My three favorite electronic deadbolts at the moment are the Schlage BE-365, Schlage Sense and the Schlage Encode.
    Schlage BE365
It's mechanical, very simple, electrical mechanical, very very simple, 19 user codes but no Bluetooth, no Wi-Fi, no audit trail. Just simple, easy to use, reliable.
Schlage BE365 Features - Codes: 2 pre-set unique 4-digit access codes, storage of up to 19 access codes - Applications: Residential single and multi-family doors - Battery: Uses 1 9V battery - Keying: 5-pin tumbler Schlage C keyway over-ride They are just heavy-duty, they last. So this is a very simple one. I really like it. It's simple. It's basic. It's a workhorse. It does the trick.
    Schlage Sense
The Sense was the one I have on my house. Well, it was, it still is. It's a great lock. You can use it, it has built-in Bluetooth. I can, the free app that comes with it, I can see an audit trail. I can program it, but it's Bluetooth. So I don't have the ability to see. Once I leave the house, I cannot, unless you got Apple, but that's another whole system. It works with my Alexa. It works with Google. I test them all with, at my home system, I got Alexa, Google and Apple, and a few others I'm playing with. And this will work with 'em all, through the Bluetooth. So the Sense is upgradable. If you get a Wi-Fi adapter, you can plug this in close to the unit. And now I can put this right in through my home Wi-Fi system, my router, and then wherever I am that has internet in the world, cellular internet, I can see what's going on.
Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt. It makes getting in the door as easy as entering an access code on a touchscreen or using your smartphone to unlock the door before you even get out of the car. And that’s only the beginning of what keyless entry can do for you when it comes to both security and convenience.
Works with Schlage Sense app for Android smartphones, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Use with 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch door. - Can be installed on standard pre-drilled doors.
Easy to set up with smartphone app.
Holds up to 30 access codes.
Graded Best in Residential Security, Durability, and Finish.
    Schlage Encode
The newest product they have is the Schlage Encode. It's great, it's built-in Wi-Fi, built-in Bluetooth. The app is similar, and it's fantastic. This one can do a hundred users. I would never use a hundred users in a million years. And as a little bit of a secret, we have used these on light commercial. It's not recommended for light commercial, but it's that reliable that we've been able to put this on some commercial applications. Very light duty, but it does work quite well. We prefer the more commercial grade stuff, but it does work. This Encode, built-in Wi-Fi, built-in Bluetooth, automatically locking if you want that option.
Certified Commercial Grade 1. - Graded Best in Residential Security, Durability, and Finish.
Create and manage up to 100 access codes for trusted friends and family to use with the fingerprint-resistant, capacitive touchscreen with easy one-touch locking.
Built-in alarm technology senses potential security breaches at the lock.
Low battery indicator offers weeks of advanced warning for battery replacement.
Easy to install with just a screwdriver. Unique Snap n Stay technology snaps the deadbolt onto the door so both hands are free during installation.
Guaranteed to fit standard doors (1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. door thickness and 2-3/8 in. or 2-3/4 in. backset).
Limited lifetime mechanical and finish warranty and 3-year electronics warranty.
Codes: Pre-set, unique 6-digit programming code, two pre-set unique 4-digit access codes, 100 code capacity.
In conclusion, all three are good and it all depends on the bells and whistles you want or need.

@Mr. Locksmith You have earlier videos showing how easy the Schlage electronic locks are to unlock by drilling a simple hole. Now you are saying they are the best. What changed?

I use the GR1 in my complex & they stop working even though the battery has charge.

I started about 15 years ago with a gifted Kwikset lever unit that went out in the 1st year. They easily replaced it & that unit failed. I actually started selling these, Kwikset & Schlage, on eBay & Amazon. I upgraded to Schlage's on all my doors and would never go back. I haven't carried a house key in over 8 years.

Question, I like the extra security of a dead bolt, but like the ease of the auto-locking latch bolt Schlage's. Does Schlage make a combo latch-deadbolt unit with one keypad for latch & dead bolts? Our main entry point is the carport door with a Schlage lever unit. When leaving the house to go to the mail box, etc, it's extra safe if a neighbor calls you over & your house is left open. But having that extra dead bolt would be much more secure.

My experience with the BE365 is that the mechanism that engages the lock fails on those all the time. I've replaced dozens this year.

Your video was fantastic, it was short and simple, quite easy to understand. I think everyone wants an upgrade, nowadays there are many options, for example the new Schlage Encode Plus is amazing, it's reliable and advanced.
