Hey, I've been invited to IIT Bombay before a couple of months and I got a chance to visit the Hostels at IIT Bombay. So, I along with @therushikale and @EknoorSingh went to the Old Hostels and the New Hostels and did a fun little comparison. So, this is the IIT Bombay Vlog where we do the Hostel Room Tour. I think rooms of 2nd gen iits( like jodhpur , Bhubneshwar) are way better than old iits. I am a fresher at IIT BHUBANESWAR and my room (with single occupancy) is better than all of my friends at other iits. I think u should also review that :)

Even our hostel rooms at BIT Mesra are of the same size and literally two people are living in such rooms, but as you said you need good friends around you which keep you away from just thinking how pathetic the rooms are!

I'm in 11th rn and I have done 25% of the syllabus of 11th chem and like 30% physics and 75% maths can you give me tips to catch up to jee syllabus before i join class 12th which is in March,
I don't do non attending and i come home at 2:30 and then I have tuitions at 5 to 7 and after that I study till 1am so I can catch up and i take a break every 1hr 15 min or so but still I feel slow pls help tharun bro

IIT Bombay has 16 hostels of which 1 to 9 are very old hostels and some rooms are highly congested. Just that I happen to get some really good rooms.
on the basis of what is it decided that one would get a good hostel or a congested one?
