wonderful information 👍
This is how you change injector nozzles...Don't!
Love it!
So if there's such a problem with higher flow nozzles, why would denso make them? I get not doing a DIY job in the shed. If the nozzles are swapped they should be bench test afterwards. But what do you have against say a set of +30s going in a car? Obviously you have to remap and all that.
Hey Anthony. One of my nozzles is swollen for some reason. Are you saying I should replace the entire injector?
I am so glad I came across your video. I have a 1.6tdi seat leon which was rough idling. I took my 4 injectors out and got them sent to a injector testing team. On the results 1 of the 4 injectors failed on the idle test. I was told that the cheapest thing to do is get a replacement nozzle or just buy a new one. I was intending on going in the next few days to get a replacement nozzle but after watching this video I have decided to buy a new one. Thank you for sharing this video, it must help alot of people. Also one question I have is on my test results it failed on the LL test in your opinion is this injector failed, because according to them it is.
very good my brother
How does this mechanical injector work
I’m so annoyed that I got ripped off by a mechanic who said he could change my injector nozzles. How can people do this shit.
Sage advice - "don't do it"
OH and please find your magic wand in time for the next video and wave it frantically.
Thank you. I did the mistske to follow other videos showing how to fix the injectors... the hilux wont start and now i have to get 4 new.
Yeah bad information it should be illegal I suspect over the years some laws may change maybe maybe not
@@Fourby4Diesel it really should! Thank you for your videos, they are so usefull! Best regards from sweden
Hey Anthony what do you think about pre-filters for the fuel system to avoid fuel contamination?
We really don’t see a lot of contamination and when you do, extra filters don’t stop it from getting to the Injectors, therefore evidence says it’s not really needed
Bouna sera

No need leave things alone or replace with new injectors
quick question if you want more fuel to make more power what do you do if you don’t put 30% nozzles
Buy a vehicle with a bigger engine
👍👍👍
what if you take off the nossle off clean it with carb cleaner, and put it back?
There’s nothing to clean it’s worn out, watch more videos
@@Fourby4Diesel I'm still a little confused. I watched your whole video and like this person who asked you "what if you take off the nossle off clean it with carb cleaner, and put it back?" I'm wondering if you're saying its not worth opening the nozzle and throwing just those bits into a ultrasonic cleaner or maybe just some acetone to unclog the little ports, if you've got a bad spray pattern? I understand that an injector with 100k Miles on it is most likely worn out but if you're not in a position to spend the thousand or so dollars to have all new injectors, is it still not worth unclogging/cleaning them? I ask because that's my position. I know my injectors are old, don't have the money to buy new ones, but I certainly can open and clean them. I do have an ultrasonic cleaner. And I also know some of the ports/little holes whatever the hell you want to call them, I know some of them are clogged from looking under a microscope. But I can't get them clean without taking them apart. Honestly I'm more scared of stripping the cap-nut while trying to open the damn thing than anything else. Very curious to hear your opinion. Thanks for the video!
so this video is pretty useless? stick to what the title of the video suggests. not everybody can afford bigger and powerful engines rather build with what you have and have a little bit of kick from your vehicle. changing your vehicle should be a personal choice not another random mans business.
